POV of Sir.Jerad..

My master was acting weird..

After he woke up from his injury he never talked about the Count or the gambling house that he like to visit every second day....

If he was normal then by now he would have taken the whole mansion on his head by complaining about the Count by now..

He would have beaten some of the servants to take out his frustration..

But unlike his usual self he was acting calm and collected.

For the past four days when I was preparing for the journey to the Cornard Duchy..he just spend his time enjoying food and teasing the young maid...

Is this because he faced death so close that he lost his mind ?..

Ten day's later.. Kark Village.

Why does he want to stay in this desolate region for some kind of fairy tale...

And even if the fairy tale is true why is he so obsessed by this treasure..it's not like he is poor or somthing...

He already had treasures beyond commen sense..

Why go for treasure hunting like some kind of money grabber Mercenary...

Is he not afraid of assassin send by Countess ?...

Sigh...

Even though I look after him for such a long time I still don't understand why all these nobles always act so unpredictably..

Outside the small cave entrance..

So is the fairy tale real ?

I don't know~ but I still used a little bit of aura and made a new passage to fit me and young master...

After I made the new entrance we passed the area that I destroyed and reached the inner most part of the cave were I could see a alter and a shiny mana crystal..

Is this the legendry treasure ?

Well..

If I have to say then it was quite disappointing...

I am not saying that such big mana crystal was not expensive...actually it was quite rare and worth several million gold coins...

And for a adventurer / commoner this was huge amount that could settle his/ her life for good..

But...for a person like my master who had billions of gold coins and several mana crystal mines from were he could dig out such crystals as much he wants.., this kind of rare mana crystal was just some kind of shiny rock...

" Is this mana crystal ?" I asked..

Not wanting to believe that this was the final treasure I asked him whether this it or not...

But ignoring my words young master kept on walking...

Sigh..

After going so much trouble to reach this place he must be feeling like a victim who just got pranked by a scammer..

' He must be embarrassed ' I thought

I didn't ask any other question and followed him silently....

We were just 20 meters away from the mana crystal when I got surprise by a sudden emergence of the earth elemental being...

Protecting the young master I slashed the elemental being with my great sword but Unlike my prediction the elemental being was stronger then any high tier magical beast...

So according to my judgement the elemental being was near the level of Rank 6 warrior...

I have to take this fight seriously...

" Young master move back I will deal with this monster "

I thought hearing my word he would move back but not at all listing to my words he kept on moving forward...

' Does he have a death wise ' I was irritated...

Even though I didn't like what was going I suppress my anger and kept the aggro of the elemental being on my self...

No matter how angry I was.., I have to protect that stupid master..

My fight with the elemental being kept on getting fiercer when suddenly a bright light shown from the alter were my young master was standing...

What the F##**k..

Infront of my shocked gaze.., the stupid master that I was cursing inside my mind..Suddenly started growing and turned in to a Titan made up of solid rock..

It was double the size of the elemental being I was fighting just now...

" Aaaaahhhhhhhh " Roar.

The whole mountain trembled under its mighty roar...

Even under the protection of Flame Aura blood was coming out of my ears...

' Is that thing really my stupid master? '

After its mighty roar the big Titan turned its head towards me.. I don't know whether he was conscious or not..

Looking at those two empty whole socket in the huge head of the Titan..I felt chills in the back of my spine...

I was sure this Titan was atleast at that level of strength or how could I feel more threaten by this Titan then the grand duke of Cornard..who was a Rank 7 Aura cultivator...

The titan raised its hand

Boom..

And crushed the tiny elemental being in a single strike....

Gulp...

' Did my stupid Young master reach the level of the 9 Overload who ruled the whole Union alliance.? '

If what I was thinking was true then wouldn't it be similar to those fairy tales where the dirt power girl marries a prince and become the empress of the kingdom..?

Was I witnessing such fate changing encounter?..

Once again standing straight the Titan looked at its own hand and soon infront of my own eyes the colossal Titan started shrinking...

The transformation that changed a human being in to a monster was getting reversed..

The body of hard rock and dirt was returning back to its original self..

After waiting for few seconds the Titan vanished from my vision and on its place only my old stupid young master remained...

Sigh~

' I think my old age is getting to me '
