CHAPTER 27: DAMON'S SISTER

Jia gingerly walked over to pick like snow fruit and the spirit moonflower.

"Pesky human" A hoarse voice sounded.

A pure white tiger walked majestically into view.

"You dare enter my territory and steal, "The tiger said angrily with a growl.

Aura burst from its body shaking the whole place.

"Lord tiger, I didn't know this was your territory. I will be taking my leave" Jia said with a bow.

"Ha! Who said anybody will be leaving here today?" The tiger said licking its lips.

It approached her attempting to pounce on her. She evaded the strike.

The tiger kept on dishing out several attacks, but none hit her. It got me frustrated.

"You've done yours. Now it's my turn" Jia said with a dark smile.

The tiger subconsciously took several steps back.

"What? Trying to leave? Nobody is going anywhere" Jia said mockingly.

A blue light shone on the tiger's body.

Its eyes became fiercer.

"Tiny human" It growled.

"That tiger has personality issues" Damon commented.

It suddenly became bigger and bigger. It roared angrily.

Jia activated vampire transmutation.

"Not only you can get big," Jia said with a demonic laugh.

" You're one of that person's descendants? "The tiger asked in shock.

" Master, grant your disciple the power to carry out your grievances, "The tiger said with a dark look.

" Step back " A woman's voice commanded.

It cowered before her.

The woman took petite steps and appeared in front of Jia.

"What are you doing here?" The woman asked with a charming smile.

Jia turned back to human form.

"Kiara" Damon screamed excitedly jumping out of Jia's body.

"Brother," Kiara said with a smile.

They hugged each other.

"I thought you died. I saw your tomb and your body. I brought your body back after slaughtering all of them" Damon said.

Kiara laughed for a long time.

"Brother, I used a war machine. I didn't go to the star field. I hid and kept on improving my powers "Kiara explained.

" Kiara. I missed you so much " Damon said with a smile.

"You, what happened to you? Where's your actual body?" Kiara asked eyeing Jia.

"It's not her. Someone tried to kill me. They killed my body, but I didn't die. I was in hiding for a long time and she found me" Damon explained and jumped back into Jia's body.

"Kiara, what did your tiger mean that I was that person's descendant?" Jia asked confused.

"Ah, back then, I had a feud with a certain vampire. He had the same transmutation skill, and I swore that if I ever found any of his descendants, I'll kill them" Kiara replied smiling sheepishly.

Kiara's silver hair fluttered lightly. Her red robes made her look like she had just been bathed in blood.

Damon jumped back out.

"Very soon, I'll find a body for your brother," Jia said with a smirk.

"Liangxiao, give her the fruit and the flower" Kiara commanded the tiger.

It whined slightly but still presented the fruit to her.

"Kiara, if you don't mind, we'll be taking our leave," Jia said walking out.

"Wait" Kiara bit her lip.

"Here, take this. If you ever get in trouble, this will save you. It is only a one-time-use object" Kiara said.

"Thank you," Jia said and disappeared.

"Chen" Kiara cursed under her breath before returning to where she emerged from

"Four left" Jia muttered.

A blizzard was showing signs of starting in the snowy area. For powerful cultivators, the temperatures plummet meant nothing to them. But to people like Jia, it meant a lot.

"It's cold," Jia said rubbing her hands together.

The blizzard was so strong that she couldn't see anymore. She saw a cave and decided to wait there till the blizzard ended.

Jia was a naturally curious person, so she decided to walk around.

The end of the cave led into a beautiful garden with a waterfall.

"This looks good" Damon commented.

The place was filled with a lot of spiritual energy.

Jia sat down to cultivate.

THREE DAYS LATER

[Host has leveled up+4]The system announced

"You're now a level 22. That's cool" Damon said with a smile.

"I wonder if I can find the remaining four materials here," Jia thought to herself.

"There are a lot of things here," Jia said picking up a lot of herbs.

"Little girl, don't you think we should stay here for a while?" Damon asked with a charming smile.

"Yes. I was thinking the same too" Jia replied walking around.

"I still haven't found the energy fruit or the emperor Phoenix flower or anything I need," Jia said clenching her fists.

Jia continued to walk deeper into the garden. There were fewer plants along the tiny path.

The path reeked of blood and some of the grasses were stained with brown old blood.

The path split into two at the end.

Jia paused to make a decision.
