Chapter 2

When he finally got over his rage, he came to realisation that there were others like him, standing in front of him as well as behind him. It was then he realised he was in a line.

He looked forward, trying to see where the line started, but like always he ended up being disappointed. Faced with the unknown, he was worried, however he who had lost all his hopes in the darkness, couldn't help but be curious about where the line carried him.

The line quickly moved forward and when there were only 99 people before him, he saw a guy with deep circles under his eyes, leading a people to the different doors one at a time. No matter how many entered, none came back. Suddenly, he saw a person from behind him rush up to door, only for some other guards to arrive and pull him back. Nick saw the guy handcuffed and being dragged away in chains, yelling that his human rights were being violated and to let him off this moment, but no one paid any heed to him.

Soon peace once again returned, but no one realised that this was only the calm before a storm. This little antic had sparked a fire of rebellion among the others and they too rushed frantically towards those doors. The guards who were outnumbered could barely control them. It was then that Nick saw a chance. While the guards were busy dealing with the others, he sneaked towards one of the doors at the very end.

He heard a shout from his behind and when he moved his head to look behind him. He saw one of the guards rushing towards him. " STOP",said the guard, but Nick who was already so close, how could he let the chance slip from his fingers. He grabbed the handle of the door and soon he was transported to a room. In front of him were box like gadgets which he recalled to be called computers. He didn't know how he knew what they were called, but he chose to ignore that now. He moved towards it and saw a strange document which contained questions.

He went through them, but realized they kept on getting stranger and stranger. There were some simple questions like what he wanted his name to be in his next life, his age , height appearance , but at the same time there were questions such as which race he wanted to reincarnate as, cheats and some other questions which seemed useless now, only for them to prove important later in the story.
