CHAPTER 23: BACK TO BACK BATTLES

"Do we really have to do this?" I said

" You think I will believe what you say just like that?" Hela

" Well the Man's dead body is right there. You can check it for yourself."

Looking over that direction Hela contemplated whether to Go check for herself or Just kill the man in front of her. Finally making up her mind she said, " I will go and check. If you move even an inch I will kill you that instant. Am I clear?"

" Very."

Going towards the body She bent down and started checking the body. " Hmm the body is a bit burned and the eyepatch is missing. But this is the body of Odin for sure."

Hela's reaction was one of complex emotions, a mixture of triumph, vindication, and perhaps even a hint of melancholy. For centuries, she has harbored resentment towards Odin for imprisoning her and erasing her from Asgardian history. His death represents the final release from her exile, the last barrier standing between her and her long-awaited vengeance.

Yet, amidst her feelings of triumph, there is a flicker of something else—a fleeting moment of reflection, perhaps, as she contemplates the passing of the man who was once her father. Despite their tumultuous history, Odin was still a part of her past, a connection to a time long since lost.

But any hint of sentimentality is quickly swept away by the tide of Hela's ambition. With Odin gone, she is free to pursue her goals without restraint, to reclaim her birthright as the true ruler of Asgard. Her lips curl into a sinister smile, her eyes alight with the fire of determination.

"Odin," she murmurs, her voice barely a whisper yet filled with a potent mixture of scorn and satisfaction. "You thought to bury me, to erase me from history. But now, it is you who will be forgotten. Asgard belongs to me now, and I will not rest until it lies at my feet."

With a flick of her hand, Hela summons her weapons, the Necrosword and the power of death itself, pulsing with dark energy. She stands tall, a figure of darkness and destruction, ready to claim her rightful place as the Goddess of Death and ruler of Asgard.

And as she prepares to unleash her wrath upon the realm, a single thought echoes through her mind — a promise of vengeance fulfilled, and the dawn of a new era of power and dominion.

Looking towards me She said said, " You are strong. Even If Odin was old and feeble he was still the All father. If you have strength to kill him then it proves your strength. I want you. I want you to to be my Commander in chief of my Army. You shall stand by my side as we take back what rightfully belongs to me. HAHAHAHAHA we will be unstoppable. What do you say?"

" Sorry that would not be possible. "

Hela looked stunned before narrowing her eyes, " Why? You are a powerful warrior. Why do you not want to join me in my conquest?"

" It's because I have a different proposal for you?"

" Speak. If I don't like it You will firsthand witness the power of the Necrosword."

" Well. Let's start with Introductions shall we?.. My name is Lucifer. I am forming an army to kill certain people and protect some others. I plan to have 10 generals and have already got four. I would like to invite you to join my army as my fifth commander. And that is the reason why I can't join you."

"HA HAHAHAHA " Hela laughed like crazy for some time before looking straight at me. " YOU. You dare to Think that I, HELA will stoop so low that I will join your army as a mere commander. Has my image dwindled to this much that people now a days don't even remember what I am capable of ?" Taking a pause she shouted," I have decided. I don't need you. No , I will kill you and then your army. How dare you try to make me into a mere puppet dancing by your fingers."

Hela lifted her sword and rushed forward to start the battle.

GENERAL POV:-

The battlefield was shrouded in darkness as Hela, the Goddess of Death, faced off against Lucifer, a being of unimaginable power. Hela's eyes glowed with malevolent intent as she wielded her formidable sword, while Lucifer stood tall and imposing, the Rinnesharingan swirling with crimson energy around him. With a smirk of confidence, Lucifer summoned the elemental forces at his command, ready to unleash devastation upon his foe.

"You dare challenge me, Lucifer?" Hela's voice rang out, filled with contempt and disdain. "You may wield great power, but you are no match for the might of death itself."

Lucifer's lips curled into a sinister smile. "Death? You speak of death as if it holds power over me. I am beyond death, Hela. I am the harbinger of destruction and chaos."

With a flick of his wrist, Lucifer unleashed a torrent of nuclear-charged flames from Ryujin Jakka, the sword of fire, while simultaneously channeling the devastating power of the Rinnesharingan and his mastery over Haki. The flames roared towards Hela with unstoppable force, threatening to consume her in their fiery embrace.

