CHAPTER 3

From seeing the villager next to me get popped, I knew that the sniper new my general location, 'He must be good'

He's definitely not some nobody, I need to leave here NO once I leave the village then I will be wide in the open with no cover, the only reason I am even alive right now is because of these walking meat shields

In the desert there's NOTHING, unless I get lucky enough to find civilization

'Its decided, I'll try to escape at night' I'll have the most cover at that time, not to mention that the sniper is only human he MIGHT be asleep even though it's unlikely, I'm not gonna stay in this place forever, I need to see bruno, I know where he is, I basically have a gps in my head, but its more of a journey than destination thing, with a sniper on my back this journey is becoming more and more unbearable

I can predict that If I were to go trekking in the desert in the middle of the day while the sun is beating the sh!t outta me, then I can guarantee that I'll die within an hour from dehydration

but there was another reason why I came to this village, and that was for food and water, I can't let the current situation I'm in blind me of my original purpose

At the moment I can't move, since the sniper knows my general location, In reality while I was contemplating in the real world villagers were dying left and right

He's trying to shrink the size of my shields, interesting, that's such an easy tactic yet effective, sooner or later the amount of villagers that are around will decrease to the point where I won't even be able to make a small barrier

But I'm not worried, after all this is a sniper we're talking about, most snipers usually have 5 bullets, since this one is "Special" it must have at least 20, so far he's killed about 10 villagers

And just like a predicted, he stopped shooting, that means that I was correct, he stopped shooting to conserve bullets, that means he has at least more than 10 bullets

But that's not all, every sniper, whether they are a hitman or someone that works for the government, it's common knowledge in the sniper circle to have a second gun, which is most commonly a pistol just in case there position gets discovered and have to fight from short range since a sniper isn't good at that

So he probably has extra ammo, I don't know for sure but it makes sense after all he is trying to kill I whiro, that's my nickname underground, so it makes sense that he should have some extra firepower, just incase I find him and kill his ass

Things keep getting harder and harder, *sigh*, Now I wait till nightfall

It's night now, and so far it's been quiet, 'Should I make my move?' shit my decision making is all scrambled since I'm under serious pressure, its said that when people are inflicted with negative emotion they will think of optimistic things, for example if you kill a bear cub, you'll hope that the mama bear won't chase you, but obviously any normal knows that, that man is dead, but thats what pressure does to a man, even me

I can't trust myself, at the moment anyways

My throat is dry, good thing I have some water next to me, during the time from before to now, I did a lot of things like finding a place to stay for the time, I found food and water as well, and a few other things that are key to me escaping

Now I'm in the dead of night, I have been in the broken shack that is in the most populated area of the village, I chose the most populated area so that I can have more human shields, I am also hoping that maybe just maybe, they can be used as decoys for my escape

But before I could even do that, the glass of the window that was next to me was penetrated and then it flew right through my head

With my last remaining consciousness I was only able to muster a pitiful moan, I expect to be going to hell, for all the things that I have done

My body then fell off the stool that I was sitting on, as soon as it was about to hit the ground it sank into the ground, I was able to witness all of this before I died

Then my body was completely and utterly submerged underground

W-Where am I?, I am in some kind of dark space, it wasn't necessarily dark it was more of a space dark like it had stars and other things, it was like I was in the center of the universe

While Arthurs consciousness was circling around the dark space, almost as if he was exploring it, a yellow text appeared in front of him, and with that text were eyes, the text said hello.

The text then changed, it now read "Hello, I am gekyume" the pay of eyes wrote

It then continued, "You must be confused, Let me explain" the eyes wrote

"I am A god, there are multiple gods, that do different things, each and every god has there own purpose, I am the god that receives the souls of famous people, such as 2pac, michael jackson, juice wrld, and so on and so far" the pair of eyes wrote

"As Long as you had some kind of impact on your world, or some kind of influence, you will be considered a celebrity, whether good or bad, EVEN GANG MEMBERS"

"Since Famous people are famous for a reason, they must have done something great, and those great people are sent to me, they are different from ordinary people, so they get special treatment"

"Special treatment being, 1 wish, and with that wish comes perks, you get different perks depending on what you wish for, you should be grateful, ordinary people either go to hell or heaven, right whiro?"

When arthur saw his old nickname, he started having flashbacks almost like a war veteran having war flashbacks, but he quickly calmed himself down, 'that's in the past now, I only do petty things, like selling blue crystal meth' is what arthur thought

"So, gekyume, you say that I have 1 wish, that means I can wish for anything?" If I can wish for anything then, I can live again

"Yes, you can wish for ANYTHING, as long as it's within my power" As the pair of eyes wrote that, it highlighted "ANYTHING" in great red bold text

I want to wish for reincarnation, but there are there are unknown factors that could happen, 1 being that, what if I don't reincarnate with my memories?, will I be reincarnated as a human?, I don't want to be a worm, where will I be reincarnated?, I'd like to be reincarnated in some village like in fantasy worlds, but I don't know if any of the things I proposed will me included when I wish for reincarnation

Infact, will I even be reincarnated in a fantasy world?, there are to many problems, yet gekyume expects me to solve all that with 1 wish, *sigh*, I am truly in a pickle

AUTHORS NOTE

in the beginning chapters the mc seems nice, but in reality thats all a mask, because he himself is a criminal he's killed, now that he is put in a dire situation you can see his bad side, the side that he covers up with his mask, but thats only a taste of his bad side, it gets way worse in later chapters
