(General POV)
Location the Warhammer Old World-Norsca, the Lands of Vargs/The Golden Monolith
It has been some days, since the battle outside of Doomkeep, which ended in the defeat of the Hedonites & Daemons of Slaanesh.
The Dark Legion needing some replenishment turn eastbound to the Golden Monolith, which is dedicated to Slaanesh, and in ruins since the mystical White Dwarf, Grombrindal and his forces of the Ancestral Throng, attacked and destroyed the sacred site dedicated to Dark Princess of Unspeakable Excess.
The Warp Gods believe it be a perfect spot to hunt, and allow their mortal forces some needed time to rest and recuperate, before the upcoming battle with Yuri Godslayer, only for when they encamped in the area, they were raided by khornate marauders.
Resulting in a minor, but still another battle fir the forces of the Warp Gods.
They immediately disembark Enzium, and rushed to battle against the khornate warriors, not wanting to suffer more losses not only did they unleashed the full wrath of Enzium bombarding the enemy mostly comprised of Blades of Khorne units, Blood Warriors, Bloodreavers, Bloodstokers that lash their whips to rally the rest of their tribesmen to battle.
Mighty Skullcrushers riding to battle on Juggernauts, which are the mortal equivalent to the Bloodcrushers of Khorne, Bloodsecrators which are the icon bearers of the tribe, lead by a female Realmgore Ritualist, along with a Aspiring Deathbringer leading the whole tribe.
A Deathharbinger is a gore-drenched fell champions scream praises to the Blood God and urge their fellow Bloodbound to destroy the foe in the name of Khorne this khornate champion, name Gion Bloodquenched wielded a Wrath-hammer and Bloodaxe into battle and has an insatiable thirst for glory, to face and claim the skull of the mighty Chosen of the Gods.
Not only were their Blades of Khorne, and Khornate Marauders in this army but also a couple of Khorgoraths.
Khorgoraths are eternally hungry monsters, predators who strayed too close to Khorne's realm and were transformed into creatures driven to rip apart whoever they find and devour their skulls, huge behemoths with skeleton made appendages pertruding from their massive red arms, with a beast like skull for a left hand, and a three tentacled hand for the other.
But despite their ferocity, the onslaught of several artillery from Enzium, dwindled a large amount of their numbers which was greatly beneficial for them, just when the Warp Gods were about to lead the charge, and start the slaught, Khorne requested something of them.
That they keep the strongest alive, and cull the weak, for he wanted them in his service...all other three Warp Gods, sighed in exasperation at their brother request/demand from them...but regardless, they saw the benefits of having more mighty warriors in their army, so they'll be happy to do their brother's request.
Meanwhile some distance away, out the borders of Black Gulch, the armies of the Godslayer, were close to where the scouts reported the Dark Legion to be "encamped" in the Golden Monolith.
After another raid from the Vargs, which are a fearsome Norscan tribe of Chaos Marauders that inhabits the north-central coastline of Norsca, while much of their history is shrouded by myth and legend, they are reputed to be some of the most bloodthirsty and devoted to Chaos amongst all the northern tribes, for centuries they've been devote followers of the Blood God.
Hence their attack and forcing the Dark Legion to stop the march, which prove to be a great boon of fortune for the Godslayer, as he lead the march from the air.
Flying as fast as he could to face, the Chosen of the Gods, and claim that title and glory for his own...
Back in the newest battlefield for the Dark Legion, with Enzium blasting a new Carnage powered mouth beam, taking down a large number of khornate warriors
During this battle as Ixion/Warp Gods killed another khornate knight and then a heavy armored blood warrior, Tzeentch spoke in their avatar, a comment that made the Dark One feel very stupid...that comment was, "Umm, why don't we combine the various forms of magic?"
Laharl and Tzeentch are basically powerful Gods in magical aspect, with Nurgle being slightly below them, so as God of Sorcerors commented "why can't they mix magical lores together, to create new more powerful spells?" as Khorne grunted cause he knew that Dark One, the Scheming God, and the Maggotking were about to unleash a massive amount of damn sorcery.
Starting with Tzeentch taking control over their avatar, turning it into it's tzeentchian form, he made Ixion rise the Balewing Halbert into the air.
Began to channel and bend not one but two lores of magic, as a thunderstorm formed above them, with raw lightning magic surging through the black clouds, some lightning bolts were crashing around the mountainous and snowy terrain, especially striking the tip of Tzeentch's weapon.
Then as the arcane, eldritch powers of change started to also surge throughout the area, alerting all as a impossibility was happening right in front them all, at the same time as Tzeentch was concentrating and channeling both sources of magic to form and unleash his new devastating spell, all the while the sound of unfamiliar scribbling echoed around the Changer, the other Warp Gods recognize the sound as the Blue Scribes writing down a new spell for OW-Tzeentch.
