THE NEXT DAY

Jia had a smile on her face

'Maybe this is not so bad after all ' Jia thought to herself

"You are so dumb," The system said

"Why do you think that?" Jia asked

"Look at your dumb self. You turned to the dark side because of the very same Danaerys. Then he showed up weeks after telling you it's going to be fun and you agree? I can guarantee that there are going to be more of you very soon ugh!" The system ranted

"That's none of your business. What I choose to do with my life is none of your business" Jia replied coldly

"Listen, I don't care either. That's your business. I just thought to tell you " The system said in spite

Jia was shocked by the system's tone

"Wait..." Jia tried to say but the system had already disappeared

Jia's expression changed drastically

Her face twisted in disgust at the system's words

"That can't happen" Jia continued to chant trying to calm her heart which was beating fast

Jia took a deep breath but her heart was uneasy

She found herself suddenly becoming restless

Danaerys appeared

"Hi, I'm Danaerys. What's yours?" Danaerys asked with a friendly smile

"Xue" Jia replied simply

"Your aura seems familiar. Are you Azrael?" Danaerys asked

"Yes. I am Azrael" Jia replied curtly

"I like you," Danaerys said disappearing

Jia's head was currently spinning

She remembered that she had unlocked the first level of prana

Jia brought out the spell parchments

Luckily, the parchments were arranged

She picked up one of the basic spells and read through it

The first spell was a sort of erasing spell

When mastered to perfection, It can completely erase everything in a 100kilometre radius

Jia channeled her prana and started to chant the spells

After she finished chanting, Everything still appeared to be normal

Jia thought of something

She made a saber impact on the ground

Jia then chanted the spell and the saber impact disappeared

The saber impact she made was 1 kilometer away from her

Jia continued to practice that spell until her prana reserves had expanded

She felt tired and lay on the floor

"System" Jia called out but heard no response

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean it" Jia said with a downcast expression

'Damon, I'm leaving for a while. I'll be back ' Jia told Damon telepathically

She didn't wait for his response before disappearing

The system reappeared beside Jia and stared at her with disdain

Jia noticed it and didn't say a word

"I thought you were smart. Anyway, a child can't be so bad that I'll give it to a tiger for lunch" The system said like an elderly man

"Still, we got to work on your smartness. It's time you join a real assassin group. Not like that shitty place" The system raved

"I think I'll name you Chi" Jia pretended to think loudly

"No. My name is an overpowered system, not Chi. don't give me any weird names. Anyway, You're going to join the dark yin palace. You need something drilled into your head" The system said with a smile

The system held her hand and they arrived in front of a majestic building

It looked magnificent yet well hidden from view

The system entered into Jia's body to avoid being seen

"Don't pull anything. I want to know my true talent grade" Jia warned

The process of the testing was quite simple. You just have to draw blood and pour it unto the testing beetle

The number of times it sheds its exoskeleton is your talent grade

It got to Jia's turn and she put her blood on the testing beetle

The beetle started to shed its exoskeleton

Jia looked at it in anticipation

It stopped after shedding thirteen exoskeletons

"Aw, you should have let me do something. You'd have gotten a twenty" The system said in mock disappointment

Jia pretended to be disappointed too

A person clad in dark armor signaled to her to follow

Jia followed behind slowly

They got into a dark room

"Alright. I am the dark knight. I am a core member of this place. You are an inner member as you should have known" The dark knight said with no emotion

Jia hesitated for a while before bowing to the dark knight

"I. I am honored" Jia stuttered

The dark knight nodded in satisfaction