But Hela was not so easily defeated. With a wave of her hand, she summoned the power of death itself, creating a barrier of darkness that repelled Lucifer's attack. "Your flames may burn bright, Lucifer," she hissed, "but they cannot extinguish the darkness that lies within me."

Lucifer chuckled darkly, his eyes ablaze with power. "Darkness? You speak of darkness as if it holds sway over me. I am the master of all elements, Hela. Fire, water, earth, air – they all bend to my will."

As the two titans clashed, the battlefield erupted into chaos. Flames danced with shadows, lightning crackled through the air, and waves of energy rippled across the ground. Hela and Lucifer fought with ferocious intensity, each strike resonating with the power to shatter worlds.

"You may possess great power, Lucifer," Hela growled as she parried a blow, "but you are nothing compared to the might of death itself. I am the ruler of Hel, the bringer of doom."

Lucifer laughed, the sound echoing like thunder across the battlefield. "Death? Doom? Such feeble concepts mean nothing to me! I am the master of space, time, and all the elements. I am the end and the beginning."

As the battle raged on, Hela and Lucifer traded blow after blow, each one more devastating than the last. Flames danced around them, lightning crackled through the air, and the ground shook beneath their feet. But despite her best efforts, Hela found herself struggling to keep up with Lucifer's overwhelming power.

"You cannot defeat me, Hela," Lucifer taunted as he unleashed a barrage of attacks. "I am eternal. I am omnipotent. I am..."

But before Lucifer could finish his boast, Hela launched herself at him with all the fury of the underworld. With a mighty roar, she plunged her sword deep into Lucifer's chest, piercing his heart with the power of death itself.

Lucifer staggered backwards, his eyes widening in shock. "Impossible," he gasped, blood dripping from his lips. "How..."

Hela's eyes blazed with triumph as she twisted the sword, driving it even deeper into Lucifer's chest. "You may be the master of many things, Lucifer," she hissed, "but you are not the master of death. And in the end, death always triumphs."

But it was Hela who was surprised when the Lucifer in front of her smirked and burst into smoke and disappeared. Looking all around the battlefield Hela couldn't find any signs of her opponent.

" Has he run away? After spouting such big words!. Disgraceful."

Hela looked towards the city of Asgard and murmured," Now then. Its time to take what is mine."

She was about to start walking towards the city but was stopped when a strike came from nowhere and hit her in the stomach. She could not even move in the air as she was thrown in the air and deposited a few hundred meters from where she was standing. 

Getting up on her feet she saw Lucifer standing on his feet with a smirk on his face. Coughing up a bit of blood from the blow she smiled a sick smile when she heard the man say, " Ready for round Two?"

With a flick of his wrist, Lucifer unleashed a torrent of nuclear-charged flames from Ryujin Jakka, the sword of fire, while simultaneously conjuring cyclones of elemental fury. Hela met his onslaught head-on, deflecting the flames with her necrosword and weaving through the tempest with unnatural grace.

"You are a mere shadow, Hela," Lucifer taunted, his voice cutting through the chaos. "A pale reflection of true power."

Hela's eyes narrowed, her resolve unwavering. With a swift motion, she unleashed a wave of dark energy, aiming to engulf Lucifer in her malevolent embrace. But to her astonishment, Lucifer merely smirked, effortlessly dispersing her attack with a flick of his fingers.

"You think yourself invincible, Hela," Lucifer sneered, his voice dripping with disdain. "But your power is nothing compared to mine."

With a surge of dark energy, Lucifer lashed out at Hela, his blows landing with devastating force. Hela staggered under the onslaught, her armor cracking under the strain. Try as she might, she could not match Lucifer's relentless assault, each strike pushing her further towards defeat.

"You cannot hope to defeat me, Hela," Lucifer declared, his voice ringing with triumph. "I am the harbinger of chaos, the embodiment of destruction. You are nothing but a mere Goddess, doomed to wither and fade."

Hela gritted her teeth, her defiance unyielding. But deep down, she knew that Lucifer spoke the truth. No matter how fierce her resolve, she could not overcome the overwhelming might of her adversary.

