Chapter 5 Magical Growth Spurt (2)

Cecilia woke up to the sound of snoring as she look up she saw Rainier snoring on her shoulder. She pushed him away and noticed the bright sunlight outside.

"Rainier, it's today, my ceremony is today!" Cecilia exclaimed as she looked back to find Rainier still asleep.

"Wake up!!" Cecilia kicked Rainier causing him to go flying across the room.

As moments past and Rainier is icing his back as a maid brought them breakfast.

"The Ceremony is tonight. My dress looks so amazing I look like a Empress in this. The cloak of velvet and the crown is so lovely. Is it true that the ceremonial clothes grow with you?"

"Yes it is! It's fascinating, infact I want to see you grow up it's weird." Rainier said awkwardly as he winced from the pain earlier. "Besides House Seraphim have the most beauties out of the kingdom."

"Stop...!" Cecilia growled as she marched over to get dressed in another room. As the palace was in an uproar, Xander was yelling at the palace staff.

"How can you let her leave! I never gave Clair permission to leave! Now, she's missing her sister's coming-of-age party to gain her powers NOW?!" Xander rubbed the temples of his head as a weary Cecilia came out. "I would have only one good daughter if House of Ophelia never drugged me after Stellar's death..."

"Clair, left?" Cecilia questioned as she walked a bit further into the throne room. "What do you mean drug?"

"Well, Clair wasn't born with decent and humble beginnings. Her birth caused a fight in the noble society and her being from that house made her birth even more suspicious. It's normal for your mother's house to marry into the royal families but Ophelia was more of a quiet and deceiving house by nature they rather cause problems from behind the scenes even though they are one of the most neutral houses of the Heavens."

"Well if that house loves to mess with the order of the royal family...Shouldn't the current Heavenly Emperor above father, should do something?"

"Nah, when the current house leader steps up they will realize their punishment. Now go get ready for your ceremony! This conversation already gave me a headache."

Cecilia was shooed out by the maids as she stroll back with Rainier who was walking behind her to her room.

"I guess...I'll see you later, Rainier..." Cecilia go into her room but stop as she heard him speak.

"We are close and we are engaged. When you get to the Academy you will have a hard time if you dont use my nickname. Call me Rain."

"Rain..." Cecilia said softly before she blushed and run in causing Rainier to smile before walking to his room.

The day grew lively everyone across the kingdom and other neighboring kingdoms flocked over to see the Crown Princess of this powerful country named after this royal family. The ballroom filled with chatter as even Rainier parents were happy to attend chatting with Xander.

"The little Princess is growing today."

"She's not as little remember royalty and nobles that contain primordial blood doesn't age up until one of their respective houses pass of their ancestor pass them after trails."

The ballroom filled with chatter even more as Cecilia walked out in a poofy white gown off shoulder gown, laced with gold and the former Empress crown adorned her head as this moment was a big deal for her.

"She adorned the crown of her mother. Such a flail child, I feel for her."

"If her mother was alive...She misses her so much to adorn her crown."

Xander stood up at the throne as he watch Cecilia walk towards him. Tears ran down his face causing the ball to be shocked to watch the Emperor cry. The church choir sang in the background as he reached out a hand to Cecilia.

"Come, my dear child. You have worn your mother's crown to honor her. Your mother would be proud to watch you wear her most famous crown that she wore at her coronation." Cecilia grabbed his hand pleased with a smile as she turn around she noticed a smug look on Rainier's face as he laughed to himself.

"Thank you, father."

"Now kneel before the Holy Throne."

Cecilia kneeled before the throne and Xander stepped out of the way for her to get her space as he raised his hand a scepter appeared. As he pointed the scepter a beam of light charged out.

"With the Crown of Domineer and the powers of the Great Seraphine Seraphim! Cecilia Luxo Aetos, you have fulfilled your duty as a princess and have earned your powers! May the Heavenly Emperor bless you enjoy your years!" As the beam hit Cecilia she suddenly grew a bit taller and her form went from looking like a child to a gorgeous young lady. Everyone gasped as the young girl looked exactly like the former Empress.

"She looks like Empress Stellar, of course she is a Seraphim."

"Wow, she is gorgeous!"

Rainier eyes widdened as the youthful girl stood up even more revealing her gracious form. He was speechless as Cecilia blushed and turned away.

"As your noble princess I will continue to grow and prosper! I will make sure the kingdom keeps growing!"

She smiled and Xander put a robe on Cecilia as she happily accepts it. She walked towards the crowd and everyone toast to her transformation.

Meanwhile in the House of Ophelia...

"Again!"

Clair flew in the air as she hit a wall as malicious energy flow off of her. As she breath in she jumped towards her opponent as she raises her sword.

"Weak, Clair! YOU ARE WEAK!" The hooded figure said as she knocked Clair back.

"Mom...Clair been working all day...Give her time to active her ability. Besides she is a royal princess." Tila said as she rubbed her arm uncomfortable.

"We have 3 abilities and she can't activate even one? At this point that Seraphim brat is way ahead. Not only if we do the same thing we did to Stellar she has the crown of domineering power!" The hooded figure called out to Tila as she turned away.

"Grandma, I can do it keep going!"

"Good, again!"

Clair went flying a little too far covered in the Hellfire ball as she flew she fell into some bushes.

"Ugnh..." Clair moved a bit but passed out.

"Clair!" Tila screamed as she rushed to Clair's side and the hooded figure "tsk'ed" in disappointment.

"Get some rest, Clair. I won't go easier on you since you survive that attack." The hooded figure walked away leaving the duo to their own devices. Clair bared her teeth as she got up.

'Cecilia, you caused this. If only you died!'
