"No wonder he didn't use that trump card from the get go. Imagine what would've happened if we were caught up in such an attack....what a monster...." Himeno smiled, as she raised her eye and glanced towards the talk and awe inspiring figure levitating in the sky like a deity.

Several ambulances and devil Hunter SUV's had pulled up outside the now destroyed Hotel Moreno.
In one of the ambulances, Denji who was now conscious, was strapped to a stretcher, but a wide grin remained in his face, while he looked towards the figure before him.
"I'm glad you're okay, Satoru." He smiled and said before closing his eyes, as he pulled into the ambulance. Meanwhile, Satoru only smiled and winked at him, before turning around and walking to the rest of the team.
Power had also been taken away for immediate treatment, due to immense injuries just like Denji. Currently, only Aki, Himeno, Kobeni and Arai remained at the site, receiving treatment from several nurses while filing reports to the Devil Hunter superiors.
"To think we almost died on this mission...." Himeno who was currently getting treated due to the bruises on her hands and face smiled and said.
"I think I'm going to develop a PTSD for hotels after this." Arai sighed, as he sipped the coffee from a small cup in his hand.
"Who would've thought such destruction could be caused from one attack. I mean if you guys hadn't told me, I would've never believed it." Arai continued failing to notice Satoru walking towards him.
He wasn't wrong though. The so called trump card from Satoru, had caused immense destruction spanning a few kilometers. It felt both unreal and unnatural to them who weren't used to seeing such battle casualties.
Noticing the shadow of a figure walking towards them, he turned around and freaked out, seeing the handsomely sculpted face of the white haired young man.
Satoru only smiled, and shrugged, before looking at Aki and the rest. "Sa-Satoru. I want to thank you for saving my life." Kobeni surprisingly stood up and bowed slightly, offering thanks with a rather firm gaze.
"It's alright." Satoru smiled and sat on an empty chair beside them, while rubbing his eyes in exhaustion.
He checked his pockets the next moment, and picked up a white piece of cloth, before he closed his eyes and blindfolded himself and heaved a sigh of relief.
"I think we all should celebrate after all the paperwork is done. What do you guys think?" Himeno suggested with a small smile.
"It's a good idea, but I'm definitely not paying." Satoru wittingly said with a chuckle, which caused Himeno and Aki to roll their eyes.
"Come on. After receiving your first pay cheque, it's only fair that you treat your teammates to some meat and alcohol." She insisted. "You guys are rather supposed to flatter me with gifts for saving your asses back there. You know of it wasn't for me, and my awesome abilities, you would've been toast." Satoru argued back, a cocky smile plastered all over his face, while the others scrunched their noses in distaste.
"Stingy jerk!" Himeno immediately walked away with a cold harrumph, as Arai and Kobeni followed behind, leaving only him and Aki seated with smiles.
"You know, you're right. You did save our asses back there, and we owe you one." Aki bower his head slightly, offering a sincere thank you to the one who saved their butts from the Eternity Devil.
"Don't mention it." Satoru smiled. "Anyway, I recently thought of something." He said with a slightly concerned look. "Have you guys ever tried grading the devils or classifying them?" Aki raised an eyebrow at his question.
"Think about it. We could classify or grade the devils according to the sheer output of their negative energy. Grading the devils should allow the Devil Hunters to grasp the danger level of the devils they face." Satoru said, but Aki remained skeptical.
"Interesting proposition Satoru.." Satoru was about to continue when a voice rang out, which made him pause momentarily and turn around. Behind him, Makima walked towards them with both of her hands in her pockets, and a smile adorned on her face.
"Ms. Makima." Aki stood up immediately, despite his injuries and bowed slightly, while Satoru remained seated and even yawned while scratching his non existent beard.
"I'll consult with the upper echelons on your proposition." She smiled and sat down beside them, and gestured for Aki to do same.
"You saved the lives of your fellow Devil Hunters while at the same time executing the mission. Not bad, at least thanks to you, we didn't lose such talented hunters." She smiled and spoke, but the condescending look in her eyes was unmistakable, which caused Satoru to frown a bit.
"It's alright." He replied and crossed his legs, while raising his chin, with a smile, pride radiating right from within his core.
"Anyway, the Association decided to increase the amount we promised to offer after completing the mission." She said, as Aki and Satoru glanced at her in surprise.
"Instead of the 5000 we were going to offer you, now we're going to pay you 9000 instead for the mission." She said and stood up smilingly.
"I'll leave both of you here. Aki return to the HQ as possible to file the mission report. See you next time..." She waved at them, before walking away with steady steps.
"Oi Aki, how strong is Makima?" Watching her figure disappear into the crowd, Satoru asked and glanced at Aki who was currently in deep thought.
"I can't really gauge her strength, and I've only seen her in action once." Aki replied, and reclined in his seat with a sigh.
"Compared to me, how strong is she?" Satoru pressed on with another question. If it wasn't necessary, then he didn't want to become enemies with her. Not because he was afraid, although the sheer output of his negative energy outclassed her in both quality and quantity, energy levels weren't the only deciding factors in a battle.
On the surface she looked harmless and outgoing, but Satoru could sense the fierce and outright demanding aura which sometimes let out of her body uncontrollably.
Well, compared to you, then even I don't know. I've seen you in action many times, but I have only seen her in action once, so I can't judge." Aki said, as his gaze peered into the deep blue sky.
"Fair enough. See you next time, Aki." Satoru smiled, before walking into one of the SUV's and ordered the driver to take him back to the HQ.
