The godslayer gestured toward Tanyth as if daring the planet to make its move, and in response, more cosmic energy surged into the young man's body.
All Arthur did was laugh and snap his fingers, activating one of his Pseudo-Authorities.

And Time obeyed.
The flow of time around Tanyth came to a halt, frozen in place. But a moment later, a crack split through the monochrome stillness, and the Hero was released.
His eyes widened in shock as he jumped back, putting some distance between himself and Arthur.
Meanwhile, Arthur was looking at him with wide eyes.
"Oh my, I never thought this was possible."
To an outsider, it appeared as if Tanyth had somehow broken free of Arthur's time stop with his own power, but any wielder of Time Authority would have recognized what truly happened.
