Chapter 50: To the Golden Eye Pavilion!

(AN/I was actually able to reach 50 chapters, I mean I barely started this story so it's given but I never thought I'd come this far.)

*Cr-Crack!* A golden crack appeared on Horus's crimson egg.

"Fenrir?" I looked over to wolf who's currently staring at the egg. I was currently checking the martial beast I captured. I was about to begin experimenting on them I was curious what would happen if i were to remove their martial cores while alive and transfer it to another martial beast.

I walked over to witness the birth of our new companion, soon more cracks began spreading throughout the egg as in a burst of flames of tiny bird appeared it had golden claws and a golden and blue crown on it's head.

It had a Crimson body with a white underbelly, while it had two golden eyes on its wings, which had a golden colour in its tips. (AN/Tried my best describing this guy, so please Google Horus Puzzle and Dragon if you please.)

Unlike what I saw in the anime the bird was tiny and chirping like a little chick I took out a bottle from my inventory and picked him and started feeding. He was small and a bit weak, like Fenrir was. I'll just summon some clones to deal with my experiments and train my skills.

- Two weeks later -

"Good your qi control has come a long way as my first student I'm proud to say your training is complete." I tell Hong Yu who has a small smile on her face. "Thank you Master Ken." She bows. "No need for that we're no longer student and master just call me Ken Hai from now on."

"I see then if your okay with it." She replied.

"Oh by the way Hong Yu, have you heard of Fa Ken?" I asked her. "Yes he's one of my classmates, we don't interact much but he's one of the pavilions top ten stuthought

I guess Fa Ken is more of a big shot than I thought. "I see I'd like to visit him, if you may it won't be a problem if I joined you." I asked her. "It's fine Mas- I mean Ken Hai, you may join us we leave in tomorrow at dawn!" She bows and was about to leave "Wait! Here this for you and your parents." I gave her box containing some food I made.

Seeing this her eyes widened and sparkled like stars as drool ran did her mouth. She immediately grabbed it and thank me before running off with it. I simply teleported to my lab and head to one of the training rooms.

In it see Horus shooting blast of flame towards different targets some moving some aren't and some shooting laser beams like the ones Vegeta trains with. Fenrir was watching from a distance. "Training room off." I say as the machines stop. Horus which I named Ignis then flew towards me, he's gotten a lot bigger than when he was born.

That's to be expected after I fed him alot of food to supplement his growth neck even Fenrir has been growing as day by day he's getting closer to teacher his mother's size.

"Alright Ignis it's time we try our new cultivation technique. I told him, the bird understood human language as did most monsters in the Puzzle and Dragon universe and not to mention Gods, yes God's exist in that world.

Anyway I found out if you remove a martial beast beast core it'll become crippled, it'll still be able to use qi but it'll be weakened for a while, some died while others recovered. I still don't have answers why.

When I added beast cores to other beasts some developed the ability to use different elements however it took days until any showed signs of change, some beasts body even rejected the martial core as they died, one of such is when I added a water beast core to A fire type beast. I can only guess it's due to them being opposing elements and some being different species.

"All this experimenting is becoming repetive." As I took a seat. I decided after I visit Fa Ken I'd start cultivating again and start travelling. I'm tired of being hooked up in one place.

The next day I met up with Hong Yu and couple guards along with her personal maid and finally left Red Iron City.
