"BRO, are you really not going back at your house?" Rafael asked annoyed when he came at his guesthouse where he was caving in.
He shook his head and changes the channel of the television in that room. He didn't even know that a guest room should have its own television.
Since the day Friday left her at the resort, when he came home, he felt different staying there without her. Every corner of his house has a memory of her and he hated it. It just made him missed her more and more. Then she heard that she went back to Pampanga without even talking to her.
So, he decided to invade his brother's house. Rafael was the safest, because he was the youngest, plus, he is also single.
"I don't know what your agenda is, bro. Why you don't want to go home, but this is not you. Is this your way of missing someone?"
"I don't miss someone." He continued changing the channel.
"Stop that, are you trying to destroy my TV? Dustin told me to kick you out of here and make you go back to your house. You also are neglecting your bar. You said that is your life. So what happened now?"
Even the bar counter reminded him of Friday. Even the private room. So he also avoided those parts.
"Fine. I'll stay at the hotel then." He stood up and about to leave when Rafael talk again.
"Oscar banned you at the hotel and other cabins. We changed the code at the Secret Cabin. So, you have no choice but to go home."
"No. I don't want to go home! I'd rather sleep in the shore than to go back in there."
"And why?" Dustin and the others were at Rafael's living room, like they are just waiting for him to come out.
"O, hola hermanos." He raised his hand and sarcastically greeted them. "I was not inform that we have a gathering now, what's up?"
"Stop kidding around, Kevin. Anthony thinks more mature than you. What's going on with you?" Javier said seriously.
"Me? Nah, I'm fine." He sat beside Oscar.
"No, you're not. You're life is at your bar and you won't let change it for anything else. But, what are you doing now?" He just glared at Rafael because he's being talkative now.
"Look. I'm fine. Really. I just can't go back home yet. Okay?"
"Why?" Oscar asked too.
"Is it because of Friday? You reminded of her when you're at own house, right? Because you brought her there. I won't imagine what you did in there, but you both stayed at your house for the whole weekend. You went out on Sunday and had a fight at the resort because of what she wears." Dustin said very detailed.
"Whoa! Where did that came from?"
"We have source." Javier replied.
"Of all people, why Friday?"
"I don't have any bad intention for her, Dustin." He answered with a sigh. He can't hide anything from them anyway. "I also don't know what happened or how it happened. We were both sober and sane when we did it. We were aware of each other, so I know, and I can say, that it was not a drunken mistake."
"It's just confusing how you both got closed instantly while you were avoiding her before." Oscar again commented.
"I just tried to avoid her because I am already attracted to her and he got a boyfriend that time. I don't want to ruin her relationship. If I get closer to her, I might force her to be with me."
"Okay. That was before, and now that she's single, you tried to be with her. But, do you like her now?" Javier asked again.
"I don't know."
"See? I told you, that's always his answer." Rafael said again but Javier just made him stop.
"You got furious of those men who were checking on her at the resort, that's why you got mad at her. You wanted to punch those men, but instead, you yell at Friday." Javier point-out again. "Which is not you, bro."
"I know, and for the record, I didn't yell at her, not at first, I guess."
"Someone says you were arguing and yelling at each other." He again glared at Rafael.
"We are just concern with you, bro. You're not like this. You had a fare share of girls but you never got jealous and over protective with them. You even wanted to flaunt them to everyone, like showing that you got a hot girlfriend." Oscar added.
"Friday is different."
"How so?" Javier asked.
"Just different. I don't want to share her to the world."
"Do you miss her?" Dustin finally asked.
"Like hell." He finally admitted.
"Then why not go and get her?" The four said in chorus.
"I can't. He is still in love with her ex. How will I be able to fight the ten years of their relationship? I may say that I'm better in bed, but that's not enough."
"Of all the things that you can brag, you chose that one?" Rafael commented in awe.
"Ten years that was ruined by the guy himself. I think you also knew about that."
He nodded. "That's why she's still in her fragile stage. Maybe she's not in her right mind when she tried to seduce me too. Maybe she just want to let go of some steam, by... you know."
"That's not the Friday that we know of. Even she was that stressed at work, she can still think straight. Plus, they've been long broke up. Do you think she will still accept that guy after what he did to her? I think she already moved on from him. Is that it, bro? Are you just going to let her go? Are you going to give up that easy? Where's the egoistic and full of confidence Kevin Redwood that we know? That every woman can fall into his charm? Don't tell me, he's gone?" Dustin remarks.
"He's right. And are you really going to give up now that you already get her everything? If he doesn't want to be with you, then she should have run away from you the morning she woke up in your bed, and stop meeting you while she can. But you've been with her for two weeks." Javier added.
"Bring back our jolly brother, who always charms every woman in the world. Do it to ate Friday until you got her back." Oscar cheered him too.
"I'm always with you, bro." Rafael added and raises his hand.
He just smiled at them. Kevin was aware of his egoistic self. But is he that charmer? Because he's not aware he was. He loses that confident when he didn't get the woman he… loves?
