Trouble at dinner date

Yusheng looked at the menu unable to decide the dishes she asks for Pei Jin to order for both of them. Pei Jin then gives names of the dishes even without looking suprising Yusheng. Tao remembering the dishes strikes the jade stone calling for the waiter.

Being glared by his master he dare not remain in the room thus he takes his leave and guards the door waiting for the waiter to place the order.

"You seem quite familiar to this place?" asks Yusheng. Pei Jin smiles and poured her cup of water while softly explaining "Umm.. have been here few times.. it's a friends restaurant.. but it has been quite some time I have been here.. the dishes I ordered are the best and popular ones"

Yusheng nods her head "Umm.. your friend is very rich.. and clever.. with the nobles and royals flocking in his pockets must have holes from too much money"

Umm.. true.. but your Xiu is also pulling money a lot, after all it has snatched first place from baozang. The one running Xiu also has good heads on his shoulders able to give good blow...praises Pei Jin.

Umm.. mu an has always been steady, his way of handling things are close to perfection making him worthy of being third elders direct disciple.. compliments Yusheng.

They were disrupted by waiter entering with dishes and pot of wine. Placing them he takes his leave leaving the guests to enjoy their time. Yusheng feeling pity orders Tao to have dinner below or at another room.

Tao happily obliges and leaves to eat after all the smell of the dishes had him hungry. Pei gently pours the soup while explaining the dishes to Yusheng.

"It is a mutton soup very popular in the entire capital. Here have some to warm your stomach" says Pei Jin.

Yusheng sips and indeed finds the soup very delicious. While she was sipping her soup Pei Jin had place fried shrimps with longjing tea on her plate and the tender mutton meat on her plate.

Yusheng kept eating while Pei Jin kept serving beside these two there were also dishes. Stewed spring Bamboo shoots, west lake fish in vinegar sauce, sizzling rice in tomato sauce, cold chicken cooked in wine, sauted broad beans with hams, Mapo tofu and sauted big ear mushrooms.

Though the dishes were lot the portion was for two hence they managed to finish it all. Yusheng realised that Pei Jin ate little compared to her thus served him on the latter part.

Pei Jin was over the moon and ate with gusto after being served by his beloved. They were now sipping on digestive tea and waiting for the desert when they heard a snarky and haughty voice outside.

"How dare you give this room to some unknown people? Don't you know that this young master has always preferred this room?

Don't you see his highness the fifth prince and third princess together with this master. Do you not want your head anymore?"

Pei Jin answers Yusheng for she didn't knew the person who was shouting "umm.. it's the stupid Li Si son of duke li Jing. Seems like he has come with Pei yan and Pei wen cai... there must also be his sister li yin with them. They are a group of clowns joining together to jump around"

Yusheng nods "oh! the third princess and fifth prince are quite energetic to run around with equally energetic people. If my memory serves me right this duke and fifth prince used to belong to mu lams faction right?"

Pei Jin smirks "umm.. both were clever to let go early to protect their own hides...nothing but clowns showing their might to those of below them"

Yusheng taps the table with her fingers and with mischievous glint in her eyes "let's give a show to people, been long since we had a show people must be quite bored.."

Pei Jin looks at her adorable face and caressing her cheeks humms okay.

Just then they hear the people forcing through the door so they quickly put on their hats.

The waiter was very troubled as he was instructed to serve these guests well but now with all these high people creating trouble he didn't know how to control the situation hence after their forceful entry he runs to call their manager.
