CHAPTER 16 : THE SECOND GREAT NINJA WAR

It has been few months since Hiruzen has taken up his role as Hokage of Konoha. Kumo was on the verge of declaring war on Konoha. Onoki the clever dwarf has allied himself with Kumo and formed an allience.

It was precisely three years later when Kumo and Iwa declared war on Konoha. The battles mainly took place in the Land of Rain a neutral ground. This war saw the rise of the ninja Demigod Hanzo of the salamander. Ame was fighting on both front and repelled the armies of the big three nations. Konoha was busy fighting on the front of suna. It was being said that a puppeteer named Chiyo was causing huge losses for Konoha using her puppets and poison. Tsunade Senju, the student of Hiruzen and granddaughter of Hashirama was deployed on the Suna battlefield along with Hatake Sakumo the White Fang of Konoha. The other two students of Hiruzen i.e. Jiraiya and Orochimaru were deployed on the Kumo and Iwa battlefield respectively. This war lasted for about three years before Suna retreated. Tsunade, Jiraiya and Orochimaru were called back to Konoha for their next deployment. Kiri was being handled by the Uchihas and Hyugas.

It was a few months later when it was heard that the students of Hiruzen were deployed to Ame to fight and defeat Hanzo of the Salamander. I was tempted to go and witness the battle which gave birth to The Legendary Sanins but something else caught my attention.

A coalition of Iwa Kiri and Kumo were gathering their troops to attack the village of Uzushio where the Uzumaki resided.

'Finally it's time to gather some new shadows.'

ON THE DAY OF THE ATTACK

UZUKAGE TOWER

"Hmm the situation is not very good. There are about 30,000 shinobi waiting on the borders to slaughter us. Send the children and elderly through the back of the village towards Konoha. Konoha will help them to settle in and provide protection. Ready our defences and prepare for a counter strike. Although we are a peace loving clan we will remind our enemy why they should not mess with the Uzumakis." The Uzukage said

" Yes my lord." There were about 20 join level shinobis in the room who replied simultaneously.

" Konoha will not be safe for your clansmen." An unknown voice sounded.

" Who?" The people shouted going into a defensive posture.

" Hello I am Lucifer. I am here to talk to you about your future."

The Uzukage's eyes widened and he asked," Lucifer are you the ones from the legends?"

"Yes. I did save you guys once from a chakra disease. But that's not why I am here."

"Can you tell us ?" Uzukage.

"Of course. Who do you think gave out the way to reach your island crossing the whirlpools and deactivate your seals?"

"What!!!!" There was a cry of uptrage throughout the room." Then what shall we do??" " Lucifer-sama please us some hope."

" Well I planned on taking you guys to my base where you guys can stay from now. As for the army I will take care of it for you guys as a sign of trust."

" Really you will do that for us?"

"Yes, this will be helpful to me also."

" Very well. The uzumaki clan will be greatful for this help and we will help you in anyway we can."

"Very well. Stay within the village and observe the fight. I don't want you guys to intervene in this battle." saying this I took my leave to where the army was.

"Do you think it is right to trust him clanleader."

" No but I couldn't sense any negative intent from the man. If he really is the one from the legends then this might be a good thing for the clan"

"Very well"

TO THE BATTLEFRONT

Floating in the air I created 12 truth seeking orb and placed them all over the island.

" 12 RAY CRIMSON BARRIER"

I announced as a red barrier enloped the entire army. The shinobi placed in watch duty saw the barrier surrounding them and rushed to inform the Kages.

IN THE WAR ROOM.

Onoki, the third raikage and the third mizukage were present in the room discussing what loot they will take when a shinobi came running in.

"My lord. there is a strange barrier that has surrounded the entire island.Looka like the uzumaki have done something"

"HUH ! So they are finally on the move eh!" Raikage

"Hmm. Looks like they want to close off all exits. But wouldn't it trap them with us." Mizukage

"not exactly. They might let some people escape and cage the rest of us to prevent chasing them" Onoki

"Well let's go and see what has happened." A

Saying this the three kages rushed out of the room and came out to the open.

"so the battle will finally begin. My men are getting bored otherwise" Raikage.

"hmm. but i don't see their army or any defenses at ready. Where are these Uzumakis?" Mizukage

" I don't know why I am getting a bad feeling."

" OH DON'T BE A PUSSY.!!! We have an army of around 30,000 and their population is hardly 5,000 strong. there is no way we will lose."

Onoki growled but did not get the chance to say anything because a different voice interrupted him,

"Yo Onoki. I see you have grown well. How is the back treating you"

Turning towards the voice the three kages saw a man flying in the air. A was confused as the man seemed to know onoki and talked like close friends. The mizukage arched his eyebrows towards onoki. Onoki on the other hand recognized the man. How could he not. the man gave him nightmares. And here he was floating in front of him. Onoki wanted to run. He now understood why the uzumaki have raised the barrier. It was not to buy the time for some of them to escape. NO IT WAS TO TRAP THEM IN HERE WITH THIS MONSTER.' FUCK !!! I need to take my army and run. I will not sacrifice my shinobi to this monster.