With one final, devastating blow, Lucifer struck Hela down, her form crumbling into the dust before his dark power. As the echoes of battle faded into the void, Lucifer stood victorious, his triumph complete.

In the end, Hela had been no match for the dark and twisted power of Lucifer, the true master of chaos and destruction. Laying in a crater Hela was unconscious. Her armor broken and swords shattered. Hela, The goddess of Death and Destruction, Ruler of Hel has been defeated.

MC POV:-

'Huh Fighting two gods right after one another can be quite tiring.' Seeing Hela laying in the crater jumped into it and came beside her. Using my Mind Manipulation I dived into Hela's mind.

Hela's mindscape, is a realm of unrelenting darkness and malevolent power. Shrouded in shadows, its landscapes are desolate and treacherous, with jagged cliffs and bottomless chasms stretching into the distance. Echoes of tormented souls resonate through the air, their cries of anguish a constant reminder of Hela's dominion over death. At the heart of this grim realm sits Hela's throne, a macabre structure adorned with skulls and bones, symbolizing her absolute authority as the Goddess of Death. Veils of mist and ethereal energy drift through the darkness, obscuring the true nature of the realm and hinting at the ancient secrets it holds. Within this haunting landscape lie scattered relics and artifacts, remnants of battles long past and the conquests of her reign, imbued with dark magic and whispers of forgotten lore. Hela's mindscape is a realm of darkness and despair, a testament to her power and the depths of her malevolence.

" Well that's messed up even for a god. If this is the condition of the mindscape of a goddess then it is truly pitiful what happened to her."

Coming out I used the mind powers to clear some of her mind of the malice and darkness it possessed. Although she will remain bloodthirsty and vengeful she would have a clear mind to make her decisions at least.

Groaning in pain Hela opened her eyes and looked around. Seeing me she said, " Kill me."

" Did I not say that I need you in my army."

"I won't be...."

" Don't argue with me. You and I both know that Asgard will never accept you as its ruler. Why do you want to Stay cuddled up in this tiny planet when there are literal universes to explore. Can you not see the opportunity that I am providing you? Has your days in imprisonment blinded you so much that you have don't ant anything but a golden throne."

Pointing at my head Omni man style I said," Think Hela Think. What will you do when some power hungry moron comes and destroys Asgard. What will you do when someone like me who has the power to kill you and the other puny gods with one hand tied to their back decides to stop holding back. What will you do when there is no Asgard?"

" Do you think a fucking golden throne makes you a Queen? You who desire to be a ruler have no Idea what a ruler truly is."

Hela looked at me wide eyed throughout my lecture. Closing her eyes she said, "Joining you would mean that I will have to give up my dream. Even though your words are true in regards that I cannot defeat everybody, I cannot give up my dream." Opening her eyes I could see tears have gathered there. Looking at me she pleaded, " Please don't take my dream from me."

It was then that it hit me. Hela never wanted to conquer the nine realms. From her childhood, from the moment she could train she was pushed into war by Odin. She never got the chance to decide for herself. Her dream was to be like Odin, not the peace loving shit became later but the warmonger who spread the name of Asgard throughout the nine realms. She wanted to impress Odin, her Father and be his worthy successor. Looking back at Hela I said

" Fine I will not take your dream away. But you will be a part of my Army. I will transport the people of Asgard to my world and you will be their queen." She wanted to argue but I interrupted her, " Asgard is not a place, It's its people Hela." Saying this I used my medical ninjutsu to cure the injuries she got in this battle. Standing up I said," Let's go greet your people."

IN THE ROYAL PALACE 

There was total chaos in the palace. Just after Odin and I disappeared chaos broke out. Thor wanted to go out there and Help his father but Frigga had stopped him and the rest of them.

" Heimdall tell me what is happening." Frigga.

" Yes My Queen. The ALL FATHER and the man are currently engaged in combat...."

A few moments Later Heimdall stopped narrating the battle and Thor asked Impatiently, " What Happened why did you stop?"

" My Prince look up."

All of the people present in the room along with the rest of he people of asgard looked up when they saw a huge shadow in the sky during Daytime. And what they saw had them petrified in their spot.

" H-How is this possible" Thor stuttered out. 

