It took Geth and the others almost three weeks to tame the rampant energies within his Bulwark. A magnificent palace now surrounded the once desolate throne room!
Thousands of empty rooms lined the magnificent marble halls. Red carpets ran across the floors, and ornate designs were etched into the tile ceilings.
Geth didn't feel most of it necessary, but Ro-Zek had grown quite fond of flashy things and material possessions over his many lives. The Slime's fondness for elaborate items stemmed from his years of research into ancient history.
The Celestials, Undead, Elves... They all lived in grand palaces covered in defensive or offensive Runes. Some even over-embellished these structures to the point where you could drink from the walls or take a cozy nap on the marble floors.
Three weeks was much longer than Geth had anticipated being out of it. He felt that this was primarily due to the spell he'd used to merge Bane and Larz into a single body.
