(3 AM in the morning)'Huh! What a weird dream!'
***
(2 PM in the afternoon)
Hi there! I'm Takeshi Minamoto, a 21-year-old student, and I'm currently knee-deep in my law studies. If there's one thing I'm known for, it's being a "straight A student." I've consistently ranked in the top three in all my exams.
Right now, it's precisely 2:00 p.m., and I find myself in a legal reasoning class, taught by none other than Miss Ella, one of the most striking teachers on our entire school campus.
Miss Ella, well, she's the kind of beauty that could mesmerize anyone, but believe it or not, my mind is wandering elsewhere.
Hehe! You see, today's a big day. The latest chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen is set to release at 4:00 p.m., and I can barely contain my excitement to rush back home and devour it.
Don't get me wrong; I'm not ignoring the class. I've already poured over the contents of today's lecture during the weekend.
But then, a familiar voice pierces through my daydreams. "Takeshi?... Takeshi? I've called your name at least ten times. Where is your mind wandering?"
It's Miss Ella, and her tone carries a hint of frustration.
"Oh, sorry, ma'am. It's nothing," I respond, snapping back to reality.
She gracefully strides towards my desk, coming to a halt right in front of me. "Takeshi, if there's something bothering you, or you're facing difficulties, don't hesitate to confide in your friends," she says, her tone softening, and her eyes filled with kindness.
Ella - "You've consistently topped your class since the beginning of this session and have maintained a 100% attendance rate. I know you're working hard, but remember to take some time for yourself. If there's something on your mind, you can talk to me. You know that, right?"
Takeshi - "It's really nothing, ma'am. Thank you for your concern," I reply with a charming smile. Wait, did she just blush?
Ella - "Ba..ba..baka, it's only natural for a teacher to worry about her students. But, I'll genuinely help you if you ever need it," she mumbles the last part of her sentence.
With that, she returns to her teacher's desk, resuming her usual strict demeanor.
Ella - "Alright, Takeshi, can you enlighten the class about 'Intellectual Property Law'?"
Takeshi - "Well, the... "
And so, the school day stretches on for another hour.
(4 PM)
"Finally, I'm free! Let me check the manga site."
'Yes, it's finally here! I can't wait to get home and dive into this.' With these thoughts, I begin reading the manga, eagerly anticipating Gojo's showdown with Sukuna. I can barely wait for Gojo to hand Sukuna a resounding defeat. Hihi.
[A/N: Lol! Who's going to break the news to him? Heh.]
(... After 1 minute)
"Huh? What the actual heck?!"
How is this possible? What the actual horse-writing is?
Even if you don't love a character, how can you play with the fans' hearts, you author?
As the chapter came to a close, I felt an overwhelming sense of disappointment. I couldn't fathom how an author could toy with their readers like this.
My frustration reached its peak as I sat down to write a comment in the section below, venting all my anger and frustration. After a few minutes of furious typing, I felt somewhat relieved.
I started making my way home. It's just a five-minute walk from the school to my place. I thought about checking out the latest chapter at the High Court first, but you know about the HYPE, right? Right...?
Usually, I walk home with my two friends, Nobita and Giyan, but today I was delayed by the chapter. You might wonder, couldn't they have waited for just a minute? Well, the thing is, they've witnessed me getting agitated after reading a new chapter these past few days. Every time, I start ranting to them about it.
They aren't manga readers; they belong to that exclusive club of "straight anime watchers." Yes, they're an entirely different breed. So, I can't blame them for leaving me behind when they heard that a new chapter was out today. Hihi! Can't really blame them, can I?
While going on my way I saw three kids playing with a cat in the park, they had shoved the cat's lower body under sand only its head out, and were bullying it by throwing rocks at it. Judging from their appearance I think they were wearing a High School uniform, Maybe 16 y/o or something.
I, as a good citizen of our society tried to avoid all of that, but then my eyes fell on the pathetic appearance of the cat, its eyes filled with tears like it was pleading for its life. The thing is, if it were any other day I would have gone from here minding my own business but today, today I was angry so I decided to teach the three kids a lesson.
I walked up to them saying loudly, "Kids! Leave the poor little cat alone!" Then I took one step forward and shouted, "Come closer, I will strike you!"
The three brats looked at me wide eyed, "Huh? Mr. I suggest you mind your own business, we are just playing " one of them said with a mocking smile.
'These fucking brats' I thought
"Yup! Don't bother us or I will tell my big brother." the Teenager continued, and he seemed pretty confident. He took out his phone and started dialing someone.
'huh.. do you think you got that kind of time?' I thought as I grabbed his phone and threw it in the trash bin "Now what fucker? you were calling someone, right? now call him, scream."
"D-Don't come any closer, you don't know m...."
I got even angrier than before, and without any further ado struck the kid across his cheek. He yelled "Ow!" And then immediately threw a punch at me which I dodged.
"Don't do that! This is not a playground! Now you better go find your brother!" I shouted again while punching the boy's face,
he began to cry
and ran off crying with his pathetic bunch.
I grabbed the cat and looked it straight in the eyes, telling it, "See, this is not a playground! Go back to where you belong!" I didn't want to hurt the poor animal, but I wanted to make them understand. That was all.
As soon as I finished talking, I started walking back home.
As I headed home, I heard a notification chime.
"Rokudenashi...!! (Bastard)" "You filthy bastard!"
There was someone defending the author's actions! How on earth could anyone defend something like that? I mean, give me a day to sleep on it at least!
I pushed my glasses, which hung on my nose bridge, in a cool and suave manner. Trust me, it was cool, no lies, bro... 🥺
With my hands massaged and ready for action, I started typing counter-arguments like a GT-R R35 going at top speed. After a solid minute of countering, it seemed like I won, and the defender stopped replying to my comments.
"Hah, finally some inner peace."
But then, I heard someone shouting from behind.
"Hey, Bakayarou!! (Ass*hole), the light is red!"
"Huh? Light? Nanniii!!!!?"
At that moment, a deafening screech of tires assaulted my ears, and I felt an intense, shocking, and downright painful sensation enveloping me from head to toe.
"The f*ck!? What is happeni...."
