Red Reign (BL)

"Let's just say... you are a human with longer life span than the rest, you are always bound by the shackles of responsibility in your domain, but one day, you are allowed freedom, you can travel the world, go anywhere and be yourself, be anything for that matter. So you choose to catch up with the rest of the humanity, wanting to learn the changing world...Then one day comes when you meet someone new, the person attracts your attention and he intrigues you. You instantly form this idea that you want that person, you fear that you will lose him one day, so you do everything in your power to get what you want." I gulped, shuffling my feet, "You think Jashuen is the same?" The man smirked, "Now that my dear is what I fear is the issue, Jashuen isn't the same, he is worse than that, his nature itself is like the seven sins reincarnated. And he has his eyes on you. I fear he would stop at nothing to get you." "But I am just a... person, what would he achieve with me?" "Satisfaction. His race loves that."

Friendship?

"You did her well," Sian said with a grin, massaging his bruised neck with a wince, "But you know that we just picked a fight with the fairies?"

I surveyed the historical buildings looming around us, their structures seeming taller and more threatening. Or maybe it was just my head, making everything look more challenging.

"I am screwed aren't I?" I asked him, feeling a little out of it.

"Well something along the lines," Sian shoved his hands into his jacket's pocket, "But you shouldn't worry much, it wasn't our fault that Luer couldn't take a no."

I sighed, running my hands over my face, "What is the next subject?"

"We have to eat first Ruya."

"Then let's head back for the dorms."

--

Our dorm's dinning was vacant, but we could smell the delicious delicacies being prepared for us in the kitchen, since the chimney's tip ended up outside the corner most window of our hall. So we could tell what was for lunch today.

The Academy had a special rule, where they didn't keep staff for any cleaning or cooking activities or for any other activities for that matter, it was all left on the students to take care of themselves. Although, the cook we had for our dorm was actually a graduate of Associates in Culinary Arts. He got paid for his work here and was currently pursuing his masters. But whatever his qualifications, he was a student in the end.

Just like Mark had explained to us, one could do internship within the campus, and get certified for it, because it was very valuable, the experience here.

And I had registered that the cafe we went to, also didn't have adult cooks, but rather they all looked like students. So it was a fact, the whole system was student based, students were running cafes, booths, shops, etc. And the Academy was just paying them for their work, like they did do to the regular staff.

"Sian do you think even the clinics around here are run by graduates?" I asked, once we were both settled in our chairs, waiting for the lunch to get prepared and brought to the table. They had buffet system here, and whatever was left extra after everyone had their meals, the extra was donated to other facilities around the campus. At least that's what Mark had told us. We did not know what other facilities he was talking about.

"The clinics here are run by actual professional doctors," we heard Mark say, as he entered the dinning hall and settled himself opposite us, he was wearing jeans and a big blue shirt, he must have came straight from his class.

"So they don't have medical interns here?"

"They do, but medical field is such where any mistake can be dangerous, so they have hired matured docs under whom the rest of the bodies work."

"And you seem in a rush, you okay?" I asked since I noticed Mark was sweating and impatient.

"Yeah, I have classes in a few minutes, and I have to go back fast."

"Shouldn't they give proper lunch periods, I didn't see any gap in between our classes." Sian mumbled, looking through his phone at something with a deep frown.

"Night crawlers don't need to eat three times or five, even hunters can manage that, since we are trained that way," Mark explained, very casually, "So the academy doesn't has any lunch system. But of course the normal human population that came this year have our cooks making lunches for them, I think the system would change soon, so the schedule we have might also change."

"They should update."

"Yes, but Ruya, I heard some very disturbing news around my block, care to explain why?"

I licked my dry lips, which seemed to be drying a lot since I came here, "Well, maybe a fairy chocked Sian and I retaliated by throwing water at her."

Mark laughed, leaning back instinctively, "Oh man, you really did?"

"Why what did you hear..."

Mark laughed some more, "C-Can't believe you, hahaha"

"I didn't either," Sian shared his input, rather amused by the whole situation, yet I did see his worry hidden somewhere.

"He shouldn't have done that, it will make the Queen angry and in return the rest of her troop. They will started bullying you, harassing you."

