Gojo had bombarded Cloe with questions about the various kingdoms, politics, history, and people of this new land.
Though surprised by his curiosity, Cloe answered each query in detail.
As Cloe spoke of turbulent border disputes and shifting royal alliances, Gojo listened intently.
Although he had learned they were from the party of Raeven, Gojo was a little paranoid.
He had read many Fan Fiction stories about Overlord but they often ended up being dropped abruptly or the MC got teleported to a whole different world from the world shown in the anime.
He always wanted to save Gazef Stronoff, kill the old bastard *cough* King of Re-Estize, Save the smart son of the bastard, fuck Albedo, Enri, Evil Eye, Twin Ninjas.... the list goes on.
Well, he was a fan back then, but now he doesn't feel that way.... or does he?
When Cloe finished, Gojo let out a sigh of relief.
He had also learned various stuff regarding McBlue's race as they could shift their size at will.
They reached E-Rantel, the bustling capital of the kingdom.
The commoners were awestruck at the sight of the Giant Wolf pulling a carriage.
However, the moment they noticed Marquis Raeven's crest on the carriage, they refrained from voicing their curiosity, opting instead to watch in silence.
The procession came to a halt in front of a grand royal inn. As the capital, E-Rantel boasted large and opulent inns to accommodate the nobility who frequently visited the city.
The imposing structure stood as a testament to the grandeur of the royal city.
Gojo got out of the carriage, and Cloe and Albert followed suit, stepping onto the paved pathway leading to the inn's entrance.
Gojo turned to the Blue. "Blue, Shrink down for me, would you?"
The wolf concentrated and its body shimmered, rapidly decreasing in size until it resembled a small pup, standing obediently by Gojo's side. *woof*
"Good Boy" Gojo praised Blue.
The Adventurers had communicated to the team and Marquie Raeven from a crystal orb and Raeven was in the city for some matters so he wanted to meet this powerful stranger.
The staff told them to wait and let Gojo and others to a large waiting hall.
Soon the ornate doors swung open, and Marquis Raeven entered the lavish hall, pride and authority radiating from his noble bearing.
Cloe and Albert bowed deeply in greeting. "My lord, it is an honor," Albert said respectfully.
Raeven regarded them warmly before turning his keen gaze upon Gojo. A skilled man could discern great power beneath Gojo's carefree surface.
"You have my thanks for ensuring the safety of my men," Raeven said graciously. "There are not many who could best such savage beasts. Pray tell, can I ask what is your name?"
As Raeven asked Gojo's name, he replied playfully, "Don't you know it's rude to ask someone's name without introducing yourself first?"
Sweat beaded on Raeven's forehead, caught off guard by Gojo's disregard for hierarchy. He recomposed himself with a smile.
"Forgive my rudeness. I am Elias Brandt Dale Raeven, one of the nobles of this kingdom." He extended a hand which Gojo took warmly.
"Nice to meet you, Elias. I'm Gojo Satoru." Gojo said casually, adding a sly grin. "So what did you want to discuss?"
Raeven was amused by Gojo's informality, a rare thing for one of his stature. This man clearly followed no rules but his own.
"Please, call me Raeven. I wished to thank you, as a protector of my people." Raeven said graciously.
Marquie was a busy man, but he was no fool, he had himself made his Adventurer team, handpicking each individual.
He had heard about this Man's formidable powers. And adding to the fact that this man made the B rank Monster, which looked like an A rank in its full size, his pet....
He generally wanted to know about him, he may be a descendent of the Heroes or Gods or maybe a spy from another nation.
While putting on the guise of a sly opportunist, he was actually a big patriot and he wanted to make a friendly relationship with Gojo if it were possible.

Marquis Raeven talked with Gojo in private.
He wasted no time getting to the matter. "So, mind telling me about yourself, Mr. Gojo?"
Gojo leaned back casually in his chair. "I'm but a traveler passing through. As for my abilities, let's just say I've seen much in my journeys."
"Come now, such power is no small thing. Please indulge my curiosity -" Raeven pressed but quickly shut his mouth.
The look on Gojo's face became serious and the temperature dropped all of a sudden.
But then, with a wry smile. Gojo spun an elaborate tale of Bushit he came up with the help of Dark Mind.
he was once captain of an adventuring squad hailing from distant frigid lands. During an epic battle with a formidable Frost Dragon, Gojo alone survived through his mastery of an obscure martial technique passed down his clan for generations.
After going through the dragon's treasure he found a relic and the relic changed his appearance.
Wounded and weary, he decided to forge a new path away from past ghosts.
Renaming himself for a fresh start, Gojo now sought to use his talents for the people as a protector seeks purpose.
Raeven listened raptly.
Raeven couldn't help but recall a growing Name of an Adventurer called Momon, he had a rough inkling that Momon and Gojo could be the same person inside the armor but discarded that thought as he had heard Momon used swords but Gojo didn't.
Marquis respected a man wishing to leave his past behind. If Gojo proved useful, that's all that truly mattered.

One week had passed since Gojo came to this world. He had been living in one of the rooms of a luxurious inn.
He had now noted all the necessary information about this new world.
He had gotten info that before his arrival here, E-Rantel had faced danger when a powerful vampire was spotted near the city.
In response, the Adventurer's Guild dispatched two teams, Darkness and Kralgra, to confront it.
Although Kralga was wiped out, Darkness led by Momon returned victoriously and was made the Kingdom's third Adamantite-ranked adventurer group.
"So.... the Jaldabeoth play will be happening soon, huh.." Gojo scratched his chin.
Gojo had registered himself as an adventurer,
Thanks to Marquis Raeven's influence and the reports circulating about Gojo's remarkable feat of single-handedly subduing a pack of A-rank Monster Wolfs, coupled with the fact that he had an A-rank Monster Wolf as his pet, Gojo was quickly granted the prestigious Mithril rank.
[Note: Copper -> Iron -> Silver -> Gold -> Platinum -> Mithril -> Orichalcum -> Adamantite ]
He would have gotten Orichalcum Rank but the Guild's policy can't register a new adventurer at that level within just a week of joining.
The adventurer's guild in E-Rantel, a bustling hub of activity, buzzed with whispers and murmurs as news of the mysterious adventurer with a Giant Wolf companion spread.
