THE REALM OF GEMINI DIVIDED
"Let me probe the sicko further", Sara told us.
Sara turned on her scanners to study Mamane to discover the source of his magic. After a long time, she found it.
"There is a source of magic here, possibly magic of Life, within Mamane's body. That is the source of his magic", Sara told us.
"So, Mamane ate the source of his healing magic? How the hell can we remove that source if its inside of him?" Chash asked.
"Call on the Sword of Malevolence. It will swallow the creature together with his magic source", Meera suggested to me.
That was the best idea that we had so far.
However, the source of magic inside Mamane was probably immense. If the Dark Angel took this magic, his resurrection would advance considerably faster. That was something I must avoid.
We thought about the matter for a long time without much progress. Then I remembered something.
"The ancestor said that the source of his Immortality is in this place which is the reason he couldn't return to the surface to become the king again", I told them.
"What are you getting at?" Rinna asked me.
"Yes, that is correct. The source of the creep's magic isn't inside of his body. I must have made a wrong assumption", Sara told us.
"I don't understand. Where is the source of his magic if it isn't inside of his body?" Chash asked Sara.
"The creep's huge body must have enveloped the source of his magic. The source of magic isn't inside his body. His huge body is only covering his source of magic", Sara told us.
"Yes, that is a great discovery. But we still couldn't make the huge monster leave his source of magic", Ratatouille added his comment.
"Well, as long as the source of magic supporting Mamane is not inside of him, that is enough", I told them.
"What are you going to do?" Rinna asked me.
"What I did with the other Skeleton King", I replied to her.
"The Fate of Gemini divided?" Cassandra asked.
------
I wield a singular, extraordinary magic that binds my opponent to me in a final, inescapable duel to the death.
Once invoked, this battle is isolated from any external influence, confined within a designated arena where no one can interfere. It is my only spell, but it is the perfect weapon against an enemy with limitless power.
In an instant, the world around us dissolved into a swirling void, transporting us into a realm neither empty nor comprehensible, filled with bizarre, unfathomable objects spinning wildly in the darkness.
This place was eerily familiar to me—I had been here before although there were new additions since, I last entered this place.
The world before us could only be described as chaos incarnate.
Objects floated aimlessly in a disordered dance, each one completely unrelated to the next.
Enormous statue heads drifted by, shattering as they collided with the jagged peaks of enchanted towers. Wagons, drawn by clouds of fury, barreled past, while giant lollipops, defying all logic, spun lazily in the void.
This was a carnival of chaos—the battlefield where I must defeat my opponent.
The Realm of the Gemini Divided.
Standing before me was Mamane, the ancestor of Trogdol.
-----
"What did you do? Where am I?" Mamane screamed at me in shock and surprise when he appeared in this strange realm.
Mamane never came into my Realm of Gemini Divided. Few people ever did without being killed after the experience.
Mamane wasn't in a hostile situation with me before this, so he would not suspect that he was taken into a duel to the death by force.
I could work with that knowledge to my favor.
"This is a transportation channel", I replied to him with some quick wit.
Mamane flexed his many tentacles that covered an enormous space, but it occupied only a small corner in this realm of our arena.
"Hahaha, free. I am free at last from that cursed corridor", Mamane said to me to my surprise.
"What corridor?" I asked him curiously.
"The Corridor to the Realm of Life of course. The source of my immortality magic", Mamane told me.
Now I understood at last.
The source of Mamane's inexhaustible regeneration magic came from something called the Corridor to the Realm of Life. Mamane, in his quest for immortality, found the corridor and set himself at the door to the corridor as his throne.
True to his expectations, he gained immortality with the use of the magic flowing out from the Corridor to the Realm of Life.
But there was a catch to his gain.
If Mamane were to leave the Corridor to the Realm of Life, he would lose this magic. He would even die immediately just like the undead on the stream under the grove, who died after the stream water was exhausted.
"How did you do this? Release me from the Corridor to the Realm of Life and yet I am still alive," Mamane asked me in curiosity.
"Are you freed from your Immortality curse, ancestor?" I asked Mamane to probe him about his current conditions.
"I lost access to the magic from the Corridor to the Realm of Life but for some reason, the magic I have existing in me did not dissipate like it should. Once I leave the corridor, by right, my magic will decay rapidly and I will even die", Mamane told me.
Mamane didn't know he was put into a duel to the death with me in this realm of the Gemini Divided. He thought I freed him from the Corridor to the Realm of Life with some unknown magic. He was relatively happy in fact.
"I am free at last", Mamane declared.
Mamane wasn't a threat to me now. In fact, I became the one who saved him from being trapped in the Corridor to the Realm of Life.
The problem was, I must kill Mamane to return to my world, or if he kills me first.
Fortunately for me he doesn't know that yet.
"What is this place?" Mamane asked me curiously.