"A friend of your's Onoki ?" The Mizukage asked

"No This man is not my friend. He can never be."

looking up towards me he shouted " Lucifer I did not know the uzumakis were affiliated with you. Iwa will retreat from this war. we don't seek any kind of violence from you."

"WHATTTT!!!!! Onoki You bastard. WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU SPOUTING? Iwa will reterat because of this single man. Have you no pride??" A shouted. The Mizukage remained silent but his eyes narrowed.

" Let me tell you something A. During the First ninja world war I and The second tsuchikage Mu were going to travel to konoha with 7000 shinobi to destroy it. But we were defeated and everyone was massacred except for me. This Man is the one who destroyed it all. His power is something that you cannot imagine. SO YES I WILL LET GO OF MY PRIDE IF IT MEANS SAVING MY PEOPLE."

"what !!" Both A and the Mizukage shouted. looking at me they wondering if what onoki said was true.

"Well onoki, it seems that you have a better head than you predecessor. But unfortunately you have gotten a wrong impression." Deepening my voice i continued," Who said that you can just leave like that?"

" What !!!" Onoki was stumped.

"You came for a war correct. I will give you war. HAHAHAHA". Raising my hand I made a fist and said," Inferno blaze."

A jet of blue flames left my hand towards the three kages at break neck speed. the kages used their superior speed to dodge the attack but the explosion it created alerted all the shinobi present there.

I waited for a few minutes for all the shinobi to gather together. finally they finished gathering. A looked up to me and said , " You might have been able to kill 7000 of Iwa's men but this time you will face the best of the best. There are 30,000 shinobis here and even shinobi of the caliber of hashirama will find it difficult. Prepare yourself, this day will be your last."

"I like your confidence though I don't know where you got it from. Hmm last time my student killed 6000 of your men so naturally you don't know me. very well this time I will show you why you should not be so confident in front of me."

A looked like he was ready to begin the fight, so I simply said , " OPEN SKILL <SPECTRAL GATE>SUMMON 50 S+ RANKED DEMONS "

<DING!! 50 REQUESTED SUCCESFUL. DEPLOYING S+ DEMONS>

A huge gate like structure appeared on the battlefield and 50 Humanoids with horns on their heads came out of it. Turning towards me they saluted with their hands over their hearts and waited for my instruction. turning towards the army i said " ARISE". I had around 15,000 shadow sholders who came up from the ground.

Narrowing my voice and pointing my hands at the coalition army I said," DESTROY THEM"

"AS YOU COMMAND MY LEIGE "

The demons let out a roar and charged towards the army with no fear in them. My shadows not to be outdone divided themselves into two groups and started attacking the army from the sides. Knowing that they will be enough to keep the army busy I turned towards the three kages.

"I am going to be your opponent"

A released his lightning armor and rushed towards me in high speeds. To the normal people it looked like a flash of black light but i could clearly see him approaching me with OBSERVATION HAKI. Just as he was about to touch me with his fist I made my move. Dodging towards right I formed a RAIKIRI in my left hand I infused sage chakra into it. slashing the arm upwards I was pleased to see the raikage flying through the air with a large gash from his left waist to right shuolder.

" That was dumb. You attacked me without any type of plan relying on your physique and speed. That was extremely foolish as I could have killed you with that last attack if I chose to pierce instead of slash. Without knowing or testing any of my abilities you choose to attack me head on. Who the fuck makes such a muscle bounded dumbass the Kage of their village?"

A was boiling in anger. He was so angry that he was going to rush to that bastard and show him why he was the raikage of kumo. Just as he was about to move the mizukage intervened." Don't do that. He is taunting you to make you loose your cool. Don't fall into his trap."

"Oh! So the Mizukage saw through it then." i said. " well then who is gonna be next?"

"I will attack him with Ice release. Onoki attack him with Particle style. A when you get the chance Bombard him with your black lightning."

"Although I don't like taking orders but for just this once I will cooperate with you" A replied. 

Onoki refrained from saying anything and just nodded his head. 

Folding some seals the MIzukage shouted;" ICE RELEASE ICE DRAGON JUTSU"

A giant ice dragon rose from the ground and attacked me. Covering my arms in ARMAMENT HAKI I punched the dragon right in its face. The entire structure stopped and collapsed breaking into hundreds of tiny fragments. Onoki who has appeared behind me clasped his hand and opened them a second later with a particle style jutsu ready.

