Celestians [3]

Ellie leaned in eagerly towards Aisam, her eyes filled with anticipation as they sat closely in armchairs.

Aisam paused, looking serious, and asked her a crucial question, "Why are you telling me all this? What's your real reason?" He gazed at her intently, waiting for her answer, suspicion evident in his narrowed eyes.

Ellie was taken aback by his question, her eyes widening in surprise. She fell silent for a moment before starting to respond, but Aisam cut her off sharply.

"Don't answer with a question. Have you not noticed your condescending behavior?" His serious tone and emotionless expression hinted at his frustration.

Ellie sighed heavily, looking straight ahead before finally speaking, "I'll answer, even if it's not what you want to hear..."

"Everything in the universe happens for a reason," she began slowly, her eyes showing a hint of sorrow.

She spoke as she tightly clenched her fist, a subtle tension in her body language. "And my reason is..." She hesitated before confessing, "I thought of using you for revenge on humans.

Because, let's be honest, gods don't intervene when humans harm each other, even if it ruins their world." Ellie's conflicted emotions weighed heavily in the air around her. She nervously fidgeted with her clothing, unsure of how her words would be taken.

Ellie looked down and whispered, "I just wanted revenge. To end one life. But I'm not cold-hearted." Her voice cracked with guilt and fear as she glanced up.

"You must hate me now," she said softly, shoulders slumped, hands fidgeting nervously, tears on the verge of spilling from her eyes, silently pleading for understanding.

Aisam looked puzzled and lifted one eyebrow in thought as he considered the situation. He gently placed his hand on her forehead to show he was thinking.

"Could this be another one of her acts?" Aisam whispered to himself, sounding doubtful. "I always suspected she had a hidden agenda," he added, sounding more unsure as he continued. "But this... it seems too minor to be true if she's telling the truth."

Aisam's eyes narrowed slightly, showing his increasing suspicion, "I would be willing to do that for you if it benefits me," he thought. "Even back on Earth."

As Aisam thought about her acting differently, he sighed and felt frustrated. He felt confused and couldn't stop thinking about it.

Standing quietly in the elevator, Aisam looked ahead through the clear door. He watched the elevator go up, fascinated by the modern technology and relaxed.

With a thoughtful look on his face, he considered starting a new life in this easy and abundant place.

"I think I could make a comfortable life for myself here," Aisam thought, imagining the opportunities ahead. Remembering his boring life on Earth, he understood the need to form a strong bond with Ellie, who had helped him get here.

Aisam's expression changed slightly. He nodded subtly, promising to observe more before making a life-altering choice.

Aisam noticed that Ellie looked sad and understood how she was feeling. "Hey, don't worry, it's not like you to be awkward," He said kindly, trying to make Ellie feel better.

Aisam made eye contact with Ellie and continued, "I can't dislike you for something so small." He gently put his hand on Ellie's shoulder to show that he cared and empathized with her.

"If you think you're bad for wanting to gid rid of just one person, then you must be the kindest person in the world," Aisam finished with a gentle smile.

Ellie looked at him for a moment and then swiftly moved toward the elevator's touch screen. She swiped so quickly that Aisam couldn't follow, and the elevator shot upwards at a speed fifteen times faster than before.

Aisam, unable to move due to the elevator's rapid ascent, had a seat belt automatically deploy from one side of his chair to the other, keeping him from falling forward.

He looked to his left and noticed Ellie had turned her armchair away from him. He asked, "Did I say something wrong?" and leaned in while tapping his fingers on the armrest.

On the other side, Ellie sat on her chair facing away from him, her heart beating fast. Breathing heavily, she felt tense, holding her chest tightly to calm down.

Her hands grasped her skirt tightly, knuckles turning white as she struggled to contain her emotions. "That's what he said," she said, her voice a mix of vulnerability and anger.

"If you find yourself labeled as cold-hearted for harboring the desire to eliminate just one despicable individual, then you possess a remarkable purity unmatched by any other being in the vast expanse of the universe."

...

As they exited the elevator and stepped onto the floor '9999,' anticipation weighed heavily in the air. The atmosphere crackled with a sense of importance as they made their way toward the meeting place with the esteemed elders of the Celestians.

With each step echoing down the hallway, the tension grew. The clinking of the guards' red and white steel-like armor filled the space, standing out against the modern design.

As they neared the huge gate to the elders' chamber, two powerful Celestian guards stood by the gate, their muscles visible beneath their armor. They looked imposing and demanded respect, with unreadable expressions behind their stern masks.

In a synchronized display of authority, the two guards locked eyes for a fleeting moment before turning their gaze toward Ellie and Aisam.

With a thunderous voice that resonated through the chamber, they shouted in unison, "Miss Ellie, The Virtuoso Arbitrex, is entering with the human who understands the Celestian language!"

At the same time, the guards swung open the huge gate with one strong movement, marking the start of an important meeting.

Walking behind her through the towering gate, he couldn't stop noticing how she easily earned the respect of those around her. Her confident and poised demeanor made him question if "The virtuoso" was a fitting nickname for her.

Inside the grand hall, Aisam's gaze wandered to the five Celestians seated atop luxurious thrones on the elevated platform. Each elder exuded a distinct aura of power and authority, reflected in their regal posture and the way they held themselves.

"Greetings, Supreme Elders," Ellie began in a respectful tone, her voice carrying a touch of reverence as she knelt on one knee before them. With a graceful bow, she added, "I have returned safely from my mission and brought a human who speaks our language—an extraordinary encounter during my journey."

Aisam, noticing Ellie's deferential gestures, swiftly mirrored her actions with a sense of humility. He followed, kneeling beside her and bowing in silent acknowledgment of the Elders' presence and authority.

The Celestian in the middle, a graceful woman dressed in white and blue with blue jewels, gave a small smile to Aisam. Her long white hair flowed down her back while she sat with a calm grace. Despite being titled elders, they seemed youthful with an otherworldly charm. She looked at Aisam with curious eyes and an elegant posture.

On the left side, two Celestians were sitting together. The adult female had shiny black hair and eyes like the night sky. She wore a black outfit with black jewels and feathers, and she gently tilted her head towards Aisam with a soft yet seemingly sinister smile on her lips.

Next to her, the male Celestian had intense crimson eyes. He nodded in acknowledgment, wearing dark clothing adorned with small black jewels. His striking red eyes suggested a depth hidden beneath his calm exterior.

To the right of the main person, two other Celestians sat elegantly. They had golden features similar to Ellie's.

The adult woman and man had splendid blond hair, eyes shimmering like gold, and wore white and gold clothes that showed their refined taste. They watched Aisam with a hint of suspicion but remained graceful and composed in their movements.

Poor Ellie was heart broken!
