SCYTHE

"Yes, how long was I unconscious?" Asha asked, his face a mask of concern. Leach, seemingly unaffected by the gravity of the situation, replied in a calm and even tone, "97 hours."

Asha's mind reeled as he processed the implications of Leach's statement.

He had been unconscious for four days and at that he realised that when he gained consciousness he was standing on his feet, As Leach's words echoed in his mind, Asha's expression shifted from concern to panic. "Standing for four days," he thought, incredulous at the impossibility of it all.

The young master was caught in a vortex of conflicting emotions, his thoughts careening between the elation of his newfound skills and the stark reality of their cost. He had gained the skills he desired, but at the price of precious time, and perhaps even his standing in the mortal world.

As Asha processed the implications of his unconscious state, he felt the weight of the world upon his shoulders. Not only had he been deprived of precious time, but his plans for school, a crucial step in his journey, had been thrown into disarray.

"I was supposed to start school in 3 days ," he thought, despair creeping into his mind, "And now I've missed the ceremony",

Asha's thoughts continued to spiral as he attempted to comprehend the situation. The idea that he had missed the entrance ceremony, an event he had long anticipated and prepared for, was almost too much to bear.

"Why did gaining skills take so long?" he wondered, a sense of regret and self-recrimination coloring his thoughts.

With sudden clarity, Asha remembered an important detail, one that had been obscured by his panic. "Leach!" he exclaimed, a glimmer of hope sparking in his eyes.

"How much time has passed on Earth?" he asked, a sense of urgency coloring his voice.

Leach, stoic as ever, answered in a calm, even tone: "Two hours."

Asha could barely contain his astonishment. He had been unconscious for nearly a hundred hours in the underworld, yet only two had passed on Earth.

"So the underworld moves at a different pace," Asha thought, attempting to process the implications of Leach's statement. "Two hours on Earth, nearly a hundred here. Incredible."

Asha's mind, still reeling from the revelation of the temporal differences between the underworld and Earth, was suddenly snapped back into focus by a menacing presence. From the shadows of the grand room, a massive, obsidian scythe emerged, its deadly blade glinting in the torchlight.

The scythe moved with a singular purpose, cleaving through the air with an unnatural speed that belied its size and weight.

Asha, still in shock from the sudden appearance of the scythe, reacted on instinct, launching himself backwards in a swift, agile movement. The razor-sharp blade, its deadly path narrowly thwarted, sliced cleanly through a lock of Asha's hair, a chilling reminder of its lethal intent.

As Asha righted himself, dusting off his clothes and regaining his composure, he stared in disbelief at Leach, the giant who had just attempted to strike him down.

"Why?" Asha demanded, his voice trembling with a mix of anger and confusion.
