It first symptoms are similar to of cold...but as time passes it spreads to the lungs and nerves...with more time it even reaches to the blood, bones and brain...it has a rapid speed growth...because it spreads to many different places the patients body gives mixed signals making it difficult for the doctor to perform particular method to cure or prescribe the medicine...which is the reason that it is known to be one of the most difficult disease to be treated...

But there are three steps to cure this disease...first you have to find which level the disease has progressed to...if the person is showing early stages similar to of common cold then perform the normal accupture if the patient cough is dry and sweats heavily then it can be controlled after performing three sessions of acupunture...

if the person coughs out lots of phlegm and doesn't sweat then it has reached to the lungs and nerves...in that case you have to immediately place the person in tub with herbal mixture...then perform the Nengyuan acupunture...you have to forcefully open the meridians then fluctuate the energy within to a high point...high enough to dry out the cold spread inside the lungs and the nerves..

As some of you might not have enough qi to do so but fear not ...with the herbs properties entering through the opened meriadians it will act as a helping hand thus reducing your work by half..the herbs itself act as a heat source to drive out the cold inside...

Finally if the person doesn't cough phlegm but is rather cold to touch, with his limbs stiff and lips colour from pale to blue then you have to understand that the disease has reached the final point and spread through blood, bones and the brains....

It is possible for the patient to die within one or two days after reaching that level hence you have to act very quickly...first you have to give that person a warm bath slightly hot water than normal..then you have to rub re oil on the persons body and cover them tightly from his head to toe...insert the air pipe on his throat for breathing...

Then the person should be kept warm for half an hour...be reminded you are not to use brazers or any heating methods with fumes for the person may suffocate and die...you can prepare the Kang bed if not available then use hand warmers to warm the bed early on...

After half hour check their body temperature...if still cold then leave them be for another half an hour but if they have their normal temperature then take of the wraps and covers...immediately block all their meridian points...and proceed to perform Zhongyao acupunture...you have to be quick and precise...the person will start to become reddish as their blood flow will increase...do not fear from their colour or attempt to struggle from the discomfort...

With their meridian blocked they cannot move...after their entire body looks red and nerves starts to swell making them visible under the skin...pull out all the needles from leg to the head be reminded the order of taking out cannot be misdone as the patient will die immediately...also take out the air pipe...

After you take out the needles.. the person will bleed from all the puncture points including vomiting of blood and phlegm from their mouth...do not be afraid it won't last for long...by then most of the spread cold is forced out of the body...after cleaning the person make sure you prescribe them with blood pill and herbal soup to recover their loss of blood..
