Urial's fun reincarnation tale II

"That right there, is nature." I said as a Mad boar was charging at me, with it's hight about-the-same-as-me.

I set my self up on foor legs, on the right moment I jumped with my arms, and then jumped with my legs, over the boar. But, I grasped the boar's fur.

I used my old muscle memory muscle memory to completely stabilize myself on the boar, then, now I will teach you how to ride a Mad boar. A foundational skill for all <Irkailia > players who aren't trash, they are plentiful and in 9 out of the 10 maps in single-player. They're also in the mmo map too.

So, first; You need to trick a Mad boar into charging, why? They can't stop until they've hit something big, or a player/npc.

Second; you need to get on top of them, the 'man-beast method' that I showed you is the quickest method I have created. Though you could use 'Blink' to do it, maybe drop from a tree after an npc triggered the charge. Doesn't matter.

Third; Steering, leen left and right to shift the weight of the mad boar to change directions *Warning; steering mad boars is with little 'grip' in car terms*

Fourth; done, that's it, this is one of the easiest rides to get. If you keep charging into things, git gud scrub.

This tutorial video resounded through a man's mind as he watched me ride in with a Mad boar, I made it too. He made a wide frown as he was filled with jealousy, as he had tried to show off with it an hour ago.

One of his companions, that map-making elf, was a ranger and didn't believe that a mad boar could be tamed. He was laughed at his newly joined party, which he joined after showing promise for an entire week in his adventurer career.

But then he remembered that he was in the middle of a hunt, to find and exterminate wind wolves. Everyone else had also paused, a bit longer than him "Newbie... W-was that what you were trying to do?" the female swordsman leader said.

"Yes." The man said with a certain sense of 'I told you so'.

"L-let's set up camp," She said, needing a bit of time to get rid of the shock of seeing someone riding the most chaotic beast they knew "Have you already used that skill crystal?"

"Yes! I'm really liking the skill." The man said with a smile, he had gotten a 'Skill crystal' as a gift for the newbie, which were actually skill crystals they couldn't sell since it wasn't good or no one knew the effects of.

But really, it was a 'Skill-tree core', it looked at lot like a 'Skill crystal', but it was much more valuable. It was called <Smouldering fang of madness>, it was a strange beserker skill tree, that the man didn't use.

Where was he going to use it? To bribe a real expert of <Irkailia > if they were here, he didn't know why, but almost every expert in the forums had a skill tree core of <Smouldering fang of madness> in one of their accounts stored up.

All on the advice of the 'Villain king Urial', who with each of his characters was evil, and roleplayed as a villain on the forums. He was also at the forefront of 'Skill lord' players, with the record of lvl 43.

Again, he didn't know why it was valuable, but he's seen the 'Villain king' use this skill book in most of his characters. But there was a warning once about how 'This skill tree is for the best of the best, normies are not reccomended in it's use.' And that warning was echoed all over the forums, with many crying that their character was ruined because they didn't heed to warnings.

After a minute of rest the ranger elf said "Newbie, we're going to watch that person, the ability to use Mad boars as mounts is worth more than the money."

All of the 6 members nodded solemnly and moved in search of the mysterious new classer.

Now, back to me, I finally spotted the Wind wolf pack, they were circling their newest meal. A newly dead Sole stag.

I didn't need a plan for this, I aimed the Mad boar at the leader of the pack, and just watched how they killed the Mad boar.

'Alright, alright, I have a plan, right now these Wind wolves are using the 4th strategy of hunting a wind wolf pack can have. If I just get rid of the core, a normal wolf, it will be extremely easy to dismantle.'

With only a glance I had seen the core, which was... That one!

On the right!

Now, to show my supremacy.

I walked forwards, and picked up 10 stones for future use.

The first thrown into the eye of a random wolf.

[50m throw!]

[Combo=2]

[Critical!]

[Combo=3]

[Fatal!]

[Combo=5]

The stone had a spin to it, and was of a slightly harder material than expected. So it went straight to the brain, F-D ranks are easy to kill with some tricks, C-rank and above are more troublesome.

I ran forward, and yelled with a certain tone to my voice. Causing the wolves to falter, this is also a part of my repertoir.

[Used skill 'Roar' at the 1st lvl without <Roar >!]

[Combo=8]

I'm pretty happy with this combo, no need to grind it anymore. Now, let's show my superiority. Those losers over there will be my experience point sources too, what a deal!

The, lets say- 3rd wolf was the first to escape my grasp and ran at me, they were going to do the classic 'Wolf attack' where they jump on you and bite for your head. But I say no to such classics! Since the moment it lands on me, I die.

I ran at it, and then crouched, stopping it for attacking me correctly.

[Dodge!]

[Combo=9]

[Opening created!]

[Combo=10]

[Weakness opening!]

[Combo=12]

I smirked at the idiocy, and that the A.I. was the same as always, easily exploitable.

['Rising dragon strike' without skill!]

