Morgan stared while I simply had the worst day of my life. "Is anything wrong Master?" I stared back as I tilted the shades "Is anything wrong? I just found out that I'm being ganged up on in the Grail War!" Morgan's familiars had been listening into conversations and turns out, ever since my arrival was announced. I had become the public number one enemy for other masters. So much so that they were willing to gang up on me before turning on each other.
"It's not too bad of a situation master." I rubbed my forehead. Not too bad she said? I hadn't even mastered my innate techniques. Heck I couldn't even use my innate domain. The most I could do was use a normal domain. Heck my only spells were the neutral and blue form of limitless along with some other basic ones I learnt from El Melloi and some other random old coots from the Gojo family.
"So, who's in the Anti-Gojo movement?" Morgan hummed before handing me a list of names and boy was I not too pleased. Morgan reiterated some details "They aren't all officially aligned but they have the same thought and goal of eliminating you first."
I stared at the list "Bruh."
[Tohsaka Rin]
[Matou Shinji]
[Matou Zouken]
[Illyasviel Von Einzbern]
"I'll probably aim to eliminate them one by one but if they do happen to gang up on me then that's a bit too mean." Of course I would be the one looking for them, Six Eyes had a range that covered a good majority of the city. I wouldn't have trouble finding a few servants and I doubt that an assassin could sneak up on me.
"Hey Morgan, you up for a grocery run late night?" A smirk resembling that of the mastermind that collapsed a whole kingdom creeped on her face. "In modern terms, this would be a test run correct?" I snapped my fingers before grinning "Bingo, let's see what you can do. And if we're lucky, we'll take out some of the competition."
I clasped my hands together as Morgan simply tapped the ground with her staff as a huge water mirror appeared. "Convenience store at this street kay?" With that I appeared right beside the grocery store as Morgan walked through the water mirror.
I grabbed some late night snacks before me and Morgan started heading towards the park.
"Well if it isn't bug boy!" I sneered at the seaweed haired boy as he cackled.
"A caster moving about? Looks like the rumour of your genius were unfounded."
I shook my head as I replied, "You misunderstand Shinji. You're my testing dummy. Morgan?" Before I even finished, Shinji had been trapped in a water dome. "Take care of dear Shinji, I want to test out your buffs"
Before I could even finish, a nail dagger barely stopped just before my head. "Fast, very fast." I watched as the servant sped up even more. It wasn't a problem with the speed, it was a problem with the reactions. I could go that fast with the constant high speed warping but I don't think I could move my body that fast. Six Eyes essentially split a single second into a few minutes. I could obviously see, but I would have to have the activation of the spells within split seconds.
I raised my hands as I channelled even more magical energy into Blue.
"Cursed Technique Lapse: Maximum Output Blue"
In an instant the world was forced to correct itself due to the negative inconsistency. Roads and trees along with everything in the vicinity was crushed and forced into being crushed. It was good enough as Rider seemed to have slowed down a bit from the multiple points of attraction.
"Caster!"
Multiple spears of crystalline blue crashed down around forcing the servant to take certain routes. I continued to blast the surroundings with blue as the servant was forced to take the only path left to me.
Once again the dagger stopped just before but this time I'd make sure she would be dead before she left. Caster seemed to be on the same wave length as the moment I had released infinity and the dagger pierced my shoulder, Caster had cast a curse that slowed her down before multiple spears skewered her torso. Rider tried to run but I wasn't about to let the first target of the night away. Plus it was that nasty little weakling.
I shifted the point of blue as the legs of the servant were crushed before another crystal spear punched through Rider's head. "Welp that was a learning experience. Caster, I want to go home." I continued to whine as Caster stared at the seaweed hair in disgust. "Let's leave, I'm hungry as well."
A water mirror appeared as I slunk off into the ripple. I did not want to do anything for the rest of the day. While It wasn't exactly that close of a call, I would say that I am vulnerable if anyone has an anti-magecraft noble phantasm or mystic code. Or fast enough to wear me out from defence.
I hummed as I opened up the snacks and ready to eat meals from the convenience store. I do suppose Morgan was surprised when she found out that food had evolved a long way since the medieval times. A ping of the Gojo estate's barriers quickly alerted the presence of a potential guest. Those magic circuit patterns and signature, Marisbury. Next to him was a servant. But, the strange thing was that the servant was completely obscured and it's class was Caster? I walked out out to the main gate with Caster trailing behind to make sure no shady business was going on.
"Marisbury, what did you do to summon a second Caster?"
Morgan was already on edge, constantly prodding my mental state with pokes trying to alert me to something. "I really can't get anything past your eyes can I? Young Gojo."
"Master, that servant is completely out of every single servants' league right now."
Marisbury smiled before explaining, "You see, the grail war is actually meant to punch a hole to the root using the souls of seven heroic spirits. I don't want that, I want the material wish from the grail. So, I reworked the rules a bit to allow me to summon an extra Caster instead of the Archer. My catalyst had no other class containers suited you see."
I was on edge, this man was capable of tweaking the grail system without triggering any response and managed to bypass the dangers of that curse. "Of course, I'd like to talk if you will?"
I sneered, "Why in the hell would I let a potential enemy in my home?" Marisbury simply kept smiling and that was when Morgan materialised a number of spears ready. "You should check your bounded fields you know. Caster?"
Morgan grit her teeth, "That man is above me in terms of magecraft. No his identity is all but hidden. That man is the King of Magecraft, Solomon." The ten rings on his fingers gave him away along with the royal accented robes. The bounded fields had been hijacked and everything was potentially going to go wrong. Marisbury sighed and continued his speech. "I will in the war, that is guaranteed. However I'll give you a chance to fight fair, servant to servant. After the war, I want to ask for your power in my future organisation, Chaldea."
My jaw was opened wide.
"You want to employ me?"
