Chapter 21

It was already dark yet the people outside were still active in the night. Countless of people with different backgrounds and personalities have come with one purpose.

A woman in white came exuding a clean and elegant temperament, her five inch nude heels stepped into the cold hard floor of the hotel together with a vibrant and glamorous lady in red.

Together, they each have their own charm but when mixed together create a stunning image.

"Are you Liu Ye and Caia?" The two woman smiled at their class monitor and nodded. "Oh! It's really the two of them! Our class flower are here!"

A mass of people surrounded them, each with glint's in their eyes as they scrutinize each little thing that hangs on their body.

"Yo, it's really them" some guys from afar said while the rest of them smirked in knowing smiles.

"Class monitor" I smiled at the guy with the glasses in front of me, he still looks like an honest young man though I can see that his eyes had been sharpened by time.

"Caia, how are you?"

"Good"

If it was the me in my first life I would be so uncomfortable at the obvious stare of our class monitor, after all he did confessed to me after graduation. Now, I can look at him head straight without getting uneasy.

"Let's end the greeting, let's all sit down! My feet are killing me" I smiled at A'liu and held her hand. She just sent me a wink and all of us sat down the huge circular table.

It didn't take long for us to talk about our high school days. Me and A'liu were indeed titled as one of the school flowers but it never did affect me in my years.

My male classmates, even those in the other class would wait till I finish school and wanted to drive me back home but I would always refuse. Just thinking about it now, I can see that I was a bit popular but it was still unlike his.

If I didn't fell in love with An Yi Wei and instead had a relationship with one of my suitors back then, would something change?

"-ia, Caia!" I was thrown out of my stupor when A'liu shook my hand.

I blink the memories away and look at her in confusion before she tips her head to another direction.

There I saw our class monitor, he had indeed changed. He was just an honest and shy kid back then but now, he no longer hesitates and become bold with his actions.

"Yes?" I softly asked, still smiling embarrassedly.

"No worries, I just wanted to ask something" I nodded and let him continue, I already have an idea. "How's married life?"

Married life?

I don't think I was even married, I was like a permanent roommate, someone who is renting out together with An Yi Wei.

I had never felt that I was married to him, I guess it's because our relationship lacks love.

"Good"

I had met the ambiguous smile from my classmates, their eyes filled with question and knowledge about a matter they think they knew.

It didn't take long for our conversation to end and another topic started. Some of my classmates show off their wealth, some give advices to those who have now children and some were rekindling their past relationships with one another.

As the night deepens and so is our memories, I've been sitting here for the hundred and fifty times, I've seen them a hundred of times and can see the thoughts hidden in their smiles.

Then I felt the familiar sizzle in my brain and I knew it was time. It's time to act like someone again, to do something irrational and embarrass one self.

"I'm going to the bathroom" I informed A'liu and went out of the room.

In my head I was waiting for the awaited event to appear so that I can finish this fast.

Then I turn to my left after cleaning my hands and met a familiar pair of dark cold eyes.