" I am afraid Asgard will face its end if that planet hits us." Sif

" What can we do" Soldier.

" Don't worry I will break it into pieces with my Mjolnir." Thor said

" No The All father has already taken care of it."

They all saw a white light and heard a collision sound so loud that they had a buzz in their ear for a few moments. After a few moments Heimdall cried out " NOOOOOO....."

" What happened? " Frigga

" My Queen. The All father has fallen in battle. I am Afraid he is no longer with us." Heimdall chocked out.

" Nooooo." Thor shouted and was ready to rush into the battlefield when Frigga stopped him again, "Thor , control yourself, Do not rush to your death. Heimdall prepare the defenses. We need to defend Asgard both from Lucifer and Hela."

" Yes my queen" 

BACK TO THE PRESENT 

Hela and I were coming back to the main city of Asgard when I felt something. Using my Haki I saw that almost all of Asgard's army has been assembled and is preparing for combat.

" They are preparing quite the welcome for us." 

" They will either Submit or Die."

Reaching the city we were greeted by Thousands and thousands of Asgardian Soldiers who were ready to die to protect their home. I could see Thor, Heimdall, The warrior three, Sif, Frigga all in their battle outfit. Surprisingly Even Loki was present there.

" So they even let you out." I said with mirth in my voice looking at Loki.

" Surrender Lucifer. You are no match for the Asgardian army." Thor shouted.

Looking at Frigga I asked," Has he forgotten that I have just now killed Odin who a=was way more powerful than him?"

Frigga didn't reply but narrowed her eyes. Looking at them I said," Well we can do this in two ways, the easy way or the hard way."

" In the easy way I will say a few things, You will listen to them and accept them as it will be in your favor and I will get what I want. In the hard way I will kill you all and achieve what I want anyway. So what will It be?"

" We will never submit to you , you monster." Thor

" You have no patience man. that is the only weakness you have other than being weak." I mocked him. he turned red and was again going to attack me but stopped as Frigga glared at him, " You have killed our King and God. Why should we listen to whatever you say?"

" It is particularly the reason that I have killed your King and God that you should at least listen to me before throwing away your lives recklessly."

Frigga contemplated for a moment before opening her mouth, "I do not want to kill off all of these men for nothing. We gain nothing by waging war against you. If you have any way to negate war I am open to listen to it."

" Mother , How can you..."

" Shut up Thor." Frigga commanded.

" Yes brother. In this situation It would be better to deal with it with brains rather than brawn. Though I feel you wouldn't understand as you lack a brain." Loki did not leave the opportunity to mock his brother.

" Well." I started." Asgard is bound to be destroyed in a few years anyway. That event is called Ragnarök. Surtur would gain his giant form and plunge his sword right in the heart of Asgard destroying it. Thor and the others escaped to Earth and on their way met with the Mad Titan Thanos. Thanos on his quest to collect all the infinity stones kills Loki and destroys the Space ship Thor and the others were fleeing in. After wards Thanos would use the power of the stones to destroy half of the population of the universe. The handful of asgardians who remain will settle on earth with a lazy king who has lost his will to live leading them. That is the basic summary of what would have happened in a few years after Odin died naturally." I said to them showing them mental images as I narrated the story. 

Gasps were heard all around as they wrapped their head around what they heard. Even Hela was shocked and asked me, " Is this true?"

" Naturally. I have no reason to lie to any of you."

Frigga quite concerned about the future she heard asked, " Then what do you propose?"

" Join me." I said straight forward." Join the army I am creating. I will guarantee that all of you will live and lead a health life. Never facing the danger of Surtur or even Thanos."

" But if Thanos uses the stones wouldn't the entire universe be in danger, Including where you are gathering your army?" Thor asked.

" And who, dear Thor has told you that we will stay in this universe?"

The Asgardians had wide eyes when they heard this statement. Frigga stepped up and said," We will accept your offer to join your Army, but I am afraid we cannot accept you as our king."

" The titles of King does not Interest me. I am not interested in being your king But I do hope you will consider Hela after all the contributions she had given to Asgard under Odin's rule."

" I will keep it in mind." Frigga said. 

" Then it's time for you to start packing. Meet me in two days at the fields outside for the start of our new chapter in life."