Their Tzeentch was curious, but his brothers told him, "We'll tell you later." so he resumed his focus on molding the spell, the unpredictable and chaotic power of his own divinity and essense to mold and cause erratic forming of the hundreds bolts striking the source of tzeentchian power.
These forces merge and formed into a massive multi-winged bird made from blue, lightning blue, and pink electrical magical currents, it caw and spread it wings and causing thunder to crash around the area, as it glitch and flux with the powers of Tzeentch.
Tzeentch made Ixion look at the khornate followers, that were shocked and baffled by what they're looking at, as the Changer of Ways smile he swung down his halbert, and unleash what is called the [Fluxing Thunderbird] spell.
It sung and dove down slightly closer to the ground, with many wings spread unleashing the power of lightning, as the wings released many powerful thunderbolts as it flew pass all the Blades of Khorne, but those struck by magical bolts weren't only electrocuted but suffered from various affects of eldritch horror, some started to melt and mutate from the lightning, some rapidly mutating and becoming mindless Chaos Spawns, and much more.
Another large number of khornate warriors have perished and/or turn into mindless slaves for the Warp Gods as Chaos Spawns, attacking their former allies.
As the new Tzeentchian-Lightning spell fading, and Tzeentch having turned the entire tide of the battle in one spell, next it was Nurgle's turn to further cripple their enemy, taking control of the avatar, and transforming into his state like the Changer before him he started to channel the only spell and power he possesses over the Lore of Metal with his own nurglish lore, to create a whole new gift for the blood-touched mortals.
While the vile and stench of various green miasmas were amassing and permeating the entire area, making all en-nauseated and unbelievably sick, pushing back much the khornate forces, all the while the silver and metallic flakes started glowing through the battlefield of the Golden Monolith.
As Nurgle/Ixion prepared and molded his special "magical gift" for the Blades of Khorne, the Warp Gods startes to converse inside of the avatar, knowing that Tzeentch wasn't going to stop asking them about the scribbling and daemonic presence near him when he created and threw the [Fluxing Thunderbird] spell, the Blood God and the Dark One told their younger brother, of the Blue Scribes, P'tarix and Xirat'p, whose main jobs apart from enforcing change, but also record every spell, magic craft, style of enchantment, for this counterpart of him, since in the Old World, OW-Tzeentch manipulated OW-Khorne to shatter him and spread magic onto the world, and every spell and spell-words are a piece of him and the Blue Scribes collect them for him...their brother was both impressed and disappointed with what his lesser counterpart.
While he appreciated the use of those Blue Scribes but to sacrifice his power for a risky scheme that probably would never succeed!!
Tzeentch started to rant and review badly his weaker counterpart...all the while the Dark One, thought, "Should I tell him, that in the original timeline, Tzeentch did the same thing as OW-Tzeentch. Instead of broking himself as OW-Tzeentch, when in lore Khorne, Nurgle, and Slaanesh were about to clap Tzeentch, he surrendered and destroyed his symbol of power a Crystal Staff, while retconned 8th edition...it was still the most likely to happened to him, since there wasn't magic in 40k...until now."
As the two listen to Tzeentch ranting, Nurgle was ready, the green and silver metallic magical auras started to converge and turn a deep orange and brown, the smell denk, old withering metal stunk the air.
Thus a thick miasma of rust formed around the Infection Prince, this is the [Decaying Rust] spell, the mixture of Nurgle's own magic with the Lore of Metal, rising Ixion's arms high the magical, decay infused rust followed Nurgle/Ixion's movement like a swarm of microscopic insects, Nurgle was soo full of cheer, laughter, and joy as he unleashed his newest creation on their enemies, swiping Ixion's arms in a forward and sending out the [Decaying Rust] on the Blades of Khorne.
The rust-cloud swarm and swallowed a large amount of the khornate warriors, and the effects of Nurgle's new spell were instant!!
The [Decaying Rust] ate away their red brass armors, and repurposed bones, ribcages, skulls as well, along with making them very sick, and start vomiting violently.
Serving as crippling, debuff that also "poisons" the weaker bodies with sickness, hence many khornate warriors fell to the illness and let them defenseless against the forces of the Dark Legion, as Nurgle joy and laughter as he spoke through Ixion, in a sick, graspy voice, "Rejoice...in...the loving...embrace...of...the...Grandfather...you'll...bless with...a...gift. Hahahehehaha!!"
Nurgle was truly happy...even if had to sort to sorcery to make this "gift"...as more fell, this once near 3k vargs were being reduced to 1k+ of khornate warriors, with the Aspiring Deathbringer, Gion Bloodquenched still alive and strong, impressing the Warp Gods truly.
