Chapter 71: The Deal

Sorry this is so late, I lost inspiration again and my internet went out for a few weeks, so I couldn't upload even if I wanted to.

Waking up for the day Ken Hai went through his morning routine, while traveling.

First he brushed his teeth, ate his breakfast, disinfected his entire body, and check the progress of his projects.

Multiple floating screens could be seen infront of him as he sat up on his bed.

"Good look like things are starting to get in place." he said as the progress reports were zooming by at incredible speeds.

He smiled, soon he'll be able to make a safe place for mortals, he'd be able to atleast deal with their suffering.

No more families will have to suffer under the prideful ass hats called cultivators.

He doesn't care what it takes but, he'll change this shitty dog eat dog for the better.

Soon a knock came to his door causing him to dismiss his holo screens.

"Ken Hai may I enter?" said Si Lan from behind the door. "Uh? Sure."

She steps in and looks around the room. "It's clean? Even the bed has been arranged?" she said confused. "What? I tend to clean up after myself."

"It's nothing. My master has simply informed me that the Sect Lord wishes to see you." says Si Lan.

"I see alright then lead the way." says Ken Hai as he got on his jacket.

A few minutes later Ken Hai finds himself infront of the Sect Lord, Si Xiong.

"Ken Hai greets Sect Lord Xiong."

"It's a honour as well. Do you know why I brought you here?"

"For a business transaction?" said Ken Hai the man nodded. "If it's not obvious. We'd like to make a connection with you, what is it you desire?"

"I'm not very interested in money, I have plenty from selling my pills and sharing my findings, but what I am interested in...is battles." says Ken Hai with a certain fire burning in his eyes.

Hearing this the Sect Lord couldn't help raise an eyebrow in confusion.

Initially he was about to propose Si Lan's hand in marriage, but now he knew, women were nothing but a second thought to him.

He was simply a battle maniac.

The sect Lord internally sighed, a part of him disappointed, he won't be able to permanently tie down Ken Hai it seems.

A few of his sworn brothers were like this. They only time they even looked at women is try when they were trying to make an heir or if they were strong.

But at least he may be able to form a deal with the youngman in front of him.

"You would like to trade moves with all our your strongest disciples?" said the man and Ken Hai nodded his head.

"If that isn't too much trouble Sect Lord Xiong."

"That is fine, just don't go too far."

Ken Hai smiled.

Later and the word of Ken Hai's deal reached the ears of the top five strongest disciples. Two of which were Si Men and Si Lan.

Si Men heard the news from his mentor who was an elder.

He'd be fighting Ken Hai.

He internally smirked. This might be a good chance to show him up and impress Si Lan.

He'd never let some fifteen year old brat take what's rightfully his.

"Elder brother Hui did you hear! The genius is Ken Hai is here!" says Len Shu right now he was wearing white and blue robes the usual Tyrant Sword sect colours.

"Ken? Why does name sound so familiar?" thought Len Hui.

"Oi, Si Hui didn't this youngmaster here tell you and your little brother to bring me a drink?" says a cultivator sitting on bench with five others, his name was Si Kuanji.

He's a fellow dorm member of Len Hui now named Si Hui. Len Kuanji is the strongest in his dorm with his power, he immediately dominated and became the boss.

His strength isn't a good as the top five, but he's just below them.

"Ah! I'm sorry senior brother Kuanji it won't happen again!" says Si Hui with a bow as he went off to find some food.

This sight was quite common, compared to Kuanji, Si Hui was nothing. he was scared of being beaten down.

Somewhere in Si Hui's heart he thought that maybe coming to this sect was bad idea.