"But it was Luer's fault," I whined like a child.

"I know," Mark snickered. "I should have been there to see the whole thing but the things I heard were amusing enough."

"Wow, word travels fast."

"Faster than you can even blink. I heard someone say you even beat the queen, which was ridiculous but you know... word is spreading about you, the name Ruya being the highlight." Mark tried stifling his grin, but he gave himself away anyway, "And I know for sure that the Queen wouldn't settle for just an apology, she would need more from you. Doesn't matter who punched first. You get my point?"

"Well, this Queen is one of the trinity isn't she?" Sian asked when Mark had said his part.

Mark nodded, "That she is."

"But she should have stopped her minion when she could have," I argued, "she delayed the inevitable, she just sat there when Luer attacked Sian."

Night crawlers were hard to deal with and were edgy but from what I saw, the queen was an epitome of arrogance and cunning. Her attitude told me that she didn't care who died, she just thought about herself, she was no leader to me.

"The Queen, Rose, is very brutal," Mark counted his tale, "but she never fights herself, she sits behind the throne and commands her pawns, you would be surprised to learn that her side of team is bigger and grander, the number of people she has manipulated on to her side is massive, and then there are those who are forced to be on her side, that is why whenever any new academic rule is to be passed by the student council, her votes matter, nobody goes against her."

"That's stupid, why do people even take her side, I saw her once and know she is a bitch," I ranted, "I mean she is a fairy, and fairies are known to be brutal but I-"

"But she doesn't kills people does she?" Sian asked with slight hesitation, because I was the target from now on.

"She doesn't, nobody goes against the campus rules, but then there are worse ways of living, this is your first day, but you must have noticed the tension around."

"Not really," Sian snorted, "But if you are talking about fear, than there was that when she walked in our cafe."

"Well, campus bullying is a thing, and with her having the upper hand, with the crowd she has around her, it is no wonder they fear her."

"Wang is also powerful though, isn't he?" I knew I was right.

"Yes," Mark said, but still hesitated, "although, Rose is the sole heir of her clan and her clan has two districts under their name. She is powerful no matter."

I nodded, not really feeling hungry when I saw the dishes getting served, the cook himself did the menial tasks like that, and he didn't seem to tire out, he was fast too. A werewolf if I was to pick.

"Our cook is on our side of things, he won't spill," Mark assured us, since Sian was openly pointing at him with suspicion.

We ate our lunch, the meat specially tasty.

And Mark ate faster, looking a bit worried. When asked why he even came to eat when he could have stayed to see his class, he told us he had forgotten to eat breakfast so he had been hungry.

I could only wonder how someone forgot to eat breakfast.

"See you by five, good luck!" Mark managed and left in a hurry.

I turned to look at Sian when we were left alone, "What class do we have next?"

"History of Arts."

"Let's go," I said, getting up from the chair, but Sian didn't move, his eyes serous.

"What?"

"We need to be prepared if something bad happens, we should be equipped with our tools, and wearing one to class isn't prohibited, I had asked Yuho."

"Fine, but a sword can't be worn, neither a gun, they would look odd."

Sian started to grin, "Come with me, I will show you the trick from back home."

--

We stood in our room as Sian gave me the gloves to wear, it looked odd with my dress so I frowned, "Can't I keep this glove in the pockets?"

"And start wearing them during an attack?" Sian looked amused, "They will hurt you bad if you get distracted."

"Then I won't, don't give me the sword, I will take the gun, plus a sword will look rather bulky and I am not up for embarrassing myself."

"You won't," Sian assured me, "But you are right, a sword is too much, and those gloves don't match."

"So gun?"

He nodded, taking out the guns from my wardrobe, lifting them up and keeping them on my bed.

I watched when he started to mutter some spell under his breath and like magic, the guns evolved to shift into four small rings.

"The guns were crafted with the element of Four Celestial Guardians, not true essence, but one that is rare to find. These four, the Azure Dragon of East, the Vermilion Bird of South, the White Tiger of West, and the Black Turtle of North. Each was the custodian of a season, a cardinal point and an element. To this day, their symbols are used for protection against evil and ill omens. But they are different than my locket, they protect you form evil, but don't hide your presence from them." Sian

gave the long description as if he had it memorized since long back.

