Colonel Müller

"THIS IS FUN!" Holding and choking 100 monsters at a time, Yuri felt like Darth Vader! Since the Star Wars films were the only ones she saw, she was a huge fan of Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker. For the last 30 minutes, she was testing out the Deathcon Rifle and her armor. She found out that the shotgun could use a devastator shell too, and it was disgusting to see the monsters turned into meatpaste. She also found out that she could transform her rifle into two swords, daggers, and a spear. For more, she thought, she needed the other attachments. What turned out to be very useful was the Automatic Ammunition Production Modification. If she attached the module, which was on her hip, via a special 1mm big tube with her gun, the gun would automatically reload. That means rapid fire with a shotgun! With the Jump Kit mod, she could jump up to 30 meters in the sky and 50 meters long. The Gyro motor mod was already in action and enhanced her movements; the disguise/invisibility modification was what the name said; and the auto heal/seal mod sealed any wound or leak in the suit in an instant.

"Time to figure out the new things." The magic hasn't changed. The interesting part was the other energies. Firstly, she used a simple slash movement and activated [Aura] around the blade. BOOM! A huge chunk of the Dungeon wall disappeared after a red-black arc of energy hit it. "Nice! Destructive, easy to use, and cool-looking!" She then proceeds to use a combo of slashes, hits, parrys, and stabs, and surprisingly, everything went well! The wall was now practically nonexistent. "Next up, [Ki]!" She did the same thing as before, but no arc came out of the sword! She looked more closely and could see a small film of energy over the sword. "Strange..." She walked up to the wall and slashed it. The sword went through like butter. "Ahhh, so [Ki] makes your weapon sharper and sturdier. Neat!" She already experimented with [Force], so she decided to use [Elesta]. She concentrated on her hand. A warm feeling was emitting from her body. She hadn't felt it when activating the other powers, so she opened her eyes and could see that her hand was completely white. No, it was covered in a white energy that was aggressively shizzling. Doing what came to her mind at first, she punched the wall. BOOOM! The wall was eradicated. Woa," she said, jumping back in surprise. {If it could only be used for defense...} She got an idea. Setting the Deathcon Rifle on a countdown, standing in front of it, and using energy, she was very confident in her abilities. Bum! The rifle shot. She braced herself for impact, and... nothing happened. She looked in front of her, and there, the bullet hung in a shield of white energy, slowly disintegrating. "YES! THIS IS USABLE!"

She spent the next 30 minutes testing until the next wave came. [New wave in 3], [2], [1], [New wave incoming]. But instead of monsters, nothing Nothing came or even let out a killing intent. 5 minutes passed, and Yuri wandered around the area to search for enemies'. "Hmm?" Just now, she noticed a small layer of white dust on her arm. "What?" She suddenly felt extremely dizzy. "Mask out!" she commanded per voice to the Mk73 Suit. Trying to save herself from this paralyzing pulver, she put on her mask that filters the air around her. Sadly, it was too late. Yuri dropped to the ground. "That such a strong girl would appear in this area. Don't worry, little one, you're mine now." These were the last words she heard before she slipped away into the dark.

"Sir, SIR! We have to evacuate the citizens before these buggers come to the city!" {What is this?} "Corporal Irischnov, the correct term for our enemies is Xenoreplix. They may look like overdimentional crabs, but they are on par with us in terms of intelligence. We learned this in bootcamp! Are you perhaps going senile?" The body Yuri was in said jokingly. {Are these the memories from the soldier?} [Correct. You have been knocked out by an unknown pulver. To cooperate even better in the future, General Müller decided to show you a bit of his experience. "How dare you, Müller! To tell a young lady that she is senile is unacceptable! I should.." "GUYS! NOW IS NOT THE TIME FOR THIS!" a young man shouted to Yuri and Irischnov. "The Xenoreplix are on the way." He got cut off right in the middle of his sentence. Literally cut off, a 2.5-meter-long crab-like thing that was covered in a black shell appeared. "IT'S AN ELITE! Save the citizens! Buy as much time as you can." Major Johnson tried to call but was already sliced in half. These Xenoreplix have two pairs of razor-sharp claws that can cut concrete without problem. In addition to that, the Elites have heavy armor on all of their body parts. Even a 1-ton shell from artillery can only inflict light damage on an Elite. Luckily, these things are very rare, but when one appears, you can only pray that it doesn't see you. That is the only weakness of the Xenoreplix. They can't hear until 150 decibels are reached, have bad sight, and have no sense of smell or taste. But even the Grunts are up to 50 km/h fast. The elites are up to 88 km/h.

