encounter with unknown

CHAPTER : 30

(continuation of the previous chapter):

Isabelle : be grateful that I decided to stop and answer you, kid.

(after Isabelle finished talking, Arthur instantly creates an arrow with mana, which appears to be in light green colour, made out of wind elemental Mana and shoots it straight towards Isabelle, Isabelle face was covered with shock after seeing Arthur's Mana attack, Isabelle was about to release her Mana, she notices that the arrow shot by Arthur was not directly aimed at her but was aimed a little away from her, To be precise the attack was towards her right side of her head, above her shoulder).

(after realising, Isabelle quickly leans toward her left side, allowing the attack to pass, she notices that a fire element Mana attack was collided by Arthur's wind elemental Mana, just beside her head. Isabelle, realising that they were under attack she quickly arms herself with two daggers she was carrying on her back. Arthur rushes towards Isabelle and leans his back against hers, and says):

Arthur : care  to  explain, what's going on around here.

Isabelle : trust me, I would like to know that myself.

(shortly after, both Arthur and Isabelle were surrounded by many people. These people appear to be in a black dress, covering them self's entirely, Only their eyes were visible. Isabelle, question's them by shouting "who are you people". Every one remains silent, No one makes a sound so Isabelle shouts again "I said who the hell are you people", no one answers yet again.)

Isabelle (inner thoughts) : who the hell are these people, by the looks of it they appear to be bandits and The worst part is they are strong, very, very strong, If I were alone I might have escaped with a bit of effort and alerted the royal guards, but I don't think I can do that now with this kid around.

(before Isabelle could come up with a plan, every one surrounding them starts attacking Arthur and issuable with fire and earth elemental Mana spells. Arthur quickly absorbers a large amount of Mana and conjures a rotating wind barrier around himself and isabelle, Everyones attacks get candled out after colliding with Arthur's wind barrier. Impressed by Arthur's quick thinking and reaction, Isabelle says "not bad kid".)

(Arthur was about  to say 'thank you", before the words could come out of his mouth, Arthur coughs blood. Isabelle with a shocking and scared face says, "kid what's happening to you, are you alright". Before Arthur could say anything, he feels his heart beat slowing down, and light hearted, Arthur falls on his knees while trying to take long breath's with havy gasping).

(one of the masked members says, "every one hold your attack" and says while looking at Arthur):

I was wondering when this was going to happen kid, At first I thought it would be a simple job, first kill the girl and then the little boy, I'll admit it I was surprised with that kid's Mana counter-attack, though, I am still surprised about the amount of Mana he could weld at such a young age,  Unfortunately both of you need to die today. it's really a shame.

Isabelle : who the f*ck are you guys, and what the reason behind attacking us.

 Same masked man: I am the leader of this bandit group and we kill our prey before robeing them, and I don't think you need to know more.

Isabelle(inner thoughts) : I need to think of something really fast, if I make one care less move, both of us could die here.

(after hearing the bandit group leader's words, Arthur quickly attacks the leader with a wind Mana arrow, Arthur shoots the Mana arrow towards the leader's face instantly after hearing his words. Arthur's attack cuts the banded group's leader's cheek very deeply, for which Arthur replays with a smug smile and an evil grin on his face, and says" your were saying"..., Furies and frustrated by Arthur's attack, the leader attacks Arthur by throwing a knife towards Arthur, Arthur try his best to doge the attack but fails and gets injured, the knife stabs Arthur just below his hart.)

Leader of the bandit group : *evil laugh* nice kid, you were able to doge my attack, I aimed straight for your hart,  good reflects, you were the first to notices my knife and doge it, I commend you on that.

(Isabelle, was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't notice the bandit leader's attack towards Arthur in time, when she noticed, it was already too late. After seeing Arthur's blood, Isabelle gets flashbacks of her father and mother getting attacked when she was little, Moments after that Isabelle laughs loudly in an unusual way and starts attacking every one with incredible speed at random. After seeing Isabelle attack like that, Arthur thought to himself).

Arthur (inner thought) : what the heck is happening with Isabelle, it almost feels like she lost her senses. I sense a tremendous rage from her, what's going on, here.
