12. Meeting Parents after many years!!

Luna was sitting beside her parents. Her parents were lying unconsciously on bed. She looked at them with her tear stained cheeks. Her chest was tightening, it was suffocating her. She held her dad's hand. It was cold. Her head felt dizzy. The atmosphere was suffocating her. She stood up and walked towards Black's room.

Black was sitting on sofa. His eyes were closed. He was trying to calm himself. He wanted to tear the Smith's apart. His teachers suffered through a lot. Even though they were not his parents, but for him they were more important than his parents.

Luna sat beside him. Black felt the pressure around him. He opened his eyes and looked at her. Her eyes were red from crying. She looked worn out. Her face was gloomy and her eyes lost all the innocence. They were cold as ice. Her temperament was difficult to judge. Black rubbed her head with his palm. Luna relaxed at his touch. She soon drifted off to sleep.

After few minutes, Luna woke up. Black was still sleeping on the other side of couch. She put blanket around him and went to her parent's room. She stopped in her tracks. Her dad and mom were awake. She immediately called black. Black rushed towards the room. They went near her dad.

"Teacher, are you okay?" Black asked.

"M..Mhm ..." Mr. Everson said with difficulty.

"Eric.. y..you grew up a l.. lot. Look at y..you, all handsome now. A..and what's with te.. teacher? Why are you making us feel like stranger? Call us uncle and aunt." Mrs. Everson said.

Luna was standing far from the bed. She still felt guilty about her past behaviours. She wanted to hug them and apologise to them. But she didn't had courage to walk upto them.

"Uncle, Aunt, your daughter helped me to rescue you." Black said and narrated all the incident. Mr. And Mrs. Everson's eyes lit at the mention of their daughter. They searched around the room and the gaze landed upon Luna. They recognised their daughter within seconds.

"Luna" Her mom called gently. But her voice was laced with pain.

Luna ran towards her parents and hold their hand. She cried her heart out.

"S.. Sorry mom... S.. sorry d..dad. So.. Sorry for ta.. taking so long to se.. search. So.. sorry for eve.. everything. I am so..so sorry. Sor.. sorry for listening to Smith's." Luna was muttering non stop.

Mrs. Everson stroked her head and said, "It's not you fault, Luna. Smith's brainwashed you since you were 10. It's okay. We don't blame you."

After a while, they all were talking happily with each other. Mr. and Mrs. Everson were happy to be with their small family again.

"After we recover, we will take care of that b@stard family." Mr. Everson said in rage.

"Uncle, You don't need to worry of this shit. I will take care of everything." Black said.

"Chill. We can't risk it now. If we kill them now, it will be big sensation. And they still have their goodwill amongst people. Right now, if we do something to them. It will be like to put axe on your own foot." Luna said calmly.

"What do you suppose we do? Stay silent till they get more powerful in future. After few months, they might have more networks and it would get more difficult to kill them." Black tried reasoning to her.

"No. Nothing like that will happen. We don't have time to deal with this nonsense stuff right now. We can't waste time on them. It will be wasted. Right now, we need to focus on improving my parents health, black you need to improve your fighting skills and abilities. I know you are good at it. But still, precaution is always better than cure. This 3 months are very essential for us. After 3 months, we might get various opportunities to kill Smith's. And it won't be sensational." Luna explained.

"Why? What will happen after 3 months?" Mr. Everson asked.

"I will tell you all after we get back to City A. I need brother Shawn, big bro and Ashley to know about it too. It's big thing." Luna sighed.

"Mhm okay." Black nodded.

"I will prepare soup for that will help you boost your immune. It will help you to recover fast. I will make it daily from now on. Also after cooking, I will go out." Luna said.

"I will come with you." Black said.

"We can heal ourselves with our healing abilities." Mr. Everson said.

"I know dad. Even Black's magic might help you in healing still you need to eat medicinal food. For now, I am preparing soup and tea. But later I will cook whole meal. They are beneficial."

Luna took required ingredients from space, packed it in bag. She went to mini kitchen in their room. Black was already present in room.

"What are you doing here?" Luna asked.

"To help you, of course. Let's start." Black winked at her.

Luna went beside him and pulled out honeybush, cinnamon, chamomile, apple, orange peel, licorice root from bag. Black was observing her movements.

"What are you making?" He asked.

"Firstly, I will make hot honeybush Cider herbal tea." Luna said. She took a blender and added fermented honeybush stems, apple pieces, cinnamon and chamomils leaves. She turned on blender and let it blend.

"How will this benefit us?" Black asked.

"Cinnamon supports the immune system and helps with focus. Chamomile is soothing and good for sleep. Licorice root helps with digestion and supports the health. Honeybush helps with increase good cholesterol (HDL) and improve the function of the inner lining of blood vessels. " Luna said.

She kept water to boil and added the mixture in water. Later she added orange peel and let it boil for a while. After boiling, she pour the tea with drainer in 4 cups.

"Give it to mom and dad. Ask if they want milk in it or not. If you want, you can add too. I will continue with preparing food."

Black went to give tea to Mr. And Mrs. Everson. Luna took out blender again and added jeera, whole pepper, red clover, garlic, coriander stems and let it blend. On other side, she kept pan on stove, pour oil and kept it to heat. After heating, she spluttered mustard seeds, dried chillies, curry leaves and hing. Then she added the blended spices and saute them for a minute. After one minute, she added tomatoes, tumeric, salt, chilli , tamarind extract and water. She started stirring it properly and let it boil for 10 minutes. She poured the Instant Rasam soup in 4 bowls and garnished it with coriander leaves.

She took the tray in her parent's room and gave them to drink. Black drank his tea and his soup portion.

"Tiny brain, you are amazing cook." He exclaimed.

Luna punched him on his shoulder.

"So hard."

Black laughed at her.
