Adriana's POV
The cell was filled with nothing but disturbing silence which made time slow, and with each ticking second, my heart felt heavier and heavier.
I raised my head, with my back leaning on the wall as I sat on the floor.
The view of the empty white ceiling was all I had. My mind swirled at the thought of Daven's visit and his intention. Did he really think he could just come and fool me into telling all my secrets?
That is impossible.
I know I've committed no crime, I'll be out of here soon and I'll make sure that the whole family loses every reason to smile.
"Ady!" Kent came racing into the station.
"Kent," I smiled as he walked towards me.
Finally, I could hear some good news.
"How's mom?" I asked, knowing well how emotional she can get.
"I left her at home and asked her to get some rest. She's fine. just taking a nap." He assured me.
"Good, good. Thanks for taking care of her." I said.
