Coincidence

In one of the rooms inside a house that was so common every house in the same district had the same design.

A teen age boy was lying down on a bed, his clothes were filled with holes and it made it look like a rag.

The sound of an alarm was echoing inside the whole house, the time shown on it was 8:00 am.

The sound of extremely loud footsteps resounded in this small room, but it stopped when a person reached the door.

Bang!

The door was knocked open.

The silhouette of a woman could be perceived and she approached the windows in the room.

Bright light soon entered the room, as she opened the windows and it revealed her face.

The woman had similar facial features as Leo, she was fairly beautiful and she had fair skin.

She had ruby red eyes, icy blue hair and she was a bit taller than normal women.

The woman looked at Leo and she had a bright smile on her face, but it didn't last long as it turned into a horrifying expression.

She kicked Leo off the bed and then she shouted "LEO!!!", she then turned off Leo's alarm.

Leo jumped up and stood straight, he then said "I'm sorry Mom, I just had to do something last night so I slept late".

She found it quite suspicious that Leo's clothes were tattered and filled with holes, so she couldn't help but ask "Leo, why in the world is your clothes like that? I shall punish you for wasting your clothes and also for not waking up in time, the punishment will be umm... let's see go buy the groceries".

Leo's expression instantly changed from a terrified one to an expression that someone would make when they were extremely happy, he was so happy he emitted a bright glow.

Leo's mom on the other hand thought "Why is he happy with buying the groceries, normally he would try to reject it and still end up going anyway. Normal I would try following him to see what he's up to, but I still have to take care of my husband".

Leo went downstairs and he soon started preparing breakfast, he woke up late so he had to rush.

Ten minutes or so passed and he was already finished, it was quite fascinating to see that he gracefully made everything although he was rushing.

The sound of footsteps could be heard again, but this time Leo's Mom was pushing Leo's dad on a wheelchair and it reminded Leo what his goal was.

Leo wanted to heal his father and with the current technology he could be completely healed, but it came at the cost of hundreds of 4digital coins.

Leo did not have such an amount of money, before Leo's family could earn at least 600,000 and now that his father got crippled they could only earn 400,000 1digital coins.

This amount is barely enough for their living expenses and it was nearly impossible to buy furniture, let alone have enough money to pay for his father's treatment.

When it was finally 10:00 am Leo left for the mall.

Although this was supposed to be a punishment, Leo was happy with this opportunity and it was actually given to him at the right timing.

Leo now had an excuse to go outside and buy the necessary things he needed, such as the VR device the old demon was talking about.

Leo thought "I think I should go to an academy, one that's meant for world energy users. I think academies like those cost around five to ten 3digital coins, I guess I'm fine. I probably only need to use five 3digital coins anyway, mainly due to that VR device. The problem is how I should convince my parents to let me go to an academy, without worrying them and also how I should give them a portion of the money. Well that's a problem for later, I'll think about it when it's almost time".

Leo bought a new set of clothes, one of which was a red hoodie and he also bought a device that was similar to headphones.

The headphones was red in color, he also bought red shoes that resembled sneakers and a half mask that resembled a fox.

Leo bought this set for one reason it was used to act as a disguise, he needed to protect his family.

He bought it just in case that he makes an enemy out of an extremely rich person, by wearing this it would be harder to find out that it was him that did something.

Leo bought a VR device, the one he bought was one that wasn't meant for normal games like MMOs and the like, this was used for training.

World energy users have their own VR device to help them train without getting any injuries, it has a feature that allows people to use world energy in the virtual world.

It can record battles and also be spectated by people, if Leo was famous enough he could also add a fee for spectating.

We all know that people would not waste money on pointless things, unless they had the luxury to do so.

Leo put the VR device on his spatial ring and he was about to leave, when he met a beautiful but cute girl.

The girl had rosy red hair, azure blue eyes and a curvaceous body. She was wearing a pure white dress, her dress and beauty made her resemble a Goddess.

All the people that was just passing by noticed her and most of them were stunned not just for her beauty, but also for something else.

She was known by almost everyone in the planet Rendo as the daughter of one of the four most prominent families, the Azureflame family.

Right now there were two types of people. One that adored her and one that didn't care. Leo was part of the latter, he just didn't care and in his mind all he was thinking about was getting home.

Lily walked inside the mall, right now she was in a really bad mood and the only reason for that is her dream last night or rather her nightmare. She wanted to forget it or at least ease her mood, so she decided to have fun. Well at least this was her goal.

Lily breathed the air and she had a bright smile on her face, it didn't last long though as she saw Leo in front of her.

She froze on the spot and then she tried to calm herself, by whispering to herself "That person probably isn't Leonardo, he just looks like him and he is definitely not someone who can afford going to this place. I read from the documents that Leonardo's family was poor anyway".

Leo was currently in the biggest mall in the whole Red Demon City and just like it's size, most of what is being sold costs around 2digital coins and more.

