When Serene was busy having a good time with everyone. People of the Chandra Kingdom was still suffering. Cruel nobles and power holders were torturing, sexually abusing and killing people. If it isn't cursed enough because of the heavy downfall of the rain, crop fields were totally destroyed. This leads the kingdom an living hell.

But that's not the case for the rulers. King Birendra VI were happily living his his life even though he is already seventy years old. Chandra kingdom had a long history. It's one of the oldest kingdom in this NEXUS WORLD. King Birendra Chandra is the 87th king in his kingdom.

He inherited the throne in the early age. He was twenty years old at that time. He killed his younger brother upon inheriting the throne. His younger brother was sixteen years old. King Birendra Chandra is vicious, cunning and brave. He can do anything to maintain his reign.

In a meeting room of the Royal Castle in the Chandrapur, the royal capital of the Chandra Kingdom, King Birendra Chandra looks really furious.

"What did you say? How dare Duke Desai refused to pay tax?"

He slapped the table and said that in mad.

"I am sorry, your Majesty. Duke Desai said he couldn't afford to pay the taxes because of monster outbreak and heavy rain. You know how worse the situation is." Finance Minister Aarti said.

Lady Aarti, a young and brilliant finance minister in the Kingdom of Chandra. At 27 years old, Lady Aarti is a rising star in the court of King Birendra, known for her strategic thinking, shrewd negotiation skills, and an unflinching commitment to her duties.

Lady Aarti's striking beauty is often the subject of admiration and jealousy among her peers, but she uses her charm and wit to disarm any detractors and win them over to her side. Despite her youth, Lady Aarti has an impressive track record of successful financial policies, which have maintained kingdom's economy and helped King Birendra maintain his rule.

However, Lady Aarti's cunning and ambition have made her some powerful enemies. Some members of the court see her as a threat to their own positions and have plotted against her. But Lady Aarti is always one step ahead, using her intelligence and resourcefulness to outmaneuver her foes and protect her position.

In summary, Lady Aarti is a brilliant and beautiful finance minister in the Kingdom of Chandra, known for her cunning, ambition, and unyielding dedication to her duties. She serves under King Birendra, who relies on her expertise to keep the kingdom prosperous and secure.

As a niece of the Duke Desai, she does have a soft spot for him. King Birendra also knows that. But it can't be helped. She is unparalleled in the field of finance.

"But he has earned money from subjugating the monsters, right? What about that? He can afford to pay the tax." King Birendra said while controlling himself.

"Your Majesty, according to the report, most of the monsters this time were goblin types. They are not edible. So, only thing they could do is to sell the bones. He wants to use those money to buy foods. Otherwise, people will start rebellion against us. You know the condition of the kingdom right?" Lady Aarti said.

"Tsk, that shrewd bastard. Well, make a report and tell him to send 50% additional tax in the next time." King Birendra Said with dignified look.

"Yes. As you wish, Your Majesty." Saying that she bowed and sit again in her chair.

"But your majesty, what will you do about the upcoming events? Kingdom of Mandalay is began to prepare their military field. You know whose their target. Indus Empire certainly is silent about this matter, but we can't just ignore the fact that we will have to engage a war against Kingdom of Mandalay. We needs money and foods for that." The prime minister Rajeev objected.

"Yeah, we needs to recruit more knights. Besides, our equipment are really old. If we don't order some new equipment, we might lose the war." General Ranjit said.

General Ranjit is a highly respected commander in the army of the Chandra kingdom, known for his fierce loyalty, strategic mind, and battle-hardened experience. He is a tall, imposing figure with broad shoulders and a chiseled physique that reflects years of rigorous training and combat.

General Ranjit is a man of few words, preferring to let his actions speak for themselves. He is fiercely devoted to King Birendra and the Chandra kingdom, and will stop at nothing to protect them from harm. His unwavering determination and fearlessness have earned him the respect and admiration of his fellow soldiers.

General Ranjit is a skilled warrior, equally adept at using swords, spears, and other weapons. He is a master strategist, able to anticipate his enemies' moves and outmaneuver them in battle. His military tactics have helped to secure many victories for the Chandra kingdom.

Overall, General Ranjit is a powerful and respected figure in the Chandra kingdom, admired for his strength, courage, and unwavering commitment to his king and his country.

"That's a problem too. Tell, all the people to pay a certain amount of additional tax this time. Nobles have to specially help us with their money. If a noble refuse to pay money, his status as a noble will be revoked. He will be treated as a normal citizen." King Birendra said while drinking the wine.

"Your Majesty, I don't really mind about nobles money. Even though your decision could make some insects among us, nobles, furious. But I am somewhat stuck on the idea about imposing more tax onto the citizens." Lady Aarti said.

"If someone dare to object or plan to betray the kingdom, just directly capture his family and kill that bastard." King said.

"As you wish, your majesty." They nodded.

"By the way, where is Ravi?" King Birendra asked.

"It seems crown prince is sleeping. He seems to be tired. He had a lot of fun in the night." Royal Adviser Shubhankar answered.

"What do you mean?" King Birendra asked while raising his eyebrow.

"Rumors says that he forced a new maid and raped her. He did it in front of everyone. After that, he slept with another maid in the night." Royal Adviser Shubhankar replied.

"What is his problem? He is the crown prince. At least, can't he behave like one? His son is exactly like him. I am really afraid of their reign. Our Kingdom might just disappear in those foolish sons reign." Saying that he sighed.
