Chapter 144: The Eternal Academy

The five of them lined themselves up with all the other creatures trying to enter the tower. They stood out among the crowd due to them having no baggage whatsoever and not coming out of the portal. Them entering the line garnered a lot of attention, but the various creatures paid no heed to it. They concluded that this was a bunch of guys trying to cut the line, and not at all them crossing the desolation. This was an impossible task in the minds of the inhabitants of the Vast Expanse that it did not even cross their minds. 

After a while of waiting, the group finally reached the gate. 

"10 Green Arcane Crystals each." one of the two guards spoke. She is wearing a uniform made of silver which completely covers her entire body. 

The five of them looked into each other not knowing what to do. They of course did not have the necessary funds needed to enter the gate. 

"Uhm, do you accept treasures?" Prim asked.
