Chapter 106: Vast Expanse

"Ding!" Just as they were about to traverse the Desolate Zone, yet another system notification alerted the entire tower

Notification: The Celestial Tower is now connected to the Vast Expanse. Let the short story serve as a minor information on people occupying it. 

["Ugh, finally!" Aether rejoiced as he came out of the obsidian crystal that sealed him for 1.3 billion years. He has the look of an 18-year-old man through and through. Even though he used to be invincible, no trace of power can be seen in him. All is gone. 

Around the crystal he came from, only desolation exists. No trace of life is visible. The ground is poisoned by the obsidian and the air is so dense that it is unbreathable. There is also no trace of Universal Energy anywhere around the area. Power is nonexistent. 

Suddenly, a lady and a man prostrated themselves in front of Aether.