"T-They are glowing blue," I observed with interest.

"That they are, but it warns you of evil when it turns charcoal, like when someone wants to harm you, it will know. Remember when I taught you about killer intent?"

I nodded.

"Yes, it can sense their killer intent if that is directed at you, but if they mean no harm, it will stay the usual blue. The more dark it glows, the worse the danger to you."

"So it just warns me, but does not really protects me."

Sian patted me as if proud of my grasping skills, "Yes, so you turn it back when you use it, the spell is a simple 'Redun ser', saying that will be enough to turn it whenever you want."

I whistled with pleasure, "Let me test... Redun Ser!"

I watched transfixed as the small rings pulsed once and started to morph into guns, well all four of them at once.

"But what if I want only one of them to turn?"

"Then just say Redun Ser and bite the ring which you want to change."

"Bite..." I repeated to clear away any doubts.

Sian nodded, "Just remember which gun is used to defeat which enemy, and this thing can kill, so don't use it ever until necessary. I believe just looking at it will warn away the enemy, since generally, such weapons are famous for their name alone."

"Alright, but then which ring is for which species."

"The dragon is for vampires, the turtle for fairies, the bird for wraths and tiger for werewolf."

"I don't know if I will remember it, but the face of this ring alone gives me confidence."

Sian chuckled, "Just don't get too cocky, a cocky you is a bastard who doesn't thinks of consequences."

I groaned and he took pleasure in my distaste.

--

It wasn't long when we left for classes, my rings snug on my fingers. And for a while I did see the interest in the student body when they eyed my glowing rings, which was uncomfortable yet a prideful thing for me.

"The building is the same one which we had left," Sian told me, checking the class schedule and direction in his app, which he just found out about. It actually helped with directions much better.

The history classroom was different, not even matching with the rest of the building, but it appealed to the students. The whole ceiling done with interesting pale yellow patterns on glass and Rose window styles.

The class had the same kind of three people per bench system and both me and Sian were lucky that we got to sit together since we came first.

The whole classroom soon filled up with students, almost amounting to 68, yes I kept the count. And by the looks of it they all looked like freshers to me, the childishness and immaturity showed in the way they talked and laughed. They all didn't know each other yet, but they were definitely trying to converse.

There was nervousness in the air but it did not keep the crowd from mingling.

A guy with pale red hair came to our desk with a smile, he obviously didn't know us, so I concurred he was just trying to catch up and make friends.

"Myself Blen," he extended his had for a shake with Sian, since he sat nearest to the red head, "nice to meet you two, just joined yesterday."

He was smiley, and carried this 'smart guy' look.

"Call me Sian, nice to meet you Blen," Sian introduced himself with a firm shake of hands.

And next I did, "Ruya."

His eyes widened when he heard the name and he hesitated in meeting my hands, his smile faltering, "R-Ruya?"

I nodded, waiting for him to run away, must be the rumors that were spreading about me. Mark was right.

"You won't kill me will you?" he asked fearfully.

I snorted, "If I was the type, I wouldn't be sitting here, I just poured water over her head, nothing else, where did you even hear it."

He sighed, "Sorry, I believe you, it's just I am not really good with bad guys, since I am an omega and all."

Oh, I had heard about it, the omega werewolves were always weaker in physical strength and more kind hearted, so it often caused them harm.

"We have a werewolf roommate Yuho," Sian started, "he is a nerd but he is somewhat a friend, he is kind as well."

I realized Sian was just making conversation, there wasn't any hidden interrogation bite behind his say.

"Oh, then I would like to meet him, I am totally new and I don't know any werewolf yet, I am staying in Mark's Dorm."

I perked up, "Us too, so we can go back together."

Blen smiled, taking up my offer but he was stopped from saying anything further when a female professor entered, banging the door apart, her heels clicking on the tiled floor with each consistent step she took.

She was short, very short and wore a business grey skirt with tucked in blue blouse. Her hair was done in a nice shiny bob cut, showing how much care must have gone into it. The tresses were sleek and not even a strand stood out.

