CHAPTER 68:

The servant boy entered shortly with a tray of food and scurried out

Jia enjoyed the various dishes and was preparing to sleep when Szayel barged in

"What is it," Jia asked with an indignant look

FEW HOURS LATER

She woke up,unable to sleep

She got up and went to the library

"A war is not what I think it is. The emperor is the grand commander of the military in every empire" Jia thought aloud

She picked up the former emperor's war strategy book but she couldn't understand it

"What am I going to do now? I can't command people!" Jia said with a crestfallen look

She didn't get a wink of sleep that entire night as she spent the entire night studying war strategies, Military formations, Lines of defense, and many others

"It is the shura emperor" Szayel said with fear

"I know. Prepare the soldiers. We're taking the fight to them" Jia said coldly

"That's one man to two enemies. I believe our soldiers have become stronger. I'm coming for an inspection myself. By the way,get me the general. We need to talk" Jia said unbothered

Jia went back to the room and changed into actual military clothing not the ceremonial one used for the coronation

The actual military clothing was less fancy and was made to accommodate easy movements

She removed her crown and placed it on a pillow.

Donning the cap, She entered the throne room and sat on the throne

"I believe Szayel has told you what I plan on doing. Who has any objections" Jia asked

"I do. It is a very impossible thing your majesty" One of the council members spoke

"Kahn, Szayel already gave the soldiers a special technique to harness Colysi so they can break through easily. Didn't he tell you that?" Jia reprimanded

"I'm sorry Sir Szayel never mentioned that," Kahn said eyeing Szayel

"Kahn, please take me to the military barracks. Tell them that I want to talk to them " Jia said

The soldiers all gathered outside

General Li kowtowed Jia

"The Shura emperor wants a marriage alliance. Jael said if we don't agree,it's going to be a war for sure" Lady Kim continued

Jia coughed up a mouthful of blood

"Are you ok?" The royal physician asked in fear

Blood dripped from her mouth giving her a deathly hallow

"War it is then. I Empress Azrael declare war on Emperor Jael of the Shura kingdom. I know we will win. I'm starting to suspect some of you. If get you, it's instant death" Jia said in a cold whisper

"We're taking the fight to them tomorrow. We're going to invade Anka. Szayel, prepare the soldiers" Jia said storming out of the throne room

"What if she eventually finds out" Lady Kim murmured before slumping

A bullet hole was found in her head region
