Seal the Beasts: Vamera

We travelled to the Third Sakura District and went on the hunt for Vamera. I looked at Misao and noticed she looked exhausted. I stopped her and found a bench she could sit down on. She was panting softly and I looked at her worried then held her shoulders. She grunted and held her chest. She had slight dark aura coming from her chest.

"I'm running out of time...Hisumi. Fallan is slowly gaining power over me. I can't fight it for any longer." Misao said and smiled softly.

"Please, fight it for a bit longer..! We need you for this last battle. You're the only one who can seal Vamera away." I said sadly and gripped her shoulders a bit tighter.

Misao looked at me and placed her hand against my chest and my body shined a bit. I looked at myself and she closed her eyes. "I've given you the power of a Miko. Miko Hisumi, Ruler of Lightning...you can now seal away Vamera. I just need to rest a bit. I'll be here when you're done.."

I looked at Misao then let her go slowly. I gently laid her down on the bench and closed my eyes. "I'll be sure to make quick work of Vamera." I said then opened my eyes and walked off.

Orimi followed me and looked back at Misao. She looked back forward and noticed I was running ahead. She ran after me.

I heard a lioness's roar and looked ahead. I noticed fireballs shooting towards us and I dodged majority of them then summoned Aermyth to deal with the fireballs I couldn't dodge. I dove to the ground then rolled forward, avoiding a fireball then summoned my sword. My Eyes of Raijin formed in my eyes and I transformed into my Ruler Form then used a burst of speed to move flawlessly to Vamera at high speeds.

"So fast.." Orimi said then looked determined and looked at the sky. The moon was still out and she began to draw power from the moon.

I noticed Vamera ahead and her fur was made of flames and her roars summoned fireballs that were shot directly at me. I dodged the fireballs then jumped from building to building until I landed on a rooftop. I held my hand in the sky then thunderclouds began to form.

"What the-" Orimi noticed her lunar powers were being weakened and she looked in the sky, noticing the thunderclouds.

Multicolored lightning crackled around my hand then I looked at Vamera and bellowed as I swiped my hand down. I used the Heaven-Shattering Starfall against her and an explosion happened. Powerful winds blew and Orimi grunted as she covered her face from the debris.

I looked at the gigantic smoke cloud and my eyes shined. The smoke began to clear and Vamera roared loudly and her flames grew stronger. She began to undergo a transformation. Her body shined gold and golden horns protruded from her head. She had transformed into a Nemean Lion. I looked at her and raised my hand in the air again. Lightning surrounded my hand and I swiped my hand down once again, striking her but she seemed to be immune to my lightning abilities now.

"Elemental Immunity now..? How strong is this lioness anyway?" I asked myself then jumped off the building.

I vanished and multiple slashes hit Vamera and she didn't even flinch nor stagger once. She took the attacks and once I reappeared she swiped her claws at me. I blocked the attack, but was still sent flying in the air. She dashed forward and ran along the building then leaped towards me. I opened my eyes and looked at Vamera then vanished, leaving behind a speed clone then appeared above her. I flew down towards her, attempting to stab her neck, but mane made of flames protected her then the mane disappeared.

"She's powerful enough to give Hisumi this hard of a time...Come on stupid clouds, move..!" Orimi said then the clouds began to slowly disperse. She smiled and began to resume charging her energy once again.

I landed on the ground then dashed towards Vamera. She roared and pushed me backwards with her sound waves. I grunted and covered my ears. I was deafened temporarily then once I got my hearing back, I heard Orimi screaming at me to move out the way. I looked at Vamera noticing she was charging up a massive fireball.

She roared and unleashed the fireball towards me. I moved out of the way but the fireball curved towards me and I looked surprised. She roared to paralyze me and I couldn't move. I looked at the fireball in shock then an explosion happened. Aermyth spread her wings and roared loudly and I looked at Aermyth then smiled.

"You saved me. Thank you." I nodded at her.

She nodded back then ran to Vamera. She used her talons to strike Vamera, but Vamera countered with her own attack. They two beasts were going at it blow for blow. Vamera rammed her horns into Aermyth and Aermyth roared in pain as her wings were pierced. Aermyth blasted the top of Vamera's head with her beam, but to no avail. Vamera charged forward and sent Aermyth crashing through multiple buildings.

"Aermyth!" I yelled and ran after them.