"I am Sensu, and I teach History of Arts." She said with a strict tone, "I would not tolerate misbehavior in my class, nor any late submissions. Is that clear?"

Everyone agreed, all on their seats.

"So starting from the first bench, introduce yourselves."

It wasn't an odd request but the way she towered above us in experience and diligence, everybody knew they had to impress her.

I watched as the students started to introduce themselves, some keeping it short and sweet, some going overboard. But she did not interrupt them, listening to each and every word they were saying.

When it came to Sian, he took the most time in introducing himself, talking about his favorite colour, to the food he liked.

The students were getting impatient but the professor simply acknowledged his words.

And when it finally came to me, I wondered what I will even tell about myself, what was there to say. I was a mafia's son and heir, my brother had ran away from home when I was still young, my father hated my guts and my mother died because of a curse of some kind.

"I am Ruya Seraun," I told her and sat back down.

My name actually triggered some people as they started to murmur behind my back, and those who were still unaware of me, the others made them aware.

But the professor simply nodded, most positively she did not hear about my Luer incident, where I murdered her, or drowned her, I didn't know how bad the rumors were.

"W-Why is he in class?" Some asshole pointed out, his voice quite loud.

And I mentally slapped the guy, if the professor hadn't known before, she knew now that I must be problematic.

"Is there a problem Mr. Fihyun?"

So she remembered his name from his introduction alone?

The guy Fihyun stuttered out the same rumor of me killing Luer but also added the last part where I supposedly chopped her body off. And he continued, "Well I know he didn't kill her, but the rumors are about him, he must have done something. And I had seen Luer once, she was harmless."

He made a point of stating the end part and I knew the guy had a crush on Luer or something.

Sian chuckled next to me, but not loud enough to attract attention to himself, for it was me everyone was looking at.

"Mr. Fihyun," the professor sighed, "I expect better from my students, the rumors can be made up for all you know, and Miss Luer is a fairy, she might not be as innocent if I was to guess."

The statement made everyone halt. A teacher never said anything biased, and it was actually very strange.

I frowned at her, although pleased since she defended me.

"History of Arts isn't a subject where I teach you just the history, you all learn about the night crawlers in depth, since the art originated from their depths of mind. Night crawlers are older than humans, so they have richer heritage. And you should know, that I will go in depth upon each species, so the first lesson you should learn, Fairies aren't innocent, they are carved with malevolence and greed. It is in their nature, but they are also great scholars and artists, great warriors."

"Do you have anything against them?" A snobby voice from the back asked the professor, but the woman simply shrugged, "No, I am stating facts, since I am a fairy as well."

That shut them fast.

--

"I already like Sensu, she is a fairy but not like them." Sian murmured with a grin, recalling the lesson on fairies she gave us. Her class was interesting, as she gave examples from experience, and showed us a few images on projector, which she told us was part of the heritage of her clan. The paintings were all on fairies and their nature.

"I have to say the fairies, they were creative with their art."

Blen, who had been with us all this time as we went back to are dorms, he raised his hands as if he was asking for permission to speak.

"You don't need to do that you know, it's odd," Sian complained, though he was smiling and giggling.

"Sorry, it is a habit I got from my school days, it is persistent." Blen was shy as he said that.

"So you were saying?"

"One of my friend was a fairy, a male fairy, they are actually rare around here, so he often painted with me. It was so cool."

"Did you also chose painting as your major?"

He shook his head, "No but it was my hobby, I am more into sculptures."

"Nice."

--

When we introduced Blen to Yuho, we hadn't expected our nerdy friend to attack the red head. Sian had to struggle to keep Yuho away from the poor sod, it was unexpected.

But after Yuho had calmed down, we were able to sort out the main cause and to our awkward shock, Yuho was an alpha and Blen's omega scent had caused him discomfort, more like arousal, which he stated with a stutter.

I blushed, looking at Blen who was sitting furthest away from us, red as a tomato.

"I am s-sorry, I generally keep myself calm, but you smell too n-nice."

Yuho was really disheartened when Blen sighed angrily, though still flustered.

