In the Whispering Woodlands, a young man named Li Tian stealthily maneuvered through the dense forest. He was an Outer Sect disciple of the Celestial Wind Sect, garbed in a deep indigo robe adorned with golden trimmings. The back of his robe displayed the image of a majestic silver-colored eagle soaring through the clouds, its wings outstretched as if harnessing the power of the wind.

"The Whispering Woodlands truly live up to their reputation. It has been five days since I entered, and I've already encountered hundreds of demonic and spiritual beasts," Li Tian sighed, his eyes scanning the surroundings with caution. He had ventured into this perilous place with a specific mission in mind—to slay the Azure Lion of Qi Condensation Stage 5 and acquire its beast core and the Azure Essence Crystal.

"If not for the Misty Gale Sword that enhances wind-based attacks, I would not have taken on this mission. But now, with my cultivation as a Qi Condensation Stage 5, I am now confident. " Li Tian muttered to himself, his determination evident in his eyes.

Lost in his thoughts, Li Tian's attention was suddenly drawn to a structure in the distance.

"A tower? Here, in the Whispering Woodlands? Who could be foolish enough to build such a thing?"

he wondered aloud, his curiosity piqued.

Intrigued, Li Tian cautiously approached the tower, revealing its appearance in the full light. It stood at a medium height, covered in moss, with dark red streaks resembling dried blood adorning its walls. The tower emanated a haunting and desolate aura, captivating Li Tian's imagination.

Etched into the center of the tower was a weathered board with the words "Desolate Abyss" inscribed upon it. Li Tian's eyes widened as he read the name.

"Desolate Abyss? This place seems ancient and dangerous. Could it be a hidden inheritance left behind by an immortal?"

His excitement building, Li Tian deliberated on his next move.

"Should I take the risk and explore this mysterious dungeon, or should I report its existence to the sect?" Thoughts raced through his mind as he weighed the potential rewards and dangers that awaited him within.

After careful consideration, Li Tian made his decision. "I shall explore the Desolate Abyss myself. It is a high-risk endeavor, but the potential rewards are equally high." With a firm resolve, he grasped his heart, steeled his spirit, and stepped towards the entrance of the tower.

The entrance consisted of two massive doors with intricate carvings depicting intertwining dragons formed from flowing blood. As Li Tian pushed open the doors, a sudden vortex of darkness enveloped him, pulling him into the unknown depths of the Desolate Abyss.