Leo's mouth twitched when he heard Lily's last statement, he then thought "Why would a woman in the upper echelon do something like researching about someone like me? Maybe his name is just the same as mine, besides people usually call me Leo".

Leo's body was enhanced in many different ways, one of them being the enhancement of his five senses. Leo can now hear whispers 20 meters apart from him and right now Lily was five meters apart, so he could clearly hear what she said.

Leo is currently thinking about many different possibilities as to why she would research about him and so he did not notice that the same exact person is now walking towards him.

The crowd were gossiping and they were saying things like "Lily is so beautiful", but the crowd went silent when they noticed that Lily was walking towards Leo.

It was like time had stopped as they were stuck thinking, until one person broke the silent atmosphere and said "I think Lily came here to meet someone and that someone is that person".

Most of the crowd didn't really care about what he said, as most of them were women and they idolized Lily. The only thing that was on their mind was the question "Who is that handsome man?".

Lily got close to Leo and said "May I ask for your name?".

Leo answered her question right away "Well, my name is Leonardo".

Lily seemed surprised but then she walked past him, in the people's minds they thought that she treated him like air.

Lily's mind at the moment was different though, she was thinking many things like "Why is he here and isn't he more handsome than the person in the picture? Well it doesn't matter, our social standings are different from one another. He will just become a fleeting memory to me, but why do I get this nostalgic feeling when I look at him?".

Leo on the other side didn't think anything bad about it, he was just thinking "Well she is of high status and I am probably just another random passerby to her, it's just weird that my chest feels like it's burning right now. It's like if I don't do something soon I will miss out on something very important in my life, I guess I should just ask her".

When Leo turned around to look at Lily, he was surprised to see that she also turned around and they both said at the same time "Have we met before?".

The crowd went wild and their gossips echoed inside the mall, making it barely possible to understand what they were talking about.

Lily answered "No we haven't", Leo said "Well, I guess not" and they proceeded to walk in different directions. In their minds they were only thinking about one thing "Will we ever meet again?".

Leo continued to walk home, time passed and it was already late at night. Leo went inside the spatial ring, he moved the VR device near one of the buildings.

The VR device was a big capsule, a helmet and bed was inside it. Usually only the helmet is actually needed, but this one was meant for world energy users therefore the capsule is important.

The capsule has features for scanning and copying the same exact world energy a person releases from his body, doing this will allow a person to use his martial skills in the virtual world.

They use their Comm-link for entertainment and a lot of other stuff, though they also have VR devices they hardly ever use it. The helmet is 2 3digital coins, that is equivalent to 200,000 2digital coins and that much is enough to buy two mansions.

Leo asked himself "Now I have a problem, how do I get electricity?", Leo searched the space in the spatial ring.

He soon found a place that could be used to generate electricity, it was an old solar panel and it works through the power of the artificial sun.

Leo put on the clothes he bought earlier, he then put on his mask and headphones.

The headphones wasn't exactly important and it was only for style. Leo now resembled a certain main character from a certain idol drama anime, that person had a burn scar on his face so he wore a fox mask.

Leo powered the VR device on, the capsule glowed blue and it opened right after.

Leo went in and laid down on the capsule, he then put his helmet on. The helmet covered half his face, well at least the whole fox mask.

Leo looked at the buttons beside the bed and pressed one of the buttons. There was a lot of buttons, so it was best not to care about what the other buttons were for.

It was quite weird seeing a person wearing a half mask and a helmet that covered half his face at the same time, well albeit weird it doesn't actually matter.

Blue smoke came out of the capsule through four pipes and then a voice could be heard, it said "Scanning realm and level".

A blue light scanned Leo's body for ten or so seconds and the voice could be heard again "Dragon's Leap, Level None existent. Now scanning the user's body, would you like to copy your current clothes?".

Leo answered "Yes I would like to".

A blue light scanned Leo's body for another ten or so seconds.

The VR device started and the next second Leo was astonished to see a lot of numbers surrounding him, it was quite fascinating to see.

Then he heard the voice again, this time though it asked "What would you want your name to be?".

Leo answered "Hmm... what a hard question, I'll just go with Red Fox".

A few moments later the voice said "Congratulations Red Fox! You are the fifth person to reach the strength of a person in the third level of World Energy Fusion realm, while still being a Dragon's Leap cultivator".

Leo was surprised with the last statement, he himself knew that there was a large gap between the World Energy Fusion realm and Dragon's Leap.

While it was possible, hardly anyone could do it and it was only possible through the use of powerful treasures or rather equipment.

The voice continued "Would you like to enter the virtual world now?".

Leo was so excited he answered as swiftly as he could and said "Yes I would like to".

The next second a pillar of white light appeared and when it touched Leo the same area that it touched would turn into tiny specs of light.

It only took a few seconds before Leo completely turned into nothing but white light.