"That is why I don't like any alpha, you all are the same."

Ouch.

"Okay, so not to be a d*ck, but you two should make friends fast, we don't want awkwardness here," Sian stated as if he was making a point, but he was only making himself look rude.

So as a counter balance, I shoved Sian back to his bed and made myself stand in between the two werewolves. "Let's just introduce ourselves again and Yuho, control yourself this time."

Yuho was really embarrassed, "I am sorry, now that I am somewhat used to his scent, I won't attack, that was shameful of me."

I never knew there was this much trouble between werewolves, but I was kind of starting to see how they worked. And it only made their kind look more respectable in my mind.

"Then Blen?"

Blen wasn't really happy about being attacked, but he gave in, "Fine, I guess we can't help our nature." He made a point of rubbing the junction of his neck and shoulder, were Yuho had apparently tried to bite him.

Yuho looked ashamed, "Sorry, I am not really like this."

And I agreed, the attacking Yuho I registered was all bright golden eyed and feral, the nerd I knew was anything but. Well usually anyway.

Night crawlers ran by instinct usually, so it was dangerous around them.

"So we all are friends?" Sian asked from his bed, looking bored.

"Yes." Blen stated, trying to smile, which was returned by Yuho ten times.

The night came to an end, the dinner eaten, the dorm calming down. Blen had in the end succeeded in making friends with Yuho, and the both of them had literally forgotten about us as they talked to each other. If I didn't know any better I would have thought they were flirting.

Sian had gone to sleep already, but I was restless, father hadn't called but I knew he wanted to be kept updated.

So getting out of my bed, I tiptoed to the door in the dark and left the room as silently as possible.

Once I was outside, breathing in the lonely night, I called my father, though reluctantly.

I could have messaged him, it was better than being listened on, but I needed to talk this time, it felt better knowing what my father had in mind.

The phone ringed for a long time and I had to call again, maybe he had forgotten it on silent mode.

The call was picked up on the second ring and I heard my father's cheerful voice. My dread increasing with each breath he took. He was happy and I was starting to think it was bad. Really bad this time.

"Father, what did you do?"

He chuckled, "The usual."

"Oh." I didn't know what else to say, it felt ominous somehow.

"I would talk to you tomorrow son," he didn't call me from my name, so he was with someone, "I am still in the middle of my dealing, call me tomorrow. Goodnight."

I wasn't going to call him this week, I decided.

I heard the call end and went back to my dorm with a heavy heart. I had only ever heard father this happy when he had ordered his gang to massacre a night crawler town. What did he do this time.

--

My question was answered when Sian crawled into my bed early morning and shook me hard. When I woke up finally from my slumber, he shoved the phone at me.

I took my time to read the news article and by the end of it I was puking my gut out.

It was horrendous, what I read.

The monster of a man, my father, had burned down another night crawler village, tortured its citizens and sold their organs in black market.

An investigative team had been set up against him, just like usual, but I knew nothing was going to happen, nobody would be caught. My father left no open ends.

And to think I was his son, it was too much.

Sian comforted me by staying on my side, as I sat above my own vomit. Yuho was nowhere to be seen and I was thankful for that.

"You cannot let this news shake you Ruya, your-"

"How can you follow this man?" I asked him throatily, "did you even read what he did?"

Sian sighed, lending me a towel, not at all bothered with the acidic sour smell around me, my vomit just there. "I have killed and tortured people too Ruya, I am no innocent."

"But you don't do people dirty like this, not innocent people."

"Just forget about all this okay, and get ready. Keep in mind that the man your father is, is not you. You are not him."

I gave up, "I am not him."

Sian nodded and we started with the day.

--

The academy had heard of the massacre, and since the majority of them were night crawlers, they were seething, angry. And I couldn't blame them, I was angry at my father too.

"This would die out, so don't stress." Sian kept reassuring me, but it did little to calm me down.

Eventually I got tired of hating my lineage and went with whatever class we were having. It was Digital designing and a calm set of computers glared at us as the tall and pale vampire professor, Mr. Renis showed us how to do a particular command in the new software.