There was some hatred behind Vamera's attack for Aermyth as she knew exactly who Aermyth was. Vamera kept charging forward while surrounding them in flames. Aermyth struggled to escape and whined loudly.

I rushed after them and my heart thumped hard. Orimi ran after me and tried to catch up. Everything moved in slow motion as Vamera was slowly killing off Aermyth.

Vamera roared and blasted Aermyth against her statue then roared loudly in triumph. Aermyth laid on the ground and suffered irrecoverable burns on her body.

I finally caught up to them and noticed how badly Aermyth was damaged. "Aermyth!" I yelled and ran to her. I got down on the ground and checked on her.

Aermyth looked at me and whined softly. I held her head and looked at her sadly.

"I'm already about to lose Misao...I can't lose you as well." I said then used my green lightning to try and heal her, but it wasn't working.

Aermyth looked at me and closed her eyes. Words appeared above her head out of her own blood. "Stop it...You can't heal me this time. You'll only be making this harder for the both of us.."

I looked at Aermyth after reading her message and teared up a bit. I placed my forehead against hers and she gave a happy whine. She slowly died in my arms. She slowly dispersed into energy particles and I looked at the particles. I closed my hands into fists then my hair covered my eyes. I stood up slowly and wiped my eyes.

I turned around and black lightning surrounded my body. I looked at Vamera in pure rage and raised my hand to the sky, creating a powerful thundercloud.

Vamera roared at me and heard the thunder booming loudly.

"This destructive energy...the black lightning is similar to what Yoshida does when he combines his dark manipulation and his lightning manipulation." Orimi said and looked at the sky.

The lightning grew uncontrollable, but I was able to tame the lightning and the thunder boomed louder than before. I yelled and swiped my hand down then a large bolt of destructive lightning crashed down onto Vamera. She roared in pain as my lightning bypassed her Elemental Immunity. Her golden coat cracked and she roared in pain louder.

I growled loudly and bellowed then added my red lightning with the black lightning. Her golden coat shattered and the lightning began to effect her ten times worse. My eyes shined brightly then an explosion happened.

Misao opened her eyes and noticed the massive explosion then sat up slowly. "What the..."

Orimi yelled as she was blown away. She formed a lance out of the dirt and stuck it into the ground to prevent herself from being blown away too far.

I panted and fell to my knees and Aermyth's whistle fell out of my pocket and I looked at it. I picked it up and gripped it tightly in my hand, clenching my teeth. The smoke cleared and Vamera slowly dispersed into energy particles. A woman with long golden hair fell to the ground and laid down face first. I looked up and stood up slowly. I grunted as I began to suffer the repercussions of using the Ominous Lightning. I slowly made my way to the woman and summoned a talisman then fell on my knees beside her.

I looked at the woman and held the talisman to her and began to seal her and Vamera away then I slowly burned the talisman, making it impossible for her to come back to the physical world.

"One more..." I said then felt my heart aching. I gripped my chest and laid down on the ground, exhausted.

Orimi looked at me and hurried to me. She turned me over and noticed I was just resting. She looked in my hand and noticed me holding a whistle tightly. She sat beside me and rested my head on her lap, allowing me to rest comfortably.

Misao felt Vamera's presence was no more then smiled. She stood up and looked at her hand and noticed her skin turning gray bit by bit. "Good job...All there is left is me. She knows where to meet me when she's ready to seal me away."

She stood up and slowly made her way back to the First Sakura District.

A few hours passed and I opened my eyes, noticing Orimi was asleep while I rested my head on her lap. I sat up and grunted because of the sunlight. I blocked my eyes from the sunlight and looked at Orimi then softly shook her shoulder.

Orimi slowly woke up and yawned then stretched. She looked at me and smiled. "You're awake. I'm glad."

I looked at my hand, noticing I still had the whistle in my hand. I stood up slowly then walked over to where Aermyth died and placed the whistle down on the ground. I placed my hands in my pockets then turned away and walked off.

"Let's go. We need to go to the First Sakura District." I said.

Orimi nodded and stood up then followed me.

"I have a request." I said.

"What is it?" She asked and looked at me.

"I want to fight Misao by myself. You are not to intervene no matter how badly things become. This is something I have to do alone." I said.

"What if you die?" She asked.

"I can just heal my body with my electricity subconsciously by using my Gem of Lightning. I just want to be the one to deal with Misao in a one on one battle." I said.

"Okay." Orimi nodded.

We continued to make our way to the First Sakura District.
