' What ! ' I was momentarily stunned for the third time today. I was about to talk to the teacher about the shadow when I got some shocking system messages.

[ System upgrade starts]

A shooting pain spread from the core of my brain to my whole body. My eyes widened and I fell on my knees and I shouted in intense pain.

My power began to overflow out of my body in form of a white aura. Everyone that had passed out had woken up.

The standing rank 1 students were forced to lay flat on the floor. My new friends except Rachel had to kneel but even Rachel looked to be struggling.

The training teacher was supposed as he hadn't heard of this kind of thing before. Teachers rushed in as they had sensed an uncontrolled burst of power.

I received one strange notification again.

Everyone fell to the floor with me and started screaming along with me. " W-w - what's happening!" one of the teachers said in fear.

" Send the healers here, Kevin is vomiting blood!!" another shouted. It turns out my lungs and vocal couldn't take my shouts and screams any more.

'Dammit, how long is this going to take'

[ 1 hour, 7 minutes and 57 seconds remaining]

Healers came in and started their work. A golden light came out of their hands and began to heal my lungs only for me to scream again and for it to burst.

"We can only stop the bleeding, he keeps screaming and his lungs may not make it!" a healer shouted.

" I - I - impossible!, their ranks are increasing." a teacher shouted as she pointed at our watches. The watches on our chests couldn't take the power and the exploded.

Fifty eight minutes later

" The screams are reducing, I think it's coming to an end." a healer said. Two minutes later everyone in the room was lying flat and all rank 1 students were on the verge of dying.

I passed out and people were able to stand but there was a large pressure in the room due to there being 1 overlord and 1 overlay in the room along with 3 peak mortals.

We were taken to the nearest hospital for treatment and we had to stay there for 2 days before we were released.

We were out into seperate rooms during those two days and we couldn't see each other.

On the second day I got so bored that I decided to look at my stat panel.

The notifications that I had decided to keep for later came rushing in and the rewards blew my mind.

This is the third or fourth time I would be stunned in surprise for a week. Like I'm getting too overpowered.

Meanwhile in a dark room, two figures can be seen sitting on a chair at a table. The table is rectangular with the two of them at the side of the table that will give more distance from each other.

The most noticable things about them were the black angel wings on their backs and the cloaks. As they talked, its was obvious that one was a man and the other was a woman.

"The seal on the child has broken" the man said. " but it is too late. The army is ready and we shall strike by tomorrow noon. I don't even understand how the child survived it"

" Don't get ahead of yourself, Naman." the woman said. "We still have to deal with the god there. Well need the power of Specimen Jack for it. He's a level 950 god."

"I feel like destroying that place now and avenging Raman right away. Don't you think so Black rose?." said the figure identified as Naman.

"Don't worry Naman, time and space are on our side." Black rose said with a sinister laugh.

They removed the cloaks from their faces to reveal a man with a bald head and a long ponytail at his back like the chinese on earth and a woman with skin a pale a that of a vampire. She even had elongated canines and a thick red lipstick.

They wore shirts that showed clocks with a man sitting in a lotus position in it.

Red alarms blared in the room as the man opened a wormhole and they hopped in. They appeared in another room where they were on a stage like place.

The room was very large that it contained what looked like millions of troops. They all had their hands stretched out and they were all covered in sweat.

The direction they were pointing at led to a large circle glass where in it was a man sitting in a lotus position. He had white angel wings that were larger than snow and a very handsome face with blonde hair that will make even men turn heads.

He had some wires connected to him that led to the terminals where the woman was.

"He's waking up, it'll take an hour!. The troops are stabilizing him and trying to put him back to sleep. They're too slow and it'll take 25 years at most. If we join, it will be reduced to 13."

"Damn it!, damn it! damn it!" shouted Naman in frustration and anger as with each ' damn it '. he made a hole in the wall. He calmed down a little and he said " I guess we'll have to wait 13 years to avenge Raman."

Kevin POV

We were all discharged and sent to our hostels/apartments. Leon and I headed to my apartment and as we went I saw the other three following us and Jasmine still gave me those strange looks.

We all entered and all we sat in the living room. Right now in everyone's minds, this was what was happening.

Everyone POV

Kevin - "Now, what should I tell them."

Roy - "What is this feeling in me?"

Leon - "Who's gonna ask the million dollar question?"

Rachel - "Should I trust this guy?"

Jasmine - "Kevin smells nice today~"

Kevin POV

While I was still thinking of what to tell them, Leon talked, "What happened to us Kevin?" Everyone looked at me. I was getting nervous with 2 curious pairs of eyes, 1 cold pair of eyes and a puppy dog pair of eyes looking at me.

I was about to say I don't know when I heard a robotic voice in my head. ' Host should take a look at the description of the system upgrade rewards.'

' Why didn't I think of that!' I said in my mind.

Active mode is the assassin mode. You gain invisibility, unsounding footsteps and erased scent. Even peak overlords won't notice you. Your movements won't even move the wind.]

' That's another wow this week.' I thought. I told them everything except the system and the affection for Rachel part.

After I said everything, there was a few minutes silence as everything was sinking in.

I thought everyone believed until Roy started to laugh until he fell off the sofa. "You've gotta be lying Kevin. There's nothing like this. It's not real. This power I'm feeling in my body has gotta be something else."

He saw the serious looks on the others and he said " Seriously guys!, you believe him?!"

"I believe Kevin." Leon said. "Don't tell me your can't feel a connection to him."

The two of them continued to argue until we heard a knock on the door. We all went there and as I opened the door, I saw the fat announcer from my awakening day in front of me.

He had a scroll in hi hand and he said " Your highness!, this is a message from your parents.

Kevin, you are to return home immediately this message with your friends and anyone else involved in your ' whatever-you-did '. Just come home.