The building this time had been different, but smaller. And the furnishings went with minimalist concept, which was new considering the old commons all around.

The class got over soon and we went to another building, the same one where our yesterday's classes had been held.

Time went, as we came back to the dorms for lunch and resumed with the next class.

I was still in a constant state of depression even after the day was over and the next day came in. It was like I couldn't digest how cruel a parent can be.

Another day went by and it was Friday.

Since the marketing shops were closer to the eastern block, we both had ventured into the foreign territory to buy a few utilities.

Sian had told me he was going in the other direction to buy his own stuff, so we broke up, promising to meet by the big oak tree or call each other when we were done.

So I went along the crowded pathway, forgetting myself in my thoughts.

When people heard my name they still got weary due to all the rumors, but it had started to die down just like the massacre news.

The fairies hadn't done anything, and everything was calm.

I looked around at the corners, watching the parallel alignment of walls and doors, most shops had closed down since on Friday they remained closed, but many were still open, and if Yuho was right, the main departmental store was right about the corner.

I climbed the steeper slope, being careful as to not make any eye contact with anyone, I wasn't really up for talking.

Even Blen had sensed my inner turmoil so he stayed in his room, not disturbing us at all. Although Yuho slipped to his whenever he wanted to. I was sure something was going on with them but I wasn't going to ask.

Some argument from ahead made it to me and I stopped to see if it was safe to move. I noticed that a troubled blond guy was threatening another blond guy, who was standing with another blond who was whispering something to another blond. Four blonds together, wow.

For some reason it looked rather odd, but funny at the same time.

I moved ahead, getting a clearer view as I saw a silent guy standing and listening to the one arguing rather loudly about the difference between a pastry and a cake.

I moved ahead, getting a clearer view as I saw a silent guy standing and listening to the one arguing rather loudly about the difference between a pastry and a cake

He looked amused, like almost trying not to judge.

And the one putting up the one sided argument wasn't bothered at all with all the attention he was receiving. He seemed to be enjoying it.

The other two blonds had their backs to me, so I couldn't see their faces, but with the profile alone, I believed they were popular. The confidence in their stances proved it.

The third blond had paler neck, so I assumed he was pale and the other one was slightly tanner than him, but taller with a slim built.

The closer I went, the more cleared they became.

And I did not realize that I had been openly staring at their cult and thinking. So the arguing blond took note of me and narrowed his eyes. "You got a problem with pastries?"

What?

I was about to ignore him and leave the strange fellows behind, but then the other two blonds decided to face me and I was stuck contemplating.

The third shorter blond was the cafe guy, only now he was wearing glasses and not frosty as he was before.

The last blond, thank god, was also handsome like the rest, smart and bold. It made me jealous of them, and I wondered if I could go blond as well, maybe it would make me more confident.

The arguing blond was talking about something, clearly directed at me, but I was busy theorizing if I could ask Sian to go blond with me too and what would be the consequences of it.

My head was starting to hurt with all the blond knowledge and I groaned, flinching back when the snappy blond with extra large shoulder started spouting stuffs at me, his eyes going wide and his words came out in rapid succession, as if he was scolding me.

"...at least say something." he ended his long tirade in exasperation.

I blinked, "Is your natural hair colour blond?"

He blinked as well, not expecting to hear something as stupid as that.

"Have you even been listening to me?" he asked with a deep frown, his eyes wide.

"Not really," I was just wondering why you all are blond, I completed the sentence in my mind.

I saw the cafe guy keeping silent, trying hard to not get himself recognized, but I already had. And why was he even trying to do that.

"Who are you?" The arguing blond asked, very clearly.

"Ruya," I introduced myself, "the human who apparently killed Luer the innocent fairy and chopped her, no dumped her into the lake for the mermaids to eat. Wait," I tried to remember, "No I had her drugged too, before I killed her. The reason why people haven't seen her since."

Well technically they had seen her, that is why the rumor surrounding me had died down, but then it was really funny, the extent to which everyone had started to believe I was a murderer. Well they all knew it was not true, but they enjoyed gossiping.

The one standing next to the broad shouldered guy started to laugh, his eyes even tearing up and he was followed by the taller blond. Only the cafe guy and the shoulder guy stared at me as if I had lost it.

