"Can you hear me, little ones?" When we heard that deep voice, it sent chills down both of our spines. As we approached the source of the voice, we were met with an imposing sight - a massive dragon.

"Geh! A dragon!!!!!!" my brother exclaimed, clearly in a state of panic. I, too, felt fear coursing through me, but I managed to calm myself.

"Hey, let's respond to him," I suggested to my brother, and he reluctantly agreed. My brother tried to reply, but it seemed his voice wouldn't come out. I could tell because the dragon offered no response.

"Oi! Can you hear me or not? It would be nice to get a response!" The dragon's voice boomed, causing both of us to stumble comically.

"Too loud, old man," my brother quipped without thinking.

"Oi, Oniisan! You said that to a dragon?" I chided my brother.

"… Ho, hoho! To call me 'Baldy,' you must be quite bold! It's been a long time since I've had any company, so perhaps I didn't start off on the right foot," the dragon said.

This revelation made both of us freak out. After all, we possessed unique abilities, and we couldn't underestimate our potential adversary.

"Cho...! Then I have no choice! I'll become your friend! Show me your gratitude!" the dragon exclaimed.

"Just can't be honest, can you? Well, glad to know you," my brother responded and extended a hand made of slime. We all fist-bumped, sealing our newfound friendship.

"From today onwards, we three shall be sworn frien- No, brothers!" the dragon declared.

"Sigh... what a turn of events," I thought to myself.

My brother, attempted to analyze the Infinite Prison, but his efforts were in vain. He then asked the dragon if we could enter his stomach for analysis. Surprisingly, our dragon friend agreed.

"But before that, I shall give you two a name. You may also give me one, and this name will signify that we are equals," our dragon elder brother proposed.

"You didn't like it?" my brother asked, sounding dejected and falling to the ground.

"IT'S FANTASTIC...AS OF TODAY, I WILL BE CALLED VELDORA TEMPEST!!!!" the dragon proclaimed excitedly.

"And I shall grant you a name, Rimuru," the dragon continued. "And you, Emeric," he said, looking at me. I felt the name "EMERIC TEMPEST" engraved on my soul.

"I am Rimuru Tempest," my brother declared. "Rimuru..." Veldora called out. "Veldora Tempest," my brother added. Veldora nodded, then turned to me.

"I am Emeric Tempest," I said, and Veldora called out my name.

"Okay, I'm going to eat you now. Break out of the Infinite Imprisonment already," Rimuru said.
