Seems like the heavens above haven't completely turned a blind eye on my life.

Everything is much brighter, much nicer compared to before and I often see a smile on my lips.

With that, I pulled over to my parents' house and pushed the door open. Seeing them seating in the veranda with a peaceful smile on their face warms my heart.

"Ma, Pa, I love you!" I went behind their back and hugged the two of them.

"You! You almost gave us a heart attack!" My mother tsked as she narrows her eyes at me but the affection flowing in her eyes contrasts with her fierce tone.

"Alright, alright, our little girl just wanted to surprise us" my father stroke my mother's back to calm her and ushered us to the living room.

I was about to go to the kitchen and bring some snacks when my mother shouted.

"Aiya! Caia! What happened to your knees?! Quick, get the first aid kit!" My father immediately ran out to get the medicine box.

"I'm fine, I just got scratched-" I was about to stand up when my mother pushed me to the couch.

"Eh! Stop it, clean your wounds first, or else it'll get infected!"

"Here!" My father returned and the two of them huddled to my side and cleaned my wound.

"Aw! Ma.... gentle... Aw!"

"Oh, be gentle to her-"

"You old man, don't be too soft-hearted towards this cunning girl!"

My father went out with a downcast expression making me giggle before moaning in pain and seeing my mother's knife-like eyes.

"And you! Hmph, where are you looking at when you walk huh? Coming in here with bruised and bloody knees, see how I sort you out today!"

I pursed my lips and hugged her waist making her tsked once more. I rubbed my face to my mother's waist and sell Meng at her making her actions soften.

My mother is usually fierce whenever I make trouble and my father would always plead for me. Even so, the two of them had given me the best education, most luxurious products, and let me have a worry-free life but nothing tops their love for me.

"Ma"

"What?" She asked as she gently blows my bruised palm like she always did when I get hurt as a child.

"I'm leaving two days from now"

My mother lifted her eyes in shock but calmed down after seeing my resolute eyes.

"Fine, I don't know what you youngster thinks now, just stay safe okay? Always remember that your ma and pa are here for you"

I nodded at her and looked at the sky, a new day has begun, perfect for a new beginning.

I wouldn't ask for the reason of my chained self, I do need it anymore. I just want to get away from it, not concerning my life into the script anymore.

I would leave and travel the world as I've always dreamed of.

I would taste all the delicacies in the world and engage in different activities.

I would talk to all kinds of people and make friends with them.

Then I'll leave.