"What are you doing around here?" The cafe guy asked, adjusting his glasses and staring at me directly.

"I came here to do shopping and the next I find myself chatting with a group of blonds."

The cafe guy grumbled, "Mine is close to platinum."

I shrugged, "Same."

"You are funny," the laughing blond said, his voice loud and cheery, "I am Seok."

I smiled at him, his sunshine kind of personality very refreshing. Even the way he talked seemed to make my heart flutter and boost my spirits.

"I am June," the taller one immediately greeted, shaking my hands forcefully when I got distracted with his dimples instead of taking his extended hand.

"I am Aariye," the shoulder blond said, the previous argument he had been doing floating out of his system. He seemed confident, but I cringed when he blew a kiss at me, "Bless you young one," and he talked as if he was super old.

"Stop bothering with him, he brings trouble," the cafe guy said rudely.

"Aww come on Gigi, you don't mean it," Seok retaliated, grabbing 'Gigi's' cheek and pressing them together.

And Gigi as expected, pushed Seok away, clearly not amused. For someone whose name seemed to be so adorable, his vampirish glare was startling.

"So that now we know each other, we will meet again," I told them, "I will be leaving."

"So soon?" Seok seemed like he wanted to converse with me more. But I did not want to just talk around with people I didn't even know, and they were a weird group, no doubt.

"Yeah, Sian will get worried."

"Sian?" Aariye asked wanting a clarification.

"His boyfriend," Gigi chirped, his face carefully kept blank but that small smirk spreading there was very much visible.

I flushed still, stuttering,"N-No, he is a friend and I am straight."

"And his virgin ass would stay straight if all he attracts to himself are Fairies and not so straight Vampires."

I did not even need to turn and see who had just insulted me and revealed my status.

Sian. Why was he even here so soon.

In a blur my sling bag was upon his face as he moved back with the force of my throw.

The bag fell from the face, revealing a very red nose and forehead. Good, he should show more consideration the next time.

And Sian being Sian, started to cry in an over dramatic way, with all that whimpering and sniffling. I noticed the public around turning to see who was making such noise. And with all my dignity still left intact I turned to face the blond group. "Sorry, I don't know him at all."

Sian obviously heard it and started to make a scene, shouting at me at the top of his lungs, "How dare you hit my face like that? My pretty face!"

And as if the drama he was enacting wasn't enough, he stood up and yelled, "I will have my revenge, Ruyaaa!"

Hearing my familiar infamous name the people actually started to take interest in what was going on. Turning their heads to see.

I acted fast, "My treat tomorrow."

Sian instantly muted himself, standing back up as if nothing had happened and he hadn't been dragging me through the mud. "That's it?" he acted all professional, his hands in his pockets as he stared at me.

I bit my lips to keep my calm intact, "That's it."

"You want to come with us to the game arcade?" Seok asked me, and I realized with utter embarrassment that they had seen the entire exchange.

I dared to take a look at them and blushed, seeing how amused they appeared, even Gigi was trying to hide his smirk now. All because of Sian.

"I have to go home, see you-"

"I am coming!" Sian screamed, his eyes all wide and gooey.

The hell?

"Sian, we have things to do."

"Things?" he asked, blanching, clearly disgusted and I understood I had came out wrong. I tried to not show my embarrassment.

"Stop thinking dirty, you know what I mean, homework and stuff."

"Nope."

"Sian, we need to have rest and-"

Sian cut me off rather quickly, "I am your brother, don't talk crap with me, if you are smart, you will come with me. They are offering, such nice people."

Well we didn't know if they were nice, could be male fairies or wizards for all we knew, but Sian loved game arcades, he just couldn't handle in his excitement whenever he heard the term.

"Fine," I breathed shakily, already feeling dead tired. "I will be coming."

"Why you sulking, we not good company for you?" apparently Aariye didn't find my response amusing.

I winced, "No, I was just... tired and wanted to rest today."

Sian shoved me away, "Listen, I am here, forget about him, take me to the game arcade."

How loyal.

The group chuckled and just like that we found ourselves going with the flow.
