In a stadium jam packed with spectators shouting and cheering, there can be seen two people directly opposite sides of the battlefield leering at each other with serious expressions. Both tensing up for the start of this battle

"This battle is the finals of the Rookie Tournament!" The referee calls out, hyping up the crowd "This battle will be a 3v3 match with no switching out, Begin!"

* * * 20 minutes earlier * * *

A girl with a big red ribbon tied to her hair, sitting down by herself, can be seen sobbing.

"May, it's all right don't be sad, everything isn't about always winning. "

Brendan, saying this trying to comfort May. May, going into the fight with Wallace, was at a disadvantage, with her strongest Pokemon being naturally weak to all his Pokemon.

Her pride is hurting the most. Her whole team, swept by Wallaces, one Milotic, in the matter of minutes.

Her team not being able to do much, she just stood there on stage in the semi-finals swept without Wallace's Milotic even exhausting itself that much. In Front of thousands of viewers.

"I will get stronger and catch up to you." May says, with a new look in her eyes, like a match being lit on fire. May with a now resolute face looks at Brendan.

"Wait for me May, I'll be back." Brendan says as he heads off to the distance to the battlefield, slowly fading in the distance from May.

"That idiot." May says blushing, remembering how close Brendan was to her face.

Both trainers hearing the referee threw out their Pokeballs.

"Kirlia!"

Pokemon: Lombre (Deep Green)

"Lobre!"

Brendan wanting to make the first move tells Kirlia telepathically. 'Kirlia disarming voice then use double team'

Wallace not wanting to stand still, orders Lobre to use a water gun. Both attacks cancel each other out. Wallace seeing the double team, shouts.

"Lombre use razor leaf then water gun!

Brendan seeing this, tells Kirlia to dodge the razor leaf. Kirlia dodging the lazor leaf, instinctively uses teleport before the water gun hits her. 'Kirlia use Psychic!' Brendan says through the link

Kirlia hearing this uses a psychic to pick up Lombre and slam him down to the floor. Lobre takes a beating, hears Wallace say. "Use mist Lobre!"

Lobre recovering from the beating he got from psychic, uses must to cover up most of the battlefield. Kirlia seeing this uses a disarming voice dealing some damage to Lombre.

"Lombre use water gun now!"

Lobre hearing his trainer use a water gun. The water gun getting a direct hit on Kirlia causing it to take a few steps back. "Lobre don't let it recover energy ball!"

Brendan seeing this, tells Kirlia to teleport and finish off the Lombre with a psybeam. Kirlia teleporting out of the way of a water gun, uses a psybeam on the already exhausted Lombre, knocking it out of stage.

"Well that was something, I guess I have to take you seriously now."

Wallace says with a hint of surprise. All his matches until now he's won with only one Pokemon switching between his three Pokemon. Wallace grabbing a Pokeball out of no where throws it (I mean, look at a photo of him where tf does he keep his Pokeballs, in his cape??).

Pokemon: Milotic (Light Purple)

"Milotic!"

A beautiful serpent like creature pops out of the Pokeball, encircling itself when landing shows itself in front of Brendan and Kirlia. Brendan knowing Milotic is extremely strong, tells Kirlia to use psychic.

Kirlia grabbing Milotic, hurls it to the other side of the battlefield. Wallace knowing that Kirlia is weak right now, tells Milotic to attack.

"Milotic use water pulse!"

Kirlia watching the water pulse uses teleport. 'Kirlia use heal pulse on yourself then use double team.

Kirlia successfully healing itself because of the distance between Milotic and itself, also uses a double team. Wallace frowning because of Kirlia healing itself, orders Milotic to use surf.

Milotic seeing all the clones proceeds to use surf. A huge tidal wave suddenly appears behind Milotic and starts its raging waves over to Kir lias direction hitting all the Kirlia clones. 'Kirlia use psybeam now!'

Kirlia with the opportunity, goes for a psybeam. Milotic using the water to dodge, flings itself above Kirlia and uses an aqua tail. Aqua tail hitting Kirlia sends it hurling towards the floor. Wallace seeing the opportunity tells Milotic to finish Kirlia.

"Milotic now! use water pulse!"

The water pulse, too fast to dodge, hits Kirlia, making her faint.
