Carl's scheme-2.

The entire hall was left with only four of them. Theo was lying on the stone table. Kaiser and Jian were standing near the throne. The pressure emitted by both of them was immensely fierce and filled with dense killing intent.

Mary snorted. She was not able to hold back anymore upon seeing Carl in dragon form.

Mary no longer cared about anything in a fit of rage over losing her son.

She raised her claw intending to slash on the head of Carl. She spread her wings which made her fly in the air and strike Carl, she jolted towards him.

Carl saw her claw coming towards him, then he raised his claw to block it.

BOOM

A wave of strong wind created the clash of their claws. it produced a reverberating sound that made the walls of the hall collapse.

They continued to clash with their claws. As they continued, the shock waves created from both their collision, the entire hall crumbled to rubble.

BOOM

Mary dragged her tail and slashed toward his head of Carl and this threw Carl to the ground. The ground was cracked like a netted web. As soon as he was slumped to the ground, Mary drew in a large amount of breath.

She breathed out a line of blazing fire toward Carl. The fire was too intense, it may even melt the surroundings.

Woosh swoosh

Carl suddenly saw the fire coming onto him, then a haze-like smoke formed around him. Within seconds, a huge wall of ice was formed in front of him trying to block the incoming blazing hot fire stream.

Booom

The baking fire hit the ice wall. Mary continued her breath, it was shooting at the ice wall.

Crack

The ice wall started to crack and the fire broke was dissipated after the impact.

Jian was in a daze looking at the battle. The power both of them extruded was unimaginable and released waves of destructive pressure. The massive court hall was already crashed to the ground. Now the fight between the two of them was witnessed by the entire imperial capital. Jian had an idea about the power level of Mary, but others were quite shocked to see Carl parring the attacks of Mary.

Kaiser looked at the both of them in astonishment. He had not seen Mary in action, not at least a dragon fighting. He was observing both of them and their attack patterns.

Mary was heaving heavy breaths as she released continuous fire breaths. She stayed at a certain distance from Carl and was looking at him covered in a haze of smoke.

The smoke slowly cleared off, revealing Carl standing on his limbs. They were not even a scratch on his body after taking the hit.

This made everyone surprised. How was he able to withstand that kind of attack? In the first place, How was he this strong?

These doubts rolled in their heads looking at the unaffected Carl.

"I can see the look on your faces clearly. How am I this strong?"

He looked at Mary and he grinned. "This fruition of the training for several years. I have prepared for this day for almost decades and kept waiting for the right opportunity."

He roared into the air. "My time has come at last. Today will be the day I will ascend to the throne."

Carl stood on his legs. His wings fanned out on either side. Then he raised his right claw.

Then a few of the soldiers came running toward Jian and Kaiser. They surrounded both of them.

Jian and Kaiser stood with indifferent expressions.

Some of the soldiers surrounded others who were standing beside them. These people were the members the supporters of Mary.

"You fucking bastard! If you lay even a hand on them. I will fucking kill you!" Mary cried in anger. She had never expected that Carl would move this fast in his schemes.

At this time, Mary has now seen Kaiser. Until now, she was fuming with rage and ignored everything and set out to kill Carl by means necessary. Now that Mary has seen him, she has realized the danger Kaiser might be in.

The only one standing between him and the throne was Mary. She knew that very well. But she didn't expect him to kill everyone related to her. Even Kaiser who was unrelated to all of this was now involved in this.

Mary sent a message to Jian to protect them and Kaiser but it was too late.

The soldiers had already started killing them. Now only Jian and Kaiser were left.

"I can't leave anyone who is related to you. Everyone has to die today." Carl said while letting out a sinister laugh.

In this empire, among the dragon race, the strong rule everyone, and the strong ones will make or break the rules as they see fit. Carl was holed up for many years strengthening himself.

Jian was standing with Kaiser behind him and they were no hint of panic or fear on his face. It was as if he was ready for this situation.

He brought out his sword and glanced at Mary.

As Mary was worrying about Kaiser. Carl's body was fuming with blue light all over. It was a chilling ice aura that made the surroundings freeze.

The chilling sensation carried a sharp killing pressure, that if one felt it they would shiver from fright.

"You don't have the luxury to worry about some weaklings," Carl said with a sarcastic laugh.

"Bastard!" Mary cursed. She then gathered her breath and let out a line of fire shot at Carl.

This time Carl breathed out, and a line of ice frost shot toward the fire.

BOOM BOOM

Both fire and ice met and resulted in a huge explosion.

Mary not giving him the chance flew over to him. Then Carl flew up. Now both of them were levitating in the air. They sparred with their claws. Each time they blow met, it produced a wave of wind.
