Chapter 11

Kaito aims at Jackie's stomach. Jackie blocks it with his palm.

Kaito jumps back as Jackie was about to kick his legs.

"You are strong. I think I will have to get serious." Jackie Chun said. His thoughts were 'That punch was harder than I thought. He is physical strength is equal to mine.'

"We are equally matched in physical strength. Now it all comes down to technique, skill and experience. You have the advantage in experience and I have in techniques." Kaito said and shot a energy ball at Jackie's leg.

Jackie managed to dodge it by jumping to the side but, the energy ball made a crater and Jackie was distracted.

Kaito used this moment and jumped at Jackie to kick him.

Jackie blocks it with his own kick and they cancel out each other.

They both exchange many blows, with each dodging, countering and blocking each other's attacks.

The audience were all looking at them with amazed faces which slowly turned into excited ones.

They all cheered for them, with Kaito getting all the cheers from the young girls.

Kaito and Jackie both jumped back and looked at each other.

Jackie put his hands hear his waist and said "Ka.. "

Kaito focused a little and made a triangle with his hands.

Jackie stopped charging and said "How can you use the Tri-beam? And do you know all about it?"

"Don't worry, I don't want to either die or reduce my lifespan. This is a little modified version which uses ki and the life energy from the surrounding. Since I can't attract the life energy from the surroundings, it's power has reduced." Kaito explained.

Jackie also started collecting his ki in his palms near his waves.

They both fired off their moves and both collided. A huge explosion and shockwaves were created from the clash.

Dust rose and the whole arena was covered with dust cloud. The announcer said "Both the contestants have launched some kind of move and they have collided. We can't see anything to come to any conclusion."

The dust slowly cleared and Jackie and Kaito were standing with their clothes torn. Jackie was breathing heavily while Kaito too was taking deep breaths but, Jackie looked more tired.

"You are too strong. Tell me one thing, why do you want to become stronger?" Jackie asked.

"I can't stand the fact that there is always someone stronger than you who can kill you in seconds. That's why I hated this world." Kaito replied.

Jackie smiled and said "Since you don't look that tired, I assume you held back and matched the power of my Kamehameha."

He then looked at the announcer and said "I give up."

The announcer shouts "The match was amazing but, Jackie Chun has given up. The winner is Kaito. And now about the next match. Since the stage has been destroyed, we will have to continue the tournament tomorrow."

The stage had a huge crater around 5 feet deep and was big enough to destroy most of the stage.

The audience left the place and the participants were given rooms to rest.

On their way to their rooms Bulma came running to Kaito and said "Wow Kaito, that was amazing. I don't know you could fight like that."

Then master Roshi comes and said "Yes, it indeed was amazing. The next generation has surpassed us."

Goku also said "Kaito, you were so cool."

Goku looks at Krillin and asks "Hey Krillin, why do you look nervous?"

"Of course I would be nervous. I am going to fight him next tomorrow." Krillin replied.

"Don't worry, I will go easy on you." Kaito said.

"That only makes me look pathetic." Krillin said.

The day went on and the next day, the stage was fixed. "Not bad, they managed to get it fixed overnight. But, no matter what you do, concrete shouldn't dry this quick." Bulma said.

"I helped them fix it." Kaito said and Bulma understood what happened. Kaito used his quirk and fixed the stage back to normal.

The matches started and the third match was between Goku and a dinosaur. He won after a small struggle. The next match also got over with Namu winning.

"Now, the next match is between Kaito, who has shown us a brilliant fight yesterday and the kid Krillin, who defeated his opponents in the preliminaries with a single move." the announcer said.

Kaito and Krillin both went to the stage and stood facing each other.

Krillin was nervous but, he still took his fighting stance.

The match started and Kaito decided to not waste time. He rushed at Krillin and tried to kick him but, he flipped back and avoided it.

When he was in air, he couldn't see. Kaito took advantage of this small opening and rushed at Krillin. He punched him I'm the stomach. Krillin bent forward and then went flying. He was close to the edge of the stage and was about to fall.

He somehow balanced himself and got back to the stage. Krillin then tried to attack Kaito with a flying kick but it went past Kaito's figure.

He went flying but, landed on the stage itself. Kaito appeared behind Krillin and says "Hello"

Krillin immediately turns and trues to punch but, it again passes through his figure.

Kaito appeared behind Krill and kicked him. He appeared before him again and punched him back, away from the edge of the stage.

He appeared above the flying Krillin and locked his hands to hammer him down but, his hands passed through his figure.

Krillin appeared behind Kaito and punched his face and Kaito blocked it with his hand.

They both land on the stage and look at each other. The audience, who were cheering for them, also became silent and were observing them with curiosity.

Then they heard some cracks and immediately after that Kaito started leaving the stage.

The audience were amazed that Kaito was giving up. Then they heard some sound and looked at Krillin, who was standing before, collapsed on the stage.

The announcer went to check Krillin and said "Krillin is unable to fight, Kaito is the winner."
