Walking down a grassy pathway was Ken Hai, playing his video games beside him was Ignis and Fenrir.
However they were much smaller and cuter than usual. He bought a skill stone known as chibi mode.
It's not really suitable for combat as it lowers a person's overall battle power by half. However it improves the recovery rate of a person when injured.
So he won't bother using it unless the situation calls for it. He knows it due to the connection he has with his Ignis and Fenrir.
'The capital should be a couple days ahead.' thought Ken Hai he's planning on visiting the capital.
Normally it would take a couple of weeks to reach the capital due to the bullshit cultivation sizes and distances.
But due to being a martial grandmaster he is incredibly fast.
Pocketing his game he stopped as a couple men can out with of hiding with smiles on their faces.
Without a word Ken Hai took out his upgraded Way wind Wolf. The sword now looked mechanical and it no longer had the curve it once had.
But as soon Ken Hai fully revealed his sword a green glow appeared around the blade and morphed into the shape of the blade seemingly as if it extended itself.
"Hey Elder brother isn't this youngster quite good looking. Before we kill him can I have a bit of fun first?" Hearing that my expression became even colder.
"Hehehe! Little brother why don't you hand over everything you have. This uncle here is-!" Ken Hai immediately beheaded him in a single stroke.
The other bandits seeings this immediately knew they messed with some one they shouldn't have and tried running.
Keyword tried, multiple blue formation circles appeared, each circle fired a beam concentrated water, it was so powerful it tore through them and them like a knife through butter.
"I should really stop using my sword for fodder." When Ken Hai mentioned upgrading everything he meant everything.
Even the lightning spear he has got an upgrade.
"Though I wonder why bandits are here? Isn't this supposed to be a relatively safe route?" Thought Ken Hai then he scanned the bandits.
They were working for the dark guild. The mission was to kill the merchants coming from the different city's wanting to sell their goods to the Capital, Dragon Wing City.
This was a plot happening in multiple other places they were trying to cripple the economy, this isn't just happening in the Raging Wind Empire but others as well.
And you might be curious what is the reason why they attacked Ken Hai. It was simple frustration, it was tiring waiting everyday for merchants.
So they wanted to blow some steam by killing and torturing Ken Hai.
Though another thing happened, it turns out their was a rune on the leader, well a formation.
It was a life status formation, it tells who died and not only that who killed said person.
Which means Ken Hai entered the Demonic sects hit list
"It seems, I can deny it no longer. I'm a cultivation protagonist." said Ken Hai as he looked up to the sky tears rolling down his eyes.
He closed his eyes as a smile came onto his face.
"DAMN IT!!!" He shouted the frustration could he heard in his voice quite clearly.
-Elsewhere-
Sitting around a desk was an old man with graying black hair, he was focused on a scrolls when suddenly a flash came to him.
"So he died?" the old man muttered. He hummed as he stroke his beard. He wasn't mad his subordinate died, he expected him to fool with a sleeping dragon sooner or later, but not this soon.
Not like he was really important anyway, the nameless bandits job was to disrupt the flow of resources coming to the capital city Raging Wind Empire was only a small country after all they already have a few people in the emperor's inner circle.
Their goal was to take advantage of the state of country by slowly weakening it's economy.
The Emperor like many is an incompetent ruler and so is his first son, the heir.
Having control of a country even though small would prove to be fruitful.
Taking a sip of his tea he smiled, he then took out brush and a piece of paper and begun to scribble something. "Pi Mao." A man wearing black suddenly appeared. "Yes Elder Fu."
"I want your subordinates to watch this youngster. Don't engage him. If he does anything interesting please inform me." said the elder as he gave the man the paper, which had a perfect drawing of Ken Hai.
Not questioning his superior he bowed and disappeared.