[Combo=15]

[Fatal!]

[Combo=16]

[Bare-handed!]

[Combo=17]

I then jumped at grabbed on the fur of the rising, newly made corpse, and pulled myself up, and launched myself at the core wolf.

I set my self up with a rock to the eye.

[2m throw!]

[Combo=17]

[Critical!]

[Combo=18]

Time to kill it, with that, the core wolf no longer had it's guard up, since I broke it. And with me able to attack it, I kicked it right in the face.

[Kick!]

[Combo=19]

[Critical!]

[Combo=20]

[Fatality!]

[Combo=21]

Now, the other 6, I threw my rocks against the eye with da spin against 5 of them, you can understand what happened.

[Combo=31]

The last on I jumped apon, and didn't let go, slapping lightly when it resisted.

This, I did for 4 minutes, until 'learned helplessness' kicked in.

Then I jumped off, after which, the wolf ran away, but I threw a rock at it's crythansium.

Wolf purity=Ruined!

And yes, it was considered an 'Ultra-critical'. Which made me chuckle slightly.

It also had the less funny 'Shame fatality' added on.

Then it tried to run away again, so another rock to the ass.

Finally, it stopped running away. And I took one of it's friends, and took off the hide, and fed what remained to the wolf.

The A.I's of <Irkailia > only gain actual nuance after the player interacts with it, anyways, this is part of my tutorial of Wind wolf taming (Bad person version).

first; Assert dominance, kill all others in it's pack to instill fear.

second; Jump on it's back and stay on until it has started to gain 'Learned helplessness'(Look it up)

Third; Feed it fool, give it some good meat, at least D-rank, and later an activated C-rank magic stone for long-term taming. (Reccomended to feed it it's friends to show even more power)

These actions asserted itself into the man's head, making him sure he was an expert, since you need to go from D-rank hunting to C-rank hunting in at least 10 days to make this work, or they believe that a Wind wolf, one of the best mounts at D-rank can be replaced within that timeframe.

Although Wind wolves aren't the fastest D-ranks, they're one of the best transports due to their high 'Grip' and endurance, even able to eat most things meat! It's honestly weird that no npc's use them as mounts, especially merchants.

At that time, the man was praising his choice of taking <Smouldering fang of madness> instead of that other skill he'd like.

"Sir! Sir!" He shouted frantically, but was ignored as he ran over.

Finally gaining my attention when he showed the <Smouldering fang of madness>, I felt great affection.

To the crystal of <Smouldering fang of madness>, the guy? No one cares about him, just the skill tree "Hmmmm, I see you are a man of great tastes, praytell good sir, what would you be requiring today?"

The man was now certain of my identity as an 'Expert' "Can I join your party? I'm at the level of 'psuedo-trash'." He showed off his qualifications, and more importantly, the skill tree core.

These actions shocked his party members, especially the ranger, who had been completely disregarded by me "To think you so easily left us!" The captain exclaimed.

The man looked at the captain as an idiot "I meant all of us actually, I want to hang on your coattails, and since they helped me in getting this," He shook the skill tree core "I should at least give them a chance."

"That does make sense..." I said, only because he had the skill tree core, otherwise I would rebute him right away "Fine, but you'll only be recognized as a real member after you become a 'Gamer'. The rest... They're npc's anyways, they'll have a status befitting their existence, only if they choose to join."

Though these conditions were below his expectations, this only meant he was confident he could get them some other way "This is a great honor of mine." He gave some formalities, and put the crystal into my hand, while I had a crazed smile. Giving a scare to all party members except the guy.

"Hahaha! <Smouldering fang of madness>! To get it this early into the playthough! Ahaha! My skills will be infinite! As the greatest skill lord; The Villain king Urial!" I instantly used the skill tree core.

[Smouldering fang of madness;

Even the Grim Reaper will not approach the one who's rampage keeps dragging their broken body forward, keeps moving their torn tail, knowing no end.

Rank 1 skill(s); <Half-dead savage dragon>(Lvl 1)

Rank 2 skill(s); <Draconic frenzy>(Locked), <Scorching wound>(Locked)]

[Half-dead savage dragon;

On the edge between life and death, your true potential awakens.

-Halving of hp regen (Unless with dragonic blood)

-When with 1-50 hp skill activates

-When active, 100% increase to attack, speed, perception and defense]

The skill was originally created for dragon race players, but, as you can see; The developers liked the name, but didn't feel like changing anything about it, so they just put in a debuff and copied it for other races to use.

Though that problem of halving hp regen, remember that I will litterally die if I lose 1 hp "So, are you going to join, or will you get lost?" I said as I looked at the npc's.

My power was surging, as I had less than 50 hp. Though this was merely a perk, the real stuff came if I mixed tier 2 skills with other skill trees.

I gave the npc's some time, since I didn't care what they chose, I really didn't care whatever the guy did too, all that mattered was my new skill tree.
