Fighting More Battles

A man was standing alone on the arena, he had the name tag Sword Demon and as if he was talking to someone he had his right hand on his ears.

"Sylvie it seems he didn't lie about being from planet Dracht, in fact he seems to be more powerful than the other demons from Dracht. He might be someone of high importance if they didn't want him to train in the real world".

Sword Demon lowered his hand and as he finished, with a sudden flash of light he vanished.

'I need to experience more battles, but before that I should get my battle equipment' thought Leo, he logged out and exited the capsule.

He turned his Comm-link on, after a few seconds Leo took his treasures out of the spatial ring. He pressed the blue button on the capsule, the blue light then passed through everything in the room.

Leo heard the voice of the AI, it said [Scan complete, you can now use these equipments in the virtual world] and Leo went right back in.

Leo was sent straight in front of the battle arena, the voice of the AI could be heard again and it said [You have unlocked the feature: Infinite Inventory]. Leo pressed the icon for it and he could not help but say in amazement "Wow... it really is infinite", he tried scrolling or rather swiping down the inventory. It took him exactly 68 seconds to stop, he wanted to train and he did not want to waste any more time.

He equipped Demon Scales, Fireball, and Rocket Boots. When he was about to press on battle arena, a blue panel appeared saying...

Without hesitating Leo answered"Yes I would like to accept".

'I should probably start pairing now' Thought Leo, he then pressed the battle arena icon. This time though instead of automatically being paired, another panel appeared and it said...

[Start Battle]

Leo pressed the [Start Battle] button and with a sudden flash of light, he vanished into thin air.

Leo was back to the arena styled battlefield and on the other side there was a person holding chained swords. His name was Dancing Blades, he had a tall stature and invisible hair. His realm was World Energy Fusion and his cultivation level was only 3, unlike last time. This made Leo confident, but it was not enough to make him let his guard down and in fact Leo became more cautious.

"Tch... a rich kid"

Dancing Blades noticed that Leo's clothes and equipment were things that can't be bought with 1digital coins.

Dancing Blade seems to be an Enhancer, they are people that are able to make their bodies stronger unlike the Emitters. Emitters are people that can't enhance their body like Enhancers, but they have the upper hand in real battle fields as they can attack from afar unlike the Enhancers that have to use their body.

"10...9...8..."

Leo put his right hand on the katana on his waist and changed his stance, he positioned his body like an athlete preparing to run in a marathon. He bent over and emitted the aura of a fast and ferocious cheetah.

"3...2...1..."

With a sudden thunder clap and a flash of light, Leo already slashed through Dancing Blades or so he thought. Dancing Blades was able to block Leo's attack, but it was only a fraction of Leo's current power.

Leo pointed at Dancing Blades and a fire bullet was shot directly at Dancing Blades. He side stepped and so it missed, he then threw his swords to Leo. Leo tried to dodge, but when he did the swords followed him and slashed his back. Well the swords could not cut through his skin, as he already activated Demon's Wrath and protected his body.

Leo looked at Dancing Blades and he saw that he was grasping the chains on the sword.

"What a cheat, but it doesn't matter. I'll just use a cheat of my own" said Leo. His boots glowed blue, with an explosion Leo was propelled into the air. Leo could not control it properly, in surprise he said "This is so hard to control". He kept flying in weird directions for around ten seconds, he said "Oh I'm getting the hang of this".

While Leo was focused on trying to find out how to control the Rocket Boots, Dancing Blades was actually swinging his chained swords at Leo. Well he always missed though, as Leo always moved in a weird pattern and so he could not hit him.

With the Rocket Boots, Leo was propelled in front of Dancing Blades. He slashed the chains and it went right through, now his opponent was barehanded. Leo stopped using Rocket Boots as it used a large amount of World Energy, he landed and with a thunder clap Leo slashed Dancing Blades. Dancing Blades blocked with his arms, surprisingly Leo only scratched Dancing Blades arms.

Dancing Blades attacked Leo when he got surprised, he punched Leo in the face and Leo was knocked a few steps back. He punched again and again, while Leo's World Energy was as powerful as World Energy Fusion Realm. Leo's body was still as weak as those in Dragon's Leap realm.

Leo was knocked into a corner, his face had bruises and his forehead was bleeding. Leo used Quick Steps and dodged an attack, he had long dropped his katana and so he covered his fists with flames. He punched Dancing Blades in the face and he felt like his bones would be shattered if he continued.

Leo tried to kick him, but it was all to no avail as his right leg was caught in one hand. Leo activated his right Rocket Boot and Dancing Blades was blasted away.

"Now I know what I should do to beat you", Dancing Blades felt shivers down his spine when he heard Leo's statement.

Leo used Quick Steps and he was now in front of Dancing Blades once again. Leo was about to kick Dancing Blades when Leo's legs burst into flames and it's speed became faster by two folds. The strength of his kick was also multiplied of course, with one mistake that Dancing Blades made the tables have turned.

It didn't take long until Dancing Blades bit the dust, his body turned into white light and a panel appeared in front of Leo.

[Congratulations You Have Won Your First Battle]

Now every night Leo would either train his skills or cultivate, with his followers increasing every battle. A month passed and Leo checked his progress with his skills.

Leo looked at it and felt proud of himself, he said "All those battles was really worth while, now I have 2,000 1digital coins. It's annoying that I can't increase my mastery with Lightning Blade, maybe I should ask the Old Demon".

Leo went to the Rewards Hall again and asked the Old Demon exactly what he wanted to know, the Old Demon laughed. He seems to have forgotten his position and said "It seems that the Clan Successor is an idiot when it comes to martial arts, your problem is very easy to answer. You just need to experiment with it and use it in different ways, rather than just how it's meant to be used".

Leo felt like an idiot, which he actually is when it comes to martial arts. "I'm sorry ok, a month ago I was just a normal person that came from a normal family and so I do not know anything about it".

The Old Demon's eyebrows twitched when he heard that, he said "What are you talking about aren't you from the..." and stopped.

Leo felt irritated and said "What is it?".