"SCATTER! Throw garbage at this thing!" Someone from another company screamed. Yuri's body wanted to warn that person that his voice exceeded 150 decibels, but it was too late. In an instant, the Elite had rushed to the man, cut him in four pieces, and then proceeded to kill all of the man's comrades, who were unlucky enough to be near the idiot. "Fuck!" Irischnov whispered. "This was supposed to be an easy mission! What happened when an Elite showed up?" Müller had no answer to that question. Yuri knew, since she was in his body and could see his thoughts. He grabbed his walkie-talkie. "Colonel Müller to all soldiers in this area. An Elite Xenoreplix has shown up. I can hear the civilians panicking. We need to distract that thing until the civilians are evacuated. May God be with you." Müller could see a few squadrons in the line of sight turning white. That was basically suicide. What happened next was a 1-hour-long battle with the Elite. The soldiers tried to shoot the eyes of the elite, but failed miserably due to the extreme maneuverability of said elite. They were poorly equipped for such an operation. Still using projectile weapons and not the newer laser variants, the crab had enough time to dodge an attack.

1 hour and 30 minutes in the future

"Colonel Müller. We are the last squad remaining." Irischnov said. We were the last survivors of this battle. The rookies that the other squads were made of made the crucial mistake of not moving. 10 minutes ago, the Xenoreplix started to attack the positions the shots came from. The rookies panicked and screamed, which lured the beast exactly to their position. Now what to do? He looked around. Looking at the corpses, he felt sorry for the poor recruits. Then he noticed something. They all had a lot of ammo, grenades, and other explosives remaining. "Corporal Irischnov, go slowly to all the corpses, remove the explosives, and gather them all on a large pile. I'm going to distract that thing." He was already on his way when he heard the quiet. "Hey what? ... Fuck!" Corporal Irischnov also moved. What followed was 10 minutes of Colonel Müller shooting the Elite five times and then changing positions. He was careful enough not to go to any position twice.

"Colonel Müller, I've got all the explosives!" Irischnov called over the radio. "Great Irischnov! Retreat and tell the higher-ups that there may be more than this elite on this planet." "Roger that!" Irischnov walked 50 meters before turning around. "Colonel? Aren't you coming too?" She sounded curious. "No, Irischnov. The engines of a spaceship are loud. Now that nothing will distract it, it will slice your ship with you inside the second you start the engines. I'm staying here, and I will try to damage the hearing of that beast!" Müller decided his fate when he saw that Elite. Serving the empire with his life was the best he could do. "SIR! Please consider us." "IRISCHNOV! THAT WAS AN ORDER!" Müller said he was angered. "...understood, sir. Retreating now." 3 minutes passed before Irischnov sent a message. "Colonel Müller, I'm starting the engines in 5 seconds." That was the sign the Colonel was waiting for. He shot out of his cover next to the pile of explosives, 5 meters away. Deep inside the pile, there was his remotely activated grenade. With the trigger in his left hand, he shot the Xenoreplix in full-auto and yelled, "Hey, you dumb crab! I'M OVER HERE!" The Xenoreplix instantly shot towards him, but was stopped in his tracks 2 meters before the pile by a hidden landmine. The creature stumbled and fell right on the pile. With its belly on top"Gotcha!" He triggered the grenade, and he was thrown away from the shockwave. "YEAAA!" He yelled. "EAT THAT! I know you aren't dead! BUT EAT THAT!" As he said that, he could see a shadow in the smoke. The Xenoreplix screamed. That was his opportunity! When Xenoreplix screams for help, they scream for 30 seconds! Colonel Müller rushed to the Xenoreplix, took a grenade, and was ready to throw. He felt a stinging pain in his leg. He looked down. One of the claws of the Xenoreplix was stuck in his leg. Instead of screaming, however, he looked forward. The beast looked him directly in the eyes. Then it opened its mouth to eat him. He quickly threw the grenade and got his arm sliced off. The creature swallowed the grenade. It too seemed to realize what that was because it was screaming. It was slicing the air with its claws and slicing Müller's throat, cutting off his right leg completely, but also his abdomen and piercing his heart. Müller fell backwards, laughing, knowing that his name will be in history books as the man who ordered the safety of citizens first and also took down a Xenoreplix Elite. She was the first person ever to do that. He heard the familiar boom, and everything went silent. He closed his eyes, and everything was black.

{Was that it? Was that how he died?} [Negative. [That was only a small part of his memories.]

Blurry vision. Everything Colonel Müller saw was blurry, but... these are the uniforms of the Imperial Medics! He couldn't see their faces due to the heavy armor they wore. That armor was due to enemy soldiers shooting medics on purpose. To counteract this, the medics were equipped with heavy armor that could withstand even a barrage of artillery fire for one minute. "...ear me?! COLONEL! Can you hear me?"" he heard. He wanted to answer, but a horrendous pain shot through his body.

{AAAAARGHHH!} That pain wasn't the pain from his memories! This was pain inflicted to her real body in this very moment! > I see.< Yuri flinched. {Are you another God?} No, I'm General Müller. I wanted to show you more, but this isn't the right time for that. We will definitely meet again.<

Back in Reality

Yuri awoke from the horrendous pain in her body and tried to scream. To her shock, the pain was so strong that she couldn't even scream. Then it suddenly stopped. "Well, well, well. It looks like you awoke to beauty. I'm going to have much fun with you in the following 3 days. Sadly, that is all the time we can spend together since the guards of this place will become suspicious after that." Yuri heard the female voice that she heard before she fell unconscious.
