Chapter 24: Demonstration

Hijiri began his demonstration starting from the jutsus.

(Hijiri): "I will start with the A-rank jutsu. Its name is Rasengan. Clan leader Ashina, if you may provide some training dummy."

Ashina nodded to one of his subordinates, who made some quick hand seals and slammed his hands to the ground. "Earth Release: Growing Pillars"

Seven rock pillars rose from the ground. They weren't overly big but with the same height and width as a normal person. This showed the user's great mastery of the jutsu.

Hijiri nodded to the ninja in appreciation. Then he started running toward the dummy and, just as his palm was going to hit the rock, he created the Rasengan.

The rock pillar was completely obliterated. Hijiri turned back and showed the swirling ball of chakra in his hand: "This jutsu is the pinnacle of shape transformation. It has top-notch destructive ability and if you could add an element to it it could even become an S-rank jutsu."

Ashina and the others were impressed by the destructive power of the jutsu and the fact that no hand seals had been required for its formation.

(Hijiri): "Now I will show an offensive wind jutsu: Vacuum Bullets"

He performed some rapid hand signs, took a deep breath, and then released a high number of small blasts of wind that riddled four of the remaining six pillars with holes.

Ashina and the others nodded, satisfied: this was indeed a high-grade wind jutsu.

(Hijiri): "The last one is called Shadow Clone Jutsu. It permits the user to divide one's chakra and create physical clones of oneself. They not only be very useful in battle but also help during training. Shadow clones when dispersed transfer back their experience to the user. The only drawback is that they also bring back mental fatigue. This though can be mitigated by your clan's high vitality."

(Ashina): "These are all remarkable techniques, especially the first and the last. But now let's move to the most important part."

(Hijiri): "Of course. I will now show you three different swords created with the S-rank method I will trade with you.

Here they are the Blast Sword, the Thunder swords, and the Piercing Blade."

With four poofs the four blades appeared from HIjiri's storage scroll. He decided to not show the Executioner's blade and the Wall-breaking blade. He didn't fancy destroying the first blade and then letting it absorb blood only to show how it worked to them. As for the second blade: it was only extremely sturdy, with the axe being very sharp.

Hijiri then showed how every blade had some special properties that made them unique.

Blast Sword: extremely sturdy, so much so that it remains unscathed even though it continuously causes explosions. It also automatically reloads the explosive tags on the blade.

Thunder Swords: they are sharp, sturdy, and conduct lightning chakra extremely well. They also can be used from afar as they can levitate on their own.

Piercing Blade: it is very pointed and allows one to pierce through a person with ease. The wire seems to be able to become long or short and to be able to stitch to objects by the will of the user.

(Hijiri): "These are only an example of what you can do with this method. And depending on the ore used I am sure you will be able to create even more impressive weapons."

(Ashina): "I am convinced. Your jutsus and S-rank method will be very useful to our clan. In exchange, I will allow you to learn our fuinjutsu without restriction. I warn you though, that learning fuinjutsu is not something to be taken lightly. It requires dedication and talent to master it. I will also not allow you to take the scrolls out of the clan. I will also assign you a teacher and provide accommodation. Is that okay with you?"

(Hijiri): "Perfect! Thank you, Leader Ashina."
