Discovery ...

Raindrops were hitting the glass on big windows. It was dark in the office, only one small light. I was sitting by the desk still going through the order list I had to finish and send to our suppliers. My whole day was so stressful. I had two exams and so much paperwork here at the office.

I looked on my wristwatch letting a sigh. It was past midnight and I needed to finish this quickly hoping I would be able to get at least a few hours of sleep. Tomorrow is another exam and I had to reread some lessons. I took one last paper and type the list then hit the "send" button

- Finally, it's done!

Stretching my arms and closing my eyes for a second I felt so tired and worn up like never before. Collecting my stuff I headed to the elevator and after waving to security guards I left the building.

The streets were empty and the rain was still pouring so I put on my hoody heading to my bus stop. There were no others on the streets and the town looked deserted.

When I get off at my station it was raining even harder. I pull off my red umbrella and smiled

- My black angel saved me again!

Turning right I decided to take a shortcut but not long after that, I heard someone's footsteps behind me. I speed up my steps and the person behind me speed up to and soon he was right behind me. He grabbed my arm and with the other hand tried to turn me to face him. His face was covered with the mask and I couldn't see him. I tried to move away with all my strength while the fear started to build up in me. My throat was stiff and I wanted to scream for help, after few tries my voice finally came out. That scream scared him and he slapped my face so hard that I fell to the ground. The world started to spin around me and something warm was trickling down my face

-blood!

My eyes were half-closed when somebody appeared and pulled the attacker away from me. All I could see was a black jacket and black snapback on his head. He was taller and stronger and he hit my attacker so he rolled down hitting his left arm. He pulled himself up again and run away holding that arm with another. The guy in black turned to check what happened to me. He came closer and put his palm on my cheek then he lifted me and carried bridal style while my head was resting on his chest. I heard his fast heartbeats - HyeMin! - he called me but I couldn't answer- Baby- his quiet voice sounded like he was holding the tears- My little girl just hang in there.... - I felt so secure in his arms and my eyes closed. Darkness took me...

Waking up slowly. Colors started coming back. I was in a room lying on the bed covered with a blanket. My hand touched the bandage on my forehead. Flash scenes popped up before my eyes. I remembered what happened. Somebody attacked me and my black angel saved me. Yes, that was him I knew that! I heard his heartbeats and his quiet voice filled with emotions... - But where am I ??

I looked around. Never saw that room before. Then I heard quiet knocking on the door and YunRea entered

- HyeMin you are awake!!- She opened the door again and called somebody. A man came in with a stethoscope hanging around his neck.

- This is doctor John- she said and the man greeted me then sat on the bed putting a stethoscope on my chest

- Your breathing sound good now It was all from fear like I assumed. Let me check your head that cut looks deep and it could be a problem if you don't stay still for a few days more.- He cleaned my wound and put a new bandage on it.

- It's healing well but still, you need to keep this on.- I nodded

- Thank you, doctor...

He left and YunRea pulled her chair near my bed

- Are you ok?- She had a worried look and I smiled

- I'm ok! - Holding my hand with one and stroking my hair with the other, she was smiling

- I was so worried sawing you last night... - I frowned

- How did I end up here?- She tilted her head

- You don't remember? You sent me a message to come here fast.

- What? When did I ??- She nodded

- You can't imagine what I felt when I saw you here lying on the bed unconscious and with blood on your head! - Instinctively I touched my bandage

- But whose room is this and where am I ??- YunRea looked confused

- It's Jun's apartment.- My jaw dropped

- Jun's ??!!- She smiled

- He said he saw you lying on the bench near his building...-

I sat in bed and wanted to get up

- Where is he I need to talk to him??- She stopped me

- He is not here, they flew to Japan for a fan meeting. - I left a sigh

- I need some explanations fast!!- YunRea stood up

- Just stay in bed, doctor said you must stay still a few days he is afraid of side effects from that hit you got in the head. He also said If you feel dizzy to take you to the hospital right away.- She wanted to leave but I took her hand

- I don't understand some things here... you said I sent you a message but when you came I was unconscious? - She nodded

- yes... I guess it was like that... maybe you were conscious at that time...- she shrugged and left the room. Closing my eyes I tried to calm myself but my whole inside was alerted. Some thoughts appeared in my head.. one idea tortured me and I had to find out.... was it Jun my black angel? My heart was beating fast, pounding like crazy... could that be him ???

Two days passed and I was still in Jun's apartment. YunRea was with me through the whole time not allowing me to move from my bed. I had to lay and be still but that was driving me crazy. I said it would be better if we just go back to our apartment but she insisted on staying there

- But why I had to stay here?!

- I promised Jun that I will take care of you, also he insisted that we stay here. Doctor John is his family doctor and he will take care of you in case you need him. I crossed my arms like a stubborn child pouting my lips

- Still don't see why we must stay here- YunRea frowned looking at me carefully

- What do you have against Jun anyway?

- I stuttered- No, no... it's not that just.. just I don't think it's ok that we stay here while he is not around and... and... I don't feel comfortable.

She nodded pinning me with her eyes - Oh I see....so it's like that?

- Yes! That is why I think we should get back home! - She leaned closer to me

- Not gonna happen, girl! We are staying here. The doctor said don't move - so you will not move !! I don't want something to happen to you... I can't lose you too!

Hearing her words I realize how worried and scared she must've been.

- Ah YunRea I'm sorry...- I took her hand and then hugged her - So sorry I scared you... I will be careful from now on I promise!! Don't worry I'm ok now. - She sigh

- You were lucky June found you... that cut on your head looks serious...

I felt guilty for not telling her the whole story but first I wanted to find out who is that mysterious man in black. Not knowing why but my heart wanted to keep him as a secret.. those soft lips touching mine .. his quiet voice "baby... my little girl.. "

I let her go and looked at her eyes- Yes I was lucky and I'm so thankful to him...

-Thankful to me? How thankful you are?- He was standing at the door smiling. Wearing a red shirt and black jeans he looked so attractive and I felt my cheeks started to burn.

YunRea left the room to pick up the phone and Jun lie next to me.

I took a deep breath, sudden was not enough oxygen in the room. - What is happening to me? My heart beats fast and his fingers are on my wrist. I was sure he could feel my pulse. But he just kept lying next to me with closed eyes. I notice dark circles below his eyes and he looked really tired. I felt sorry for him. I was so ungrateful. He let me stay here, even gave me his own bed. Why do I always think the worse of him? I looked at him. His calm breathing told me he fell asleep. Long black lashes made shadows on his cheeks and he looked so innocent while sleeping. My eyes traveled across his face freely. He was so handsome with dark eyebrows and soft lips...That look on his lips gave me another torture. Quickly I looked away afraid of my own thoughts and saw YunRea entering. James was behind her but I put a finger on my lips

- Shhh.... -pointing at Jun. She nodded and they went out.

Lying next to him was both- nice and scary. Those new feelings I'm discovering while he is close to me scares me, but my heart flutters when his eyes are on me. They are like black velvet.. soft, gentle and sinful...

He moved his head closer to me and his warm breath tickled my neck... I moved a little watching him

- He must feel cold- I whispered and tried to share my blanket but he was lying on the other side so I couldn't move it. Slowly I get up and went to his closet to look for another blanket. When I opened the nice smell of his perfume touched my nostrils mixed with his personal scent. My fingers touched his shirts hanging in there but I scolded myself and found a blanket on the top shelf. Standing on my toes I reached and while I was pulling something white and fluffy fell down. I didn't look what was it and just went back to cover him then I turned and saw what that was - a white knitted scarf! MY white knitted scarf I had lost on the train that night !!!