But it was now time for Laharl to show the remaining Blades of Khorne, his newest spell.
Taking control over their avatar, transforming into his state, and like his younger brothers he began manipulating his personal lore along with the Lore of Fire, all the while the Blue Scribes were going crazy in writting and recording these new spell for the SorcerorGod.
Again the area of the Golden Monolith, it started to darken and the shadows began to rise and turn into terrifying silhouettes of daemons and creatures of nightmares, while also the snow started to melt and bubble, as geysers of intense flame burst out the ground, rising his avatar's Hellbane Darkness pointing it to the sky, as all darkness, shadows, and fires started to swirl and combine around the massive daemonic blade.
Those two magical forces began to become one turning into a black and blackish red intense dark flames, Laharl will admit he was inspired by one of the greatest darkness & fire technique from one of his first animes that he has seen long ago, those dark flames started to burst to the sky from the tip of the blade, taking the form of a massive daemonic serpent of dark flame, hence the name of this combination spell is the [Serpent of the Black Flames] Ixion/Laharl looked at the shocked khornate warriors and said, "Feel the wrath of darkness!!! Feed the serpent that dwells in the shadow!!!!" swinging down the sword, and unleashing the great serpent of dark flames, as it slithered and roared at its prey.
Smashing and burning all the ground and snow that the serpent touched, every soul that is devoured by the massive maw of black flame fangs, burning everything including armor and ash, leaving nothing just utter oblivion!!!
As the [Serpent of the Black Flames] devastated everything Tzeentch and even Khorne was impressed by their older brother, but Khorne corrected what he meant, "The ferocity and bloodlust of this magical beast is impressive...despite it's damnable origins." Laharl knew that is the closest to complement any form of magic...except for Skarlet, when the Dark One, mentioned this he growled and yelled at Laharl which made the others laugh at their brother's embarrassment.
Returning to the destruction wrought by the Dark One's powerful spell, the Blue Scribes were amazed to such a level they started to cheer in amazement that temporarily exposed them, since their cloaking fell and they quickly recast it on themselves, of course the Warp Gods saw them even with their cloaking on them, to stop Tzeentch from whining Laharl promised that once they return temporarily to their world they'll allow him use the Infinity Fountain to claim the Blue Scribes, P'tarix and Xirat'p for him, if he please concentrated on the battle...over better said the slaughter that their currently in.
The serpent finished by rising to the air, before diving straight at the snow covered ground, causing a black flame explosion oblirating all the khornate warriors near the blast zone, as the spell has concluded and Laharl relinquished control over Ixion, as they return to share control and reverted to its Undivided State.
The final couple of hundreds of Blades of Khorne, that have survived the three combination magics that Ixion unleashed upon them one after another, this enraged Gion Bloodquenched, as he smashed his wrath-hammer onto the ground rising back on his feet, and with weapons into the air and yelled out, "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!!! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!!!!!" inspiring all the remaining members of his tribe, to stand back up as they'll keep on fighting in the Blood God name, which pleased Warp Khorne greatly.
After the Blood God saw the strength, bravery, battlelust, and bloodthirst that they've fully prove themselves to him, so he demanded to take the reigns of Ixion, which the other permitted...as the Vargs rushed straight at Ixion and his forces beside him, a burst of power unlike anything they've encountered before, as a Champion of Khorne now stood before them all.
With Khorne/Ixion rising his sword and battleaxe roaring in great might, ferocity, and power, releasing his overwhelming power and bloodlust, throughout the avatar.
Gion Bloodquenched, was forced to kneel before the true champion of the Blood God, him along his surviving tribesmen also fell to their knees in reverence to a true Chosen of the Blood God, he is truly the legendary Butcher of Bloodfire Falls, Ixion/Khorne has subjugate the survivors and the strongest were worthy to follow him, and with that Gion and his Varg Blades of Khorne have been defeated and assimilated into the Dark Legion.
But before they could reorganize and return to inside of Enzium, the said Living Daemon Fortress roared, alerting the entire Dark Legion as Ixion/Warp Gods looked up at the direction of the tallest hill was a daemon prince flying over the site, but this wasn't any daemon prince this is Yuri Godslayer, the Slayer of the Bear.
He smash/landed onto the snow hill, as a massive army of daemons from the four Ruinous Powers, along with many mortal warriors of Chaos, seems that unlike the Total War game this Godslayer is able to fight and command mortal units as well.
But what really surprised the Dark One, was the sight of nine Cockatrices landing beside the Godslayer's forces, he commented to Tzeentch that he can take the Cockatrice for his own like Khorne's Slaughterbrutes, which intrigued the Changer.
Regardless another battle was just about to begin, and the Warp Gods were eager to start.