"PARTICLE STYLE DETACHMENT OF THE PRIMITIVE WORLD"

Without turning back I created 2 Truth seeking orbs and used them to nullify onoki's dust release. The raikage had completed his seals in the meantime and shouted " LIGHTNING RELEASE BLACK FLASH" 

Raising my fist I used WIND STYLE WIND PALM to neutralize his attack. Vanishing from my spot I appeared in front of the mizukage . Turning my body in a horizontal way I kicked him straight in the ribs and sent him fying. Without wasting time I appeared behind the raikage and without giving him time to react I fused explosion type chakra in my hand and punched in straight in his ribcage. the explosion it created lifted the raikage into the air and threw him a few distances back . turning towards onoki i sent the two truth seeking orbs at high speed and pierced him through the chest and head. But the Onoki in the air turned out to be a mud clone. from behind me an earth dragon rose up and started shooting earth projectiles at me. Inhaling some air I breathed out a huge fire ball that clashed directly with the earth dragon and destroyed it. Feeling someone behind me I saw that the Raikage in his Lightning cloak was ready to attack me with his own hell's stab. Turning on my rinnegan I simply raised my hand and said" SHINRA TENSEI". the raikage bared the full brunt of the technique and was sent flying back. His right hand which he used for the attack was bent backwards and the skin in his hand was peeled off. 

The mizukage appeared a little distance from me and used " WATER STYLE THOUSAND FEEDING SHARKS" .Using the rinnegans preta path I raised my hand and started to absorb the jutsu. Using this situation Onoki quickly used " Particle Style Atomic Disintegration to attack me from behind. Not being able to react in time I was engulfed in the jutsu. When the jutsu ended there was no sign of me on the battlefield.

" DID WE GET THAT BASTARD" asked the raikage with his right hand dangling loosely from the elbow joint. 

" It seems so. I cannot feel his chakra nearby." Mizukage. 

"Stay on Guard. It is not so easy to kill a man of his caliber.

CLAP!! CLAP!!CLAP!! " Bravo , Well done guys. You truly have the qualifications to bear the name of kages , well except for the muscle head. Good job in destroying my shadow clone. Well then shall we continue this battle?" 

" HEY!! ARE YOU INSULTING ME ??" the raikage shouted.

" Was I being too subtle? Forgive me then " I replied with a smirk.

" AHHHHH!!!! FUCK YOU !!" A roared and charged straight at me.

" This again. Are you a one trick pony? How disappointing" 

I used the fingers of my hands to form a gun. Concentrating on the tip of the finger I used dust release to form a bullet like structure on it. Stabilizing the chakra I fired ten consecutive shots at the incoming raikage. the rikage dodged the first three but was not fast enough to dodge the rest. He came to a stop with seven holes in his body. One could see through his body from one side to the other. 

"You still have life left eh!?"

"FUCK YOU!!!"

These were the last words of the raikage before his body fell on the ground and the life left his body." So one is gone, how long will you guys last?" Looking over at the remaining two I could see that their chakra is almost half of its original size. Onoki tried to plead with me," Please just let us go. I know that killing us will bring you no use. We have not harmed a single uzumaki and already many of our shinobi are dead. Please let just stop this meaningless war. If you want I can promise you on the name of IWA that we will never harm the uzumaki or konoha ever again."

" Ok. First of all, lets clear a misunderstanding. I am not a protector of Konoha. I defended them in the Last war because of a promise to Hashirama nothing else. And for the uzumaki that I cannot forgive you for. Tell me Onoki have you ever thought how foolish you were?"

" What?"

" I hope you know that there is an Uzumaki who resides in Konoha, right?"

" Yes . Mito Uzumaki the wife of the first Hokage."

"Hmm. Tell me who gave you the routes to infiltrate and neutralize the defenses of the Uzumaki clan?"

" It was Danzo Shimura."

" Have you ever thought that maybe it was the Hokage who ordered Danzo to give you that intel?"

" But why?"

" Same reason you wanted to erase them. Although the uzumaki are a peaceful clan, they are no doubt one of the most powerful clan on the earth."

" So you mean that Hiruzen knew about your connection to the Uzumaki and deliberately send us the intel so that we attack them to kill them off with overwhelming numbers. In the meantime he hoped that you would show up to defend them. As a result destroying the armies as you did before. He hoped to weaken all the three nations and destroy the uzumaki clan in one fell swoop. I could have never imagined that the peace loving hokage would be such a manipulative person. And we like fools felt right into his trap. Damm." The mizukage said out loud and looked up at the sky.

Onoki looked ready to faint." DAMMM YOU SARUTOBI. YOU COCKSUCKING ASSFUCKED SON OF A BITCH. "

" And as for the thing you said before. This in fact is beneficial to me. Watch"

I moved towards the corpse of the raikage and extended my hand

Slowly a purplish gas began to escape from the body of the dead kage. Soon enough the shadow of the third raikage rose from the ground and kneeled before me. The other two kages were shocked and fell on their butts.

" WHH-AA-T?"

" This war is beneficial to me because you have brought your armies right to me for me to turn them into my army. Today no one of your men will leave this land. I will however give a chance to one of you to escape. you can battle it out against each other and decide who will leave this island alive. this is a promise I am making to you."

Both of them understood the implications of my words. They realized that their army and shinobis fate have already been decided. Looking at each other they resolved themselves to kill each other.

" May the best man win" The mizukage said with a sad smile...
