Future Settlement

Arthas knew he had to tread carefully, for dealing with shadowy figures often came with unforeseen consequences.

Gathering his wits about him, Arthas met the hooded man's gaze and replied, "I have access to resources that could prove valuable to someone of your... talents. If the information you provide proves to be accurate, then we can discuss a mutually beneficial arrangement."

A faint smile tugged at the corners of the hooded man's lips, his eyes glittering with a mixture of amusement and something darker that sent a chill down Arthas's spine.

"Very well, Arthas. I shall provide you with the information you seek, but remember, a debt must always be repaid."

Arthas nodded, his heart pounding in his chest as he mentally braced himself for whatever lay ahead.

As the hooded man began to divulge the details of the coveted lands and their proximity to a gold mine, Arthas listened intently, committing every word to memory.

But as the conversation progressed, a nagging feeling crept up on him, a sense of unease that whispered warnings of impending danger.

Suddenly, the sound of heavy footsteps approaching from behind made Arthas stiffen in his seat, his instincts screaming at him to flee.

Before he could react, a hand clamped down on his shoulder with an iron grip, causing him to tense in alarm.

Arthas turned around to see two burly men standing over him, their expressions dark and menacing.

"We've been looking for you, boy," one of the men growled, his voice dripping with malice.

Arthas's heart raced as he tried to formulate a plan, his mind racing through possible escape routes.

Before he could make a move, the hooded man sitting across from him stood up slowly, his eyes glinting with an unknown resolve.

"Release him," the hooded man commanded in a voice that brooked no argument.

The two men hesitated for a moment, sizing up the mysterious figure before reluctantly letting go of Arthas.

As they backed away, the hooded man turned to face Arthas, his features shrouded in shadows.

"You have what you came for, Arthas. Remember our arrangement," he said cryptically before disappearing into the smoky depths of the tavern.

Arthas was left reeling from the encounter, his mind whirling with a mix of confusion and gratitude.

As he gathered his thoughts and made his way out of the tavern, the weight of the information he had obtained settled heavily on his shoulders.

The hooded man's warning echoed in his mind, reminding him that nothing in this world came without a price.

But Arthas knew that he had already embarked on a path that would shape not only his own destiny but also the fate of those he held dear.

As the sun dipped below the horizon and cast long shadows across the land.

Arthas finally returned within the safety confines of his palace.

He sat alone in his dimly lit room, a map spread out on the table in front of him.

Then studied every detail, checking and re-checking his plans to ensure there were no loopholes or contingencies that could derail his ultimate goal.

His brow furrowed in concentration as he traced the routes and marked potential obstacles.

The flickering candlelight cast eerie shadows on the walls, adding an air of tension to the already intense atmosphere.

Arthas knew that any mistake could cost him everything, and he was determined to leave nothing to chance.

The reason why he went to such a suspicious in the first place is to meet up with an information broker he knows about in the game from his past life.

To gather information for a place for the future refugees of Stormwind to settle down and a base of operations for himself in the future.

He was confident that once he met up with the broker, because he knew he would be in safe hands.

Because based on his experience spent in this world, most of what he knew about the game and the world he lives in now matches.

The broker in the game had always kept his identity hidden but one thing he knows for sure, the race of the person is that of a night elf.

Night elves don't typically make their existence known to the humans, most people think they are just creatures from fairy tales but they are in fact real.

This night elf information broker is someone I discovered in the game to be very powerful and reason why it's hiding and working as an info provider.

It is because they were outcasted, for reasons unknown.

But the individual is said to uphold their promises and keep their dealings confidential.

Most importantly during the exchange, the elf will in no doubt protect the buyer under any means necessary.

This is why Arthas gambled his safety, but of course after thinking it through deeply.

Sacrifices must be made in this world if you want to make a difference, there's no path that is safe, risks must be taken to get what you want and this incident proved that.

As Arthas mulls over the new information in his hands, he considers the potential for exchange.

The Night Elves, like other elf races, are intimately connected to the World Tree.

However, this particular night elf has had their connection severed, the cause of which remains a mystery.

To retain their former blessings, they must turn to the energy of the night elves' sacred moonwells.

Glowing with a silvery light, these stone pools serve as reservoirs of magical water created by the night elves.

Bound to the magic of nature and infused with the moonlight of Elune, they possess powerful restorative properties and are revered as places of healing for both land and beings.

Thankfully, in the System's shop, Arthas can purchase bottles filled with moonwell waters in exchange for valuable information.

But that's not all - there is also a blueprint available for constructing a moonwell.

However, its exorbitant price makes it an unattainable luxury for now.

Still, it remains a crucial part of Arthas' grand plans for the future.
