When he heard the question, Mo Chenxuan was momentarily surprised.

He didn't expect Qin Wu to bluntly ask such a question.

After all, neither had actually admitted they were reborn.

However, he soon regained his composure, and his eyes softened as he looked at the woman.

"Space and lightning." He answered, but his eyes were unnoticeably dodgy.

"How big is your space?"

"Big enough." Mo Chenxuan said, and without waiting for Qin Wu to say anything else, he pointed at the door.

"Get dressed and come down for breakfast."

"Mmmm." Qin Wu nodded and closed the door behind her.

Seeing this, Mo Chenxuan sighed.

'Wu'er, when the time is right, I will tell you everything.' He thought and went downstairs.

Five minutes later, Qin Wu appeared in front of Mo Chenxuan.

As usual, she was dressed in white.

However, her formal suit was replaced with white jeans, a long-sleeved shirt and a sweater. Similarly, her feet were wrapped in trendy white sneakers instead of high heels.

"Is white, okay?" Mo Chenxuan asked.

"It's okay." Qin Wu smiled.

After eight years in the apocalypse, Qin Wu had mastered the art of killing zombies without making a mess of her clothes.

Since she was already a master, why compromise on her preferred wardrobe?

"As long as you are okay with it." Mo Chenxuan said and led the way to the dining table.

"Breakfast is ready." He said while checking the time.

It was fifteen minutes past eight.

Ideally, Mo Chenxuan wanted to leave the house in the next fifteen minutes.

However, he didn't want to rush Wu'er.

"The internet is already in an uproar." Qin Wu sighed as she sat down.

It was the same in her previous life.

In her previous life, everyone woke up at exactly eight in the morning.

After waking up, seventy per cent of the human race became zombies, nineteen per cent remained ordinary, while one per cent became superpowers.

Unfortunately, the world was in a panic.

As a result, the infection quickly spread, and within days, an additional twenty per cent joined the zombie brotherhood.

"Eat as you read." Mo Chenxuan reminded.

"Okay." Qin Wu said, stuffing a dumpling into her mouth.

At the same time, she opened a popular search engine and checked the trending stories.

'My husband was okay when we went to sleep but somehow got rabies while he was sleeping. He just tried to bite me, and I hid in the bathroom. I have called emergency services, but no one is picking up. What should I do?' Qin Wu read.

'My daughter was on City W Flight 124 and was supposed to have landed thirty minutes ago. Can anyone reach anybody on City W Flight 124?'

'My child has a fever, but when I rushed her to the hospital, monsters were running around inside. What to do? Is anyone a doctor? Can anyone help me?'

'I overslept and couldn't take my usual train. I just drove onto the highway and encountered a multiple-car crash. Where are the police?'

'Wasn't there a post about the zombie apocalypse yesterday? Does anyone know where the post is?'

'I just saw my neighbour biting her child! How crazy!'

'Zombies! It's a zombie apocalypse.'

'The trains are not running.'

'You guys…, is the world really going to end?'

After reading these, Qin Wu shook her head and planned to exit the search engine.

However, before she could, she noticed a trending live broadcast.

"What's this?" She muttered and clicked on the video.

Soon after, a young man appeared on the screen.

The man was blonde, wearing yellow clothes and red shoes.

At a glance, he looked like a second-generation young master.

"This is what is happening in my neighbourhood." The man said, pointing his phone several metres away.

A moment later, a dozen people appeared on the screen.

However, these people were not ordinary.

One had a deformed head as if someone had taken a bat to their skull.

Another was dragging his intestines.

A third had somehow gorged his eye out of its socket.

Of the dozen, four had rotting skin, while the others were a pallid shade of blue-grey.

At a glance, the people looked like extras in a zombie apocalypse film.

While the live broadcast audience was horrified, the blond-haired young man approached the dozen people.

However, the dozen smelled his scent and grunted in excitement.

Soon after, they hastened their steps and began chasing the blonde-haired young man.

"These things can only be zombies." The young man said while running from the creatures.

[Lei Feng, is this real?] Someone asked in the live broadcast room.

[It's real. The same thing is happening in my neighbourhood.]

[Could Lei Feng always run so fast?]

[Did you also notice? This guy is like the Flash.]

"Lightning Flash…" Qin Wu muttered, and Mo Chenxuan narrowed his eyes.

Lightning Flash was a famous speed superpower during the apocalypse.

From what Mo Chenxuan knew, Lightning Flash was the best reconnaissance superpower in the first fortress.

Unfortunately, not even he could outrun the inevitable fate of the human race.

Thinking of this, Mo Chenxuan felt gloomy and subconsciously glanced at his watch.

"Boss, what's your plan?" Qin Wu suddenly asked.

"I am no longer your boss." Mo Chenxuan said, and Qin Wu nodded in understanding.

"What should I call you from now on? Mo Chenxuan? Chenxuan? Brother Mo? Brother Chenxaun?" She asked.

When Mo Chenxuan heard his name called in that sultry voice, his hand uncontrollably trembled.

'This woman.' He silently cursed, but his face remained impassive.

"I will call you brother Chenxuan, and you will call me Wu'er. How about it?" Qin Wu teased, but her heart was in her throat.

Although she seemed confident, she wasn't.

After all, she was facing the man she loved.

As long as it had something to do with Mo Chenxuan, Qin Wu couldn't be calm.

This time, she took a big gamble and hoped it would pay off.

Fortunately, Mo Chenxuan had already been thinking of her as Wu'er.

"Wu'er." He called, and Qin Wu trembled.

'I made a mistake.' She internally screamed.

'How can I focus when that voice calls my name like that?' She wondered.

Fortunately, Mo Chenxuan came to the rescue.

While Qin Wu was daydreaming, the man removed a thick folder from his space.

"What is this?" Qin Wu immediately regained her focus.

"A folder of maps."

"Maps?" Qin Wu took the folder and began to peruse it.

To her surprise, the folder had hundreds of city T street maps.

Even more surprising, each map had different coloured markings.
