CHAPTER 60:

"Good. I will explain some things to you. This is the dark yin palace. Don't think that you are special or anything of such. The only mission of this palace is assassination. All missions must be completed within the specific time range. Do not think of running away because we'll find you. You are not allowed to go where you are not asked to go. " The dark knight explained

His explanation gave Jia the chills

The dark knight handed Jia a dark-colored armor with the insignia of the dark yin palace

"Any questions," The dark knight asked

"Yes. Are we allowed to leave this place? And am I supposed to stay here" Jia asked

"No. Zhang San will tell you. Training begins tomorrow" The dark knight said disappearing

A short, dark-haired man appeared and took Jia to a door, and disappeared

Jia wore her armor then slowly pushed the door open

The armor fitted perfectly. It also had a sort of ninja mask and a sword in its sheath

Surprisingly, She didn't seem to find anyone there

Suddenly she heard the sound of a sword being unsheathed

"I bring no harm," Jia said knowingly

An armored person appeared and sheathed the sword

"Oh, you're new. My bad." The person said.

The voice sounded a bit feminine

"I am Mitsuko. What's yours?" The person asked

"Azrael" Jia replied coldly

Two figures appeared shortly after

"Mitsuko, I remember us being three" One of them whined

" Yuan, That's Azrael, She's new" Mitsuko answered lightly

The second figure took off his armor

Underneath the armor lay a very beautiful man

He had peach-colored lips and black demonic eyes

His crimson red hair danced lightly on his face making him look like the king of hell

"They call me Zara," He said coldly

Mitsuko took off her armor. She was a young silver-haired Youko

"Do it" Mitsuko ordered childishly

Jia used shapeshifting skills on herself

Her long black hair becomes short and white

Her irises became white with a black ring around it giving her a ghost-ish vibe

Mitsuko was a kind of tomboy

Zara shut his eyes and appeared to be in a state of suspended animation

Yuan removed his armor piece by piece

He was a charming young man. He seemed to be a spirit kin

He had a normal well built muscular body with black tattoos

His body changed to a phantom-like one occasionally

Yuan nodded at Jia with a weird smile

Diablos opened his eyes and stared at Yuan disdainfully before shutting them again

"What is wrong with him," Jia asked

"That's how he's always been" Yuan replied with a dejected sigh

THE NEXT DAY

Jia received a summoning letter from the dark knight

"You are going for your first assassination

There's a way things are done here. We leave notes signifying that we're the culprits" The dark knight said casually

"No one ever comes to get revenge?" Jia asked

"The dark yin palace is feared so pretty much no one. Except for some headstrong ones that end up getting killed " The dark knight said waving his hand in a cutting fashion

He handed her a stash of papers

"You are given a week to complete that task," The dark knight said disappearing

Jia stared at the papers with a complicated expression

"Not again" Jia muttered returning slowly

No one was in the room except Zara who was in his usual suspended animation state

Jia stared at him for a while before burying her head in a stash of papers

"An aristocrat?" Jia mouthed excitedly

Zara opened his eyes and stared around for a while before closing them

"Lord of Heping.200 years old " Jia read the information aloud

The rest of the paper contained his movements, locations, and some bits of information

It also contained the location of his palace; Schön

Jia continued to further read the paper. Her excitement suddenly turned into a frown

"What. The. Hell?!" Jia exclaimed loudly

"You are yelling. Can you stop it" Zara was forced to say

Jia ignored him and continued to read the paper

Zara sighed in frustration

"Don't be such a problematic person" Zara continued

Zara got no response so he stopped talking
